Yes! Learning how to be good at art itself takes years(don't @ me on that), and making a good peice takes forever. I mean, if editing a few sprites took me about a day, I can't imagine making a full art peice. I would have given at least around 200$ for each of these

I've heard the horror stories that commissioned artist get. Me and my friends that work at a gas station, had a new employee start working. He was so awkward. He does a lot of commissions that admittedly are of good quality. But the subject... was problamatic. You ever hear about that harmless kid tv show Paw Patrol? Well, he seemed to like it too much. Lets just say it wouldn't be allowed on RUclips. This is stuff he liked. The commissions he got would be the standard weird stuff you see, and sometimes something like Charizard from Pokemon. But some of the shit is something like an animal getting to friendly with a vacuum, and then lots of furry stuff.

But to be fair, you're commissioning artists, which means they have other commissions before yours in a cue. They also need time to rest between doing x amount of commissions, because while an experienced artist can finish a commission within a day, depending on the size and complexity of the commission, it can take the entire day, or more than one day. It also helps to send references, it can seriously cut your time in half, it makes things easier on the artist, and you get more of what you're looking for. I overload the artists I hire with references.

Honestly I gotta say I don't feel like their prices are that bad, when thinking about it some of this stuff can be pretty time consuming so I guess you are paying for their time and effort, for some of these people it could be a main or secondary sources of income and with that price they won't be overloaded with to many clients

If this is ever revisited, I don’t what the request details included, but I think if the phrase, “artist’s discretion to appropriateness” or something similar is included, you could prolly get some varied levels of wholesome...might not make it on the RUclips’s tho.
6:30 What are you talking about? Those prices are extremely generous. Only because its on Fiverr doesn't mean it has to cost less than 10 bucks. Usually you can expect that a decent artist charges around 100 bucks for a decent colored full body drawing.
I also said it in one of my comments, but that one charging 40 bucks was doing some really high res images too...
To be honest isn't much of his fault, because a lot of artists underprice their own work, meanwhile on fiverr we have a lot of artists that are asking too much, after seeing a bunch of fiverr artists videos, we can always see the expensive ones not being the greatest or being in the same level as the cheapest ones.
