Hey guys, to give you a bit more context of why I called out P4wnyhof so hard in this video. Basically he has been consistently using ideas that I and other Necromancer content creators work so hard to come up with and then doesn't credit us and even goes so far as to claim the work as his own. In this case he used the build idea I put forward in my "New Tech Makes Every Necro Build S Tier" video and got the build out before I did. The reason for the side by side was to show how much better my version of the build is than his copy. I am perfectly okay with him using other creators ideas and builds for his own videos, but I think if he's not going to credit us then its perfectly fair for us to use footage from his videos to show the actual power level of his builds, which are almost always below the original creators builds. Let me know what you guys think of this video!
Guys, the clickbait drama is low, be better, you all are smart enough to know that Diablo is so very limited on build variaty and coming to same conclusion is something common, now who optimize it better is fine but also subjective as somebody could care more about damage on bonespear than split it on corpse explosion, or care more about moving faster, claiming you discovered something first is childish and the whole drama for drama sake as i said for clickbait, please move on, your content is great and this is no needed at all. Yes, anyone can put out a build and say its the best build in the world but you just look like an amature if you don't do your due diligence as a content creator. Way I see it there are only 2 possibilities: 1. He(pawneewhatever) actually came up with the "Nuclear Necro" BS/CE/Blackriver build himself, but didn't actually do any research on how anyone else has built it, and ended up with a very unoptimized variant of the bombardier necro and called it S-Tier best necro without justifying how his build is better. 2. He copied Otter's build and made a few tweaks, called it a day without any real benchmarking Either way, not a good look

I really hope Blizzard soes something to remove the lidless + shielding storm req for every build to open up more build variation. At current state feels like cant survive w/o them in T100 clears. Love the setup. QQ any testing on putting rathma on amulet for more attack speed compared to higher crits with viens? Also thoughts on grandfather for bossing?
i play lidless and the other build when i want to use 2H weapon , i'll give u the trick that every body hate. temerity plus soulbrand, they run like a shako , 20% damage reduction and more damage reduction from the soulbrand to close , and u have to use a 2H scythe to feed the barrier of temerity. and u can run tier 100z , if u have a good paragon board with damage.
Nice! Already augmented this with temerity and running blood mist instead of bone storm. Haven't tried soulbrand yet. Will give that a shot. Thanks for the tip!
I play Blood Lance with a Focus and have zero trouble surviving in a t100. I actually removed it because it wasn't necessary and was capping my damage. It is completely possible to run something else.

yeah I agree. I tried running the build with ubers and the only one I saw as viable was starless skies. I wouldn't run harlequin cause you need embalmer and mutilator plate. which leaves no where to put shielding storm
With a quick swap of your gloves(+ to blood surge) with blood bathed on them and a chest with disobedience or juggernaut... Or even blood artisans cuirass you can swap blood Lance for blood surge for some stupid fun and be nearly invincible. Clears T100 even faster. And you can just go right back to blood Lance when you feel like it.
1question im running this build as well but i see in the planner you use the shadow corpse explosion but here in the video you use the blood one how Come? So i need to use to shadow one or the blood one?
I'm not very agile with my hands (arthrosis) at the moment. Currently, I'm playing with your 'torn' version and I'm having a lot of fun (soon to reach level 99). I'm soloing Duriel, but I'd like to try another build. Which version is simpler to play, this one or the one with the Bone Spear ? ( last video )
I am looking at this and it looks good but my bone spear feels like it hits harder. I want to try this build but I am not sure where to fit in any ubers that wont hurt the build?
how does this build compare to the corpse explosion bone spear build in terms of damage, and in terms of speed? I like both build synergize with physical damage.
I’ll be honest I tested versions of this build up and down and wasn’t super impressed with my own conclusions. Now, I have perfect gear (boots amulet and starless skies). I’ve found starless skies to more than offset the fueled by death passive, so replace sacrilegious souls with it seems almost like a no brainer. I also disliked the auto cast of tendrils - manually casting it gives me way more control and it still has 100 percent uptime after I get my CD reduced. Also was never super impressed with the corpse explosion damage I saw, and it takes so much space in items (2), and is demanding on skill points. Anyone else have this experience? My blood lance seems more powerful with similar clear speeds. Maybe this build is just easier with it being autocast?
I tested multiple variants of blood lance and this is by far the best one, you need to fully commit to corpse explosion. Mine currently sits at level 27 and its a nuke. Auto cast tendrils is great because it doesn't uses your cooldown and its an instant grasping vains multiplier. The things i changed: I swapped blood-drinker with exhumation for more corpse damage and i don't use rathmas chosen instead i went with starless skies. I also use Shako instead of shielding storm and i have no problems surviving.
The build link is completely different than the vid... Update or make your own moba setup with info panels like other creators like Lurkin with his sorc builds.

Selig is almost always a good choice if you find you need more survivability, it's basically swapping damage for defense but I find a tri DR amulet with armor better than selig in a lot of cases if you need sheer survivability that's consistent and never having to worry about being low on resource
I wish it wasn’t such a pain in the ass to gear up for any build. I’ve done 4 different builds this season, before i settled on black river bone spear. I love the idea of blood lance, but the thought of battling affix trash to gather gear makes me want to go back to bed.
I use it all season and it's the best imo... I can kill all bosses in seconds and I do tier 90s all day in hardcore with no problem...I do got a shaco though...
hey brother i want to tell u that the paragon board u r running is all over the place. u missed on a lot of damage nodes about 30% more damage and the glyphs locations on the boards are not good. and i'm looking at ur overpower numbers u can't hit more than 5 million in the tier 100 dungeon. all i see is 1,2 and 3 million. i can hit 24 to 30 million with a wand and i do not use curse and curse bonus damage.
I get what you're saying but black river's strength has been known about for a long time now, as well as corpse explosion. CE is almost a mandatory skill for the amount of multipliers it touches off across nearly every build brother, thus black river is insane strong. Coming from a guy who has been using one since 2 months after the game dropped. Maybe I'm biased because I've played Shadowmist till this season but when I see all the hype around black river I think "wow a lot of the content creators are way behind the curve" not because its taken you a few weeks or a month to figure out the best combo's this season but because you all seemed to be sleeping on black river. I've been using one for a while now so take that critique with a grain of salt if you were bone spear prior to the nerfs I'd get why it may not be top of mind.
Uhhhh, yeah. Any Necro worth their salt was playing BS. It's not a case of them being "behind the curve." It's a case of you previously enjoying a build that wasn't the best, but is now top of the heap due to seasonal re-balancing. It will change again at some point in the future and you will either adjust or stay un-optimized like you were pre-BS nerf.

lidless wall might as well be an uber ... my character is forbidden from having it. I have about 20 dupes of each unique other than lidless. Blizzard really needs to have a unique crafting system. I'd gladly trade 10 penitent greaves for a lidless wall. Anybody who wants to donate some exq blood let me know.
Lol fighting about whos steals which build. Both of u just using Black River with max corpse expl. like 99% of all necro players. BR is CORE of all builds,no more no less. U just can add whatever second skill you want and act like u discovered something huge and new,but all work is done by BR....

Everyone always has "S Tier" in their thumbnail while the builds are critting for a couple million, meanwhile Barbs are hitting for half a billion. 😂 Stop claiming S Tier on these builds.
Barbs are legitimately broken. Using that as your metric is pretty dumb. Especially when you consider crit hitting over 25 mil is overkill. But hey, I guess seeing bigger numbers is exciting to simpletons.

Wouldn't the aspect of Blood Lance be usefull on the Amulet for this build ? Or isn't it useful at all ?

What about using ubers in this build beside shako? Starless sky, selig, grandpapa?
Starless sky is great as it would buff the corpse explosion. Maybe replace rathma's with it

I tried this build when I first got the black river insane damage but my survivability sucked need better gear.
Rolls on chest/helm/legs are super important. Make sure you are rez capping and also make sure you have 12.5k armor
