Thanks for the note; there is a lever located toward the floor between the driver and passenger seat that is basically a pull up or push down for 2wd or 4wd. A light on the drivers console then activates to let an operator know whether the machine is in 2wd or 4wd depending on the shift lever position. Hope that helps!
That’s a good question. I’m 6’3 and height wise inside it’s ok but the dash is a little tight on the knees if going down steep hills or riding as a passenger. If you are operating it I think it might be ok as I’ve not issues or anything. Best way id say is to go sit in one and see how it feels for you. This isn’t really the type of rig like a Polaris for riding around and bouncing up and down but it is a stellar work machine. Used it today to haul 50lb blocks up some crazy inclines in woods 👍
Hi Mark - thanks for the comment! Without having the exact figure in front of me I’d say the whole package there is about 21-22k for machine, and another 2k in extras so probably around 23-24k. This is a hefty sum of cash. It’s not for everyone but I plan to keep this for long time. Many people say “oh I’ll use a small truck” and I probably would if I lived on flat terrain. Where I go a small truck won’t go - maybe a small Jeep would however. The hydrostatic transmission I love for downhill decent control and the hydraulics for all the blade and rake work I do. Thanks again for the comment.
@@jebert34 That's not too bad,,I had a figure in my head around £30,000..The small jeep was also an option,,(Suzuki jimny)but no hydraulic bed for tipping..Plus Kubota make their own engines, unlike alot of the other makes.
For sure. That’s true. I do really like this engine. It’s been time-tested and is very reliable. It’s a smaller hp diesel engine to stay under emission standards. 24.8 HP Kubota D1105 3-cylinder diesel engine w the Hydrostatic Transmission (VHT-X). My trails are like goat trails here - steep and about 6’ wide with rocks. It does a great job on that stuff.
Thanks for the comment - here is a link for the rail system for the bed. www.orangeaftermarket.com/Utility-Bed-Rack-for-RTV900-1100_p_3897.html The rail system is a little steep for the cost as I’ve seen a lot of people make their own, but regardless, this system will fit the x1100c and the 900. If you explore making your own out of metal square tubing and have a rear window guard, make sure the rail system offset near the rear window will clear the rear window if you use the dump bed. You can see some pictures of this offset in the link or in the video. I didn’t have the gear at the time to make my own set-up for a rail system so this worked very well. The in-bed rail system slides into the corners of the box. I added the mesh screen and spray painted the hooks to match the paint scheme of the vehicle. I personally find a bed rail system very helpful whether you make your own or purchase one. Again, thanks for the comment!
You are welcome! Anytime! My goal is to help people with what I can. I make no money off these videos nor do I care about that. Just helping others learn from my mistakes! Haha I should note you may have to have a Kubota dealer order the rail as I think if I recall only dealers can get them but it was pretty easy process. Let me know how it goes if you make one or get one. Take it easy!
Hey Bob - the heating and AC are both excellent. I’ve had this out in the coldest of months and end up opening the Windows the heating is so good. I use the AC as well in summer months. When climbing super steep hills the machine will bog a little w the AC on during the hill climbs but otherwise both are very good from my experiences and well worth it! Thanks for the comment.
You are welcome! I have more footage to upload on the rtv. Summer is crazy and need time to edit. Hope to get a bunch more content up on this. Have a good weekend!
Merry Christmas!
Good to see u again. Thanks for the hello. I’m working on some wood for u! Haha. How is the wood working going?
@@jebert34 I'm mingoing it right now but plan to get back on track soon. Finishing up a miter saw station.
Where is the 4wd button on these? Thanks

So at 6'4, which is the best side by side for tall people?
