I find this game’s Heartless designs (not necessarily their fights) to be some of my favorites. Antlion, Leechgrave, Infernal Engine, Ruler of the Skies, Phantomtail, Dustflier, heck, even the common enemy heartless designs were cool like the Blitz Shear, Dragons, and their recolors
Love the callback to KH1 on the bottom screen as you're fighting and doing missions. This was my 1st game into the series so I was seeing Sora same way Roxas saw him
I'm pretty sure that's intentional. At that point, Axel was more of an acquaintance to Xion and therefore still sees her with the hood on while Roxas has become more of a friend to her making him see her unhooded. We're seeing this scene in different perspectives.

It would be harder than DDD to remaster considering DDD used an engine with 3D models which is significantly easier to upgrade as opposed to the pixel graphics of 358/2 Days

And when I got into the scene Xion 'died,' I was tearing up. This will always hold a special place in my heart than any other DSI games ♡

Today I also put together that the memories of Sora really started to show up after you see some of the Org. members die off, because the events of COM are happening at the same time 🤯
I remember playing this game on my DSi. The palm on my left hand (the one that was controlling the control pad) was hurting so much when I played this for longer than 15 minutes. I honestly thought that playing for more than an hour would give me carpal tunnel. But then I had to face the "Ruler of the Skies"... GOD my palms hurt so much after I defeated him. Ahh, memories... It's amazing that you could pull this off without taking any damage. Did you do this in Proud Mode?
Man, the leech grave literally took me 6 hours to take out.... After 4 hours of button mashing I had to put my DS in sleep mode to get back feeling in my fingers
Dustflier is by far the hardest boss to deal against with it. It took me a lot of tries to beat it. I even use Touhou final boss music. The best attempt was 8 final bosses. Thank you 2 girls for helping me beat the heck out of this boss.
Y’all notice at the 6-7 minute marks Xion’s appearance changed based on who was speaking to her and what they saw. Roxas sees a girl while Axel sees a hooded puppet.

@@reissryhas And Saix is implied to not even see her wearing a hood, but as a lifeless doll itself (likely the armor from when you fight her at the end), which explains alot about his actions towards her and really just makes him tragic more then anything. To Siax, Axel literally chooses a doll over him, his old best friend, and Saix just can't understand why.

When I see you fighting the bosses, I noticed how linear their attack patterns were. I wonder how I always lost to the. Then there was Xion in that Halloween-Town form. She spams Ragnarok, I swear, lol I found a way to stop her from using it, but I always found that to be unfair to many players.

I always found that if you stay close to her more (and stay on the ground), Xion spams ragnarock less. If she ever uses it, start gliding away and try to make sure that when the move's duration is almost over, you're close to her again so that she starts using melee attacks instead of ragnarock.
It's been a few years now since I actually played this game. I can barely remember it, but I remember there was one boss that ended up glitching, and wouldn't allow me to do any damage to it. As I watch this video, I realize it was the Guard Armor from the Hercules tournament...thing. I dunno, it's been forever, but has anyone else had the problem where it just wouldn't die?
Truth be told, I never really consider enemies in this game full "bosses" unless they have an elaborate cutscene death. So even familiar bosses like Veil Lizards and Guard Armors are mere mini-bosses to me.

I still think it's weird how the Days Movie doesn't include Roxas encountering Saix at the entrance right before they fight each other.

i played this when i was little, like 4 years and i strugled with all of this bosses, and you just clean the floor with their faces? XD.
(now that i think about it i still got to beat saix, where is that game!?)
