Hi please reply, in my flash that small part is broken is there any way I can replace please?
This is the exact issue I brought to my photo store today. I was told to buy a new speed light. I knew there had to be a simpler fix. I am so glad I found your video.
Glad to have been a help.
Legend! Think you just saved me a few bucks. Thank you!
Thanks Bro!!!! you're a life saver. SALUTE!!!
Glad to help.
Great video. I have a YN568EX for my Nikon. It blew over and bent the pins on the bottom of the hot shoe. I'm assuming that's an easy fix, but do you know where I can get a replacement hot shoe rigged for Nikon? I assume, if instead of tightening those screws, I just take them out the hot shoe will come off.
Any chance you did a video on accessing the flash head of the Yongnuo 560 IV. My Flash unit had given up the ghost, and stopped working after doing some test flash on a shoot. I would like to know whether or not I had blown the flash tube. I did write to Yongnuo in HK, but have not received anything back from them.
Thanks Sir,i thought i was screwed but its just a normal thing.
+Caltrixx Brian you are welcome!
I have a AD560IV when I press the test button on the unit the flash does not work or when I put it on the camera the batteries are new
Thank you Sir. I have just fixed the loose flash shoe on my YN560 IV. I lost the pin to the other one but will looking to fix that one too. You have definitely saved me some bucks.
Happy to help.
thanks, you just help to save one of my flash
Happy to help.
Discovered my hot shoe hanging almost completely loose as I was starting a shoot yesterday; found your video and its as good as new three minutes later. Thanks very much.
Glad to have helped.
Thank you so much for the video, I just fixed my yn-568exii with it. I thought it was a major problem. Very happy my flash is back online now..thanx sir
+Kweku Ninson Glad to hear it and happy to help! Cheers.
Hello! I have a quick question. I used my flash attached to the hot shoe in reverse (front side to the back) and eversince it won't start, what could have been the damage to the flash and is there a way to get it working again?
You probably blew one of the fuses located inside the flash. They are small and on the main board just inside the hotshoe. Open it up and have a look. If that's not it then you probably blew a diode. You could use a multimeter to trace the issue if you wanted to.
Works for Neewer flashes too.
will this same method work for my Nissin Digital Mark 2 Di866 flash ?
+Vickie Rogers HI Vickie. It should work just fine as all flash have a similar mounting system for attaching the hot shoe to the flash body. Disassembly may be different, but if you feel confident, go for it.
I have 2 of these!1 of them wont flash and only lights blue all the time as if its recharching!loose connection?
That's what it sounds like. Take it Apart and let me know how it goes.
thanks dude! :)
You’re welcome.
@@RobertHamm I actually continued to use my last one (off camera) with the screw rattling around loose inside the foot of the device.. until I guess it made a short circuit and "Bang" a bit embarrassing as I was down to one flash on the shoot and no remote trigger. So when I encountered the same problem on this newer one I looked up a fix.. I feel dumb as it was so easy.. Thanks again mate.
Glad I could help. Nothing to feel dumb about. The fix wasn’t obvious to me, so when I opened it up to fix it the first time I basically figured I would break it anyway and just decided to go for it and take the loss. I was just as surprised as you to find out how easy it was to fix. Cheers!
thanks I can repair my flash waching you video
+Josue Arellano Glad I could help. Cheers.
Thanks so much for the video! Helped me fix my flash.
+MyNaturality I'm happy to hear that. Cheers!
I didnt know i can do this, sadly my hotshoe already broke.
Its posible to get a replacement?
tk you help me to repair my flash
+SOLRAK 80 you're welcome. Cheers!
Hi Robert, thanks for the tut! I was actually searching for help with getting YN560 IIs & IIIs to fire together. I use radio poppers transmitter/receivers. I have 8 YN560s. After running multiple configurations, looks like I only have 2 that will allow me to fire the whole group. There's one II and one III and if at least one of those is not in the group, nothing will fire. The golden child II can fire everything on multi or M. The golden child III can fire the whole group on Multi. Would you have any tips for getting the other IIs' & III's to fire in their own group of say 4 w/out the two golden childs?
Hello JD, I haven't experienced the issues you are experiencing. However, it's been a long time since I used a series 2 Yongnuo. I have all 3's and 4's and the series 2 transmitter. All work well with one another. Of course, the series 3 are only receivers. The series 4's are transmitters and receivers. I would start be checking that you are using the correct transmitters on your series 2 strobes. The series 3 and 4 strobes by Yongnus work on the 2.4 Ghz radio network. The old NP or 700 transmitters (I don't recall their exact name) worked on a different frequency. I think the NP's used 2.4, but a different channel. Anyway, once you make sure all operate on the same freq, I would make sure to set all to the same channel/group, such as a1, and make sure they all flash. If they don't, you will know it is a compatibility issue with the radio transmitter/receivers. Cheers.
@@RobertHamm Thanks so much for your weigh in! I spoke with a tech at Radio Popper and he's perplexed why they aren't working on Manual mode. Very knowledgeable guy and has asked for pix of the configuration that's working. I'm guessing the main issue is that I am using Radio Popper to trigger rather than Yongnuo's. However, I also am always firing a Neewer portable strobe or an alien bee. Radio popper has been awesome for me for 9 years now so I hesitate to change that reliable factor. Thanks again! ;)
Glad you got some help. Let me knows how it turns out. I would like to know woo!
@@RobertHamm thanks...haven't really gotten any further with getting anything to fire w/out one of my 2 "golden boys" in the mix. Herb mentioned it sounds like I've found the correct 'dialect' to get them to work together and this is what he often sees when combining systems. Do you fire other non-Yonguo lights with your transmitter? I'd be willing to order one to give it a try if I could fire an Alien Bee or Neewer light in conjunction with the speedlights.
You saved me bro
Glad to help.
thank you! you save my life!
You save my life!!!!
I opened it and I was not sure it was!!!

You, sir, are a lifesaver.....
Thanks a lot sir!!!! i wasn't sure that i was able to open up and close my flash without braking it but now i fixed it !! thanks a lot!!
I'm happy to hear that this helped you. Cheers!
thanks so much for coming up with this video. u are awesome! i got my flash working again
Glad I could help. Cheers.
Thank you! Saved me from having to buy a new one!
I'm very happy to have helped. Cheers.
OK thanks I repair once again. But I have a question why happen that if we use flash normally and nice.
Hi Nikola. I think it happens because they didn't use thread lock. Thread lock is like a kind of glue for screws. It keeps them from coming loose during normal use. Cheers!
Robert Hamm I decided to disassemble and dip the screws into the wax and apply them
Hi Nikola. How did the wax work?
Robert Hamm oh nice. Firstly I warm wax and put on screw and put it into place. One on one. It's hard to screw of this moment. But I think it is a better then last times
It's cheap and made in China
