Yes! Learning how to be good at art itself takes years(don't @ me on that), and making a good peice takes forever. I mean, if editing a few sprites took me about a day, I can't imagine making a full art peice. I would have given at least around 200$ for each of these

Lets just say it wouldn't be allowed on RUclips. This is stuff he liked. The commissions he got would be the standard weird stuff you see, and sometimes something like Charizard from Pokemon. But some of the shit is something like an animal getting to friendly with a vacuum, and then lots of furry stuff.

They also need time to rest between doing x amount of commissions, because while an experienced artist can finish a commission within a day, depending on the size and complexity of the commission, it can take the entire day, or more than one day. It also helps to send references, it can seriously cut your time in half, it makes things easier on the artist, and you get more of what you're looking for. I overload the artists I hire with references.
These artists are really talented and it's sad that they are underselling their art. Damn I mean, the last artists' art is at least worth 70 dollars or more.
I know Joey means it in a sarcastic way and actually really appreciates the artists work, but it gives a bad taste when he says smth like 'That's 8 times fiver drawings' like its really expensive. But to be fair, you're commissioning artists, which means they have other commissions before yours in a cue. They also need time to rest between doing x amount of commissions, because while an experienced artist can finish a commission within a day, depending on the size and complexity of the commission, it can take the entire day, or more than one day. It also helps to send references, it can seriously cut your time in half, it makes things easier on the artist, and you get more of what you're looking for. I overload the artists I hire with references.
These artists are really talented and it's sad that they are underselling their art.
Damn I mean, the last artists' art is at least worth 70 dollars or more.
I know Joey means it in a sarcastic way and actually really appreciates the artists work, but it gives a bad taste when he says smth like 'That's 8 times fiver drawings' like its really expensive. It's sad enough that a lot of people actually think that 50 dollars is too much for a piece of art, when it's actually the least you should pay.
