Thank you for you video on ELEMENTS. I made a video for one of the music segments and shared it on your Facebook page. I’d like to share it w the Tuesday group coming up….
They are becoming what they replaced, ( in certain scenarios ) a drum kit in effect.
I wish I could to NAMM one day, but normal people like myself are forbidden from going. I found that to go, you have to be one of the following: a manufacturer, a professional musician, a demonstrator, or a friend of one of the people mentioned. And I’m afraid that if I even show up to the door and they found out I’m none of these things, I could end up in jail. So I’m just gonna give up my dream of going to NAMM.
Thanks for great vids and info. But please, cajon is the spanish word for box, and is pronounced 'cahon' with a short 'o' (vowels in spanish are nearly always short, unlike english where they can be short or long). So, it is not pronounced 'cahone' as you are doing. Cultural awareness/respect is always important - especially for a 'world drum' club. Keep up the great work.
