I have this air conditioner, there's a 3rd one tucked in right next to the first one on the side. You need to pull the first oddly angled one out then the other one is inside right next to it, filters the small side vent.

There was a smell coming from mine.. and then when I saw this video found the 2 side filters and clean them out.. no more smell. Had no idea I thought the big one on the back was the only one 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol I love RUclips!

@MiZveRo85 same here the smell lingered at start up but quickly went away and to be sure, from a bit far away I sprayed a deodorizer and just no more swamp smell

It would be helpful if you showed how we should clean the filters. I’m assuming it’s just with a damp cloth.

I have an ocean breeze with the same filter set up, the one on the bottom has another filter facing opposite way you took out the first one. Doesn’t matter how clean you keep, I still had to take apart the A/C to clean the fins on the middle of it since it wasn’t blowing cold air and it was only coming out on one side of the opened vent but once you know how to do it you’ll be able to service it yourself

The newer models could’ve come out in the last year of much better with the dual hose and self evaporating they’re quieter and you don’t have to drain them. Good luck thanks for watching.
