I have this air conditioner, there's a 3rd one tucked in right next to the first one on the side. You need to pull the first oddly angled one out then the other one is inside right next to it, filters the small side vent.
Excellent tip good to know thanks for watching
There was a smell coming from mine.. and then when I saw this video found the 2 side filters and clean them out.. no more smell. Had no idea I thought the big one on the back was the only one 🤦🏻♀️ lol I love RUclips!
Thank you! I missed the third one and was glad to see you mention it. When I pulled it out it was quite dirty. 🙏🏿🙏🏿😂😂
Thank you. My friend took out filters and I didn't know where to install the smallest filter.
@MiZveRo85 same here the smell lingered at start up but quickly went away and to be sure, from a bit far away I sprayed a deodorizer and just no more swamp smell
It would be helpful if you showed how we should clean the filters. I’m assuming it’s just with a damp cloth.
thanks for the vid! i bought a refurbished one and I expected a bigger filter and glad you explained about the thin mesh filter which i didn’t even know about! .
Glad I could help. Stay cool with your new AC. Thanks for watching.
Thanks I've looked for hours for the top filter after watching this I now know it's only mesh and built in so once again thanks
No problem 👍 stay cool this summer and thank you for watching
I have an ocean breeze with the same filter set up, the one on the bottom has another filter facing opposite way you took out the first one. Doesn’t matter how clean you keep, I still had to take apart the A/C to clean the fins on the middle of it since it wasn’t blowing cold air and it was only coming out on one side of the opened vent but once you know how to do it you’ll be able to service it yourself
Good tip! Thanks for that. Thanks for watching.
I found the 3rd filter as well. Right on the side after you take out the first filter.
Excellent job great tip. Thanks for watching.
Thanks! I wasn’t sure if a filter was missing, but now You have shown both filters are thin!
Yes they’re very thin and you can spray them with a hose to clean them good luck thanks for writing
This was extremely helpful! Thank you!!
Glad I could help. Keep cool.
There’s also a 3rd filter where the 1st filter you showed, it’s hiding however.
Excellent chip thanks
Thanks, Tom!
You are welcome!
Thank you for this. The manual is a bit lacking in detail regarding the filters.
But I could help keep cool thanks for watching
God bless the people in the comments for sure 🔥👌🏽💯‼️
Well that was nice of you
You missed one of the lower filters, behind the smaller lower one. That one gets very dirty and will reduce cooling ability
Thanks for that info. We will have to check that out and make sure that we clean it and thanks for watching.
Thank you for this video but yes It has a 3rd it’s inside where you take out the bottom back one ..
Excellent info thanks for that
There is a three filters ,right be side the bottom one
Excellent tip that is correct. Enjoy your AC and thanks for watching.
Thanks I was putting the filter vertical and was without the filter for 2 months.
Oh you’re welcome thanks for writing
Do you have the names of these filters? Thank you!
They don’t really have a name for them. They’re just the Toshiba filters.
@@TomLeeman ok, thank you!
@@BurntOakSix thanks and stay cool the summer
You forgot the 3rd filter. It’s hidden next to the first one you opened
Excellent tip
was about to say the same lol
You missed a filter. It's smaller than the other 2.
Thanks for the tip
Stay cool
Thank you
My pleasure thanks for watching and keep cool
omg you just saved my ass!
Enjoy your new air conditioner
The manual says there is a third filter but I can’t find it
Its in the area where the small filter is
I’ll have to research that
@@royborrayo2291 you slide out the small filter and it’s inside of that area?
@@USAcumbia yea, it two filter in one area, they are touching in an “L” shape, slide out the bottom filter and the even smaller one is there that has to be pull out, on the Toshiba there are three sets of holes as vents, there is a filter behind each one
@@royborrayo2291 exactly there is the area but it’s empty. It’s sucking air in through that third area but there’s a filter missing. I think they forgot to put it in there
There are 3 filters
Yes, there are I think I only showed two
The filters are too tight and easily ruined. Poor, poor design Toshiba.
The newer models could’ve come out in the last year of much better with the dual hose and self evaporating they’re quieter and you don’t have to drain them. Good luck thanks for watching.
