As soon as I learned who Einar is and listened to Wardruna imediately I thought that Ubisoft either get him to do the soundtrack or just don't bother doing an AC game with Vikings. It would have been the biggest missed oportunity in history (as far as game soundtracks go).
Asking Einar Selvik to help Jesper makes it even better. Einar also made some of the soundtracks of Vikings. He's pretty much an expert in Old Norse & Viking music and stories.
Just like with Origins, Sarah nailed the main theme... I don't know if it makes any sense, but the way Sarah creates the theme, it sounds like distant echos from the past, because in fact, that's all we got from those far away times, only echos of their civilization, their culture. It's bloody beautiful. Love her work!

Definitely one of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard, this is just beyond pure epicness. You can tell a lot of work went into this and it has definitely payed off. Well done to the creators of such a legendary OST

The best part for me, is in 26:40. It's like a invitation to explore the nordic lands without problems or worries... I imagine the snow falling to the ground and the sky full of northern lights. Not to downplay anyone else involved on this soundtrack - Jesper and AC: Brotherhood is still one of my favorite video game soundtracks ever and the first time I ever had video game music actually stop me from playing the game for moments at a time because I was too focused on enjoying the music.
The legend, Jesper Kyd, the guy that created the best game OST? And he's working with people behind AC:Origins, Odyssey and TV Drama, Vikings?... I came and more than thrice at that :D

He was a legend already in the demo scene back in the Commodore days, nice to see he's being doing good all these times! So many talent for electronic music were starting up, finding their own style those days :) I'm sure Jesper inspired many others back then.
Assassin's Creed soundtracks are always of top quality. For many hours I have studied and worked listening to them back from 2010. I welcome this new excellent soundtrack.
This is such incredible work. A really excellent collaboration between three artists who all bring an incredibly unique feel to each track, yet somehow they all manage to flow and blend perfectly with each others' styles. My favorite OST since Hyper Light Drifter by Disasterpeace, back about 5 years ago.
I used to play AC a lot, i finsihed a lot of AC games. But I stopped after playing AC 3. It became repetitive, I tried odyssey last year but I was like wtf am i playing. Hated it, not like the AC from back then. But now I tried valhalla and menn.. im in love again xD. The story, the characters, the music, the sceneries, the playstyle I love it all. That Main theme - so much atmosphere .... it its like a homage soundtrack to every amazing Norse story hero. Everything from Skellige isles from wtcher to vinland saga to the Last Kingdom to God of War and Vikings has moments flash before you while the sound plays.
I hope we get another soundtrack release on October, at the same time I don't want it to. What if the next album is a VERY special one? Until November 10th my friends :)

Doesn't have the same awe-inspiring feel Odyssey had, but I love it. And Jesper's AC2 soundtracks are at a whole different level
