Mannie lebok has a great future. Incredible vision on the pitch. With respect, all Mannie needs to do is kick/practice 100 kicks each day before and the 100 kicks after training all over the pitch, Mannie would be in the top 3 no 10’s. Let’s go Mannie, moer those practice kicks Boet

If it was Manie the media would have been on fire and the blame game would have been all over him. Manie still has so much potential. I take my hat off to all the other 10's in the Bok camp. All of the Bok squad is world class.
Agreed. The negative media attention and blogs about Mannie are atrocious to say the least. Someone else must kick but they must play Mannie because he’s actually a game affecter.
Manie Libbok is a great player. We lost to Ireland in the 2023 World Cup because Mannie could not slot the conversions and penalties. If he can sort out his kicking boots, he will be far greater. But Satcha F. Mgomezulu announced himself in a big way and a warning to all Springbok opponents.
We must take note that Pollard was allowed to grow in the bok 10 jersey with no pressure on him. He also disappeared in big games e.g. vs Australia 2021 championships but the guy was allowed by the bok coaches. I think the reality is when marney is allowed like Pollard to grow esp ghe kicking part, Libok will end up the best fly half SA has ever seen in the green jersey. But both are great flyhalves in their own rights.
Manie’s attack and defence is better than Pollards. His tactical kicking is close and maybe better on attack (see France and Scotland game) but his kicking at post is not as good or consistent.
So play Sasha Zulu at centre. His kicking is superb. De Allende can step aside. To leave out Libbok would be plain stupid. He is brilliant and quick. The absence of BMT is a bit far-fetched. Take the goal kicking away from him.
Mannie is a attacking fly half behalf on his kicks...I promise this guy Wil bring out more for the boks... Pick him again in the future please and then you come back to this comment in the future...It was his first world cup... So Thumbs up for the Guy..
Honestly, we've seen it with a few players already, if Manie should go play overseas, I think it can take his game to a new level. He definitely needs to improve his consistency, especially in the big games. Right now, you just can't trust the guy in a high pressure game.
Libbok has quality we need in the bok squad. His passing and running game makes it difficult for the opposition to manage. I want him to be part of the bok set up.
Points well made. And if you Tony Brown you hoping Manie finds kicking consistency cause he’s the 10 Tony wants to pick and unleash. He’s the 10 that fits Tony’s default game plan. I’ve always said all that stands between Manie and 100 caps is 1. Fitness and 2. Goal kicking consistency. It’s not that Manie can’t kick for goal, it’s just that he’s either 90% or 30%. No international coach can afford those risks…
@@nomsa06 potentially they could but it becomes onerous picking a player out of position purely as a kicking cover. You could pick Pollard at 12 but then you losing massive value DDA brings to 12. Versatility wise i see this is how Sacha gets more game time. Jordan has it tough compering with DDA and Andre at 12 if not playing at 10
You saw with the current SA under 20 squad that you need a flyhalf that can run into and create gaps, only kicking is not enough in modern rugby, especially now that the game is changing
Pollard's days are over. Manie should be at 10 and Sacha at 12, and he could kick to goal. But Rassie insists on having the overrated Kriel and DDA at 12 and 13. I hope this changes soon!
Overrated? There may be better players in his position, but Rassie goes by the philosophy that 'the whole is greater than the sum of the parts' i.e. the 15 best players in each position do not make the best team.
I think this is just a minor lull in his Boks career. He's young enough. Lots of competition mean it's easy for Rassie to select another player, I know it's cliché but Manie's kicking having been hit or miss is probably a big factor in the Boks coaches not making him the go to selection. I felt he was getting himself very stressed when taking kicks during the RWC - almost going over the shot clock countdown so often - he looked so worried compared to the cool calm and collected boot of Handré. Definitely succumbed to the mental pressure. Manie Libbok is the real deal, he has all the tools, he just needs to believe in himself and become super consistent. Great video, very fair. Manie will be back, don't worry about that.
Only difference between Manie being the best flyhalf in the world and not even should be making the Stormers team is to just kick the freakin ball downfield instead of crossfield highballs from inside his own 22, especially in wet weather. He's lost a number of games for the Stormers like that, pinning his team in their own half and did the same against England in the semis. That's why I think it was the right decision to take him off in that game. Other than that, inside the opposition half, he is the most dangerous 10 in world rugby. The boks certainly missed the bite he gives the backline on Saturday against Ireland.
Its really not fair for you to declare or pose such a question about Manie's career its definitely not the end of his road its actually the beggining...he cannot be judged by a few mistakes as if he is the first to make mistake..

Agteed his kicking stats are improving and that's encouraging. Simple solution. Mngomezulu at 15 mannie at 10. To soon for that but possible and it may be that Mannie starts in DBN and Pollard sits out that game, if we win Saturday as we expect. Rassie is polishing all the flyhalf options. Fantastic to think that a fuy like Mannie has to fight for a place. How awesome is our depth?
So Handré proved in the Ireland match that he’s human. Played a very good match but missed three very makeable pens….You might say that he missed them just to get some of the whiners in Springbok nation to get off his good mate Manie’s back! Great team guy!
Mannie will have a place in the squad. Rassie will breed another type of team with Tony Brown, adapting to the new rules sat by World rugby Mannie ( attacking flyhalve) as general and Sasha at the inside center, taking over the kicking duties and with x-factor. No number 10 in our country can kick to the corners like he does or kick passes or attack space like he does. When Sasha takes over the kicking duties, Mannie will also play with more confidence. These two players do understand each other's strengths and weaknesses as they play together at the Stomers, and with Damian Willemse at fullback, they will be formidable combination. Handre is a great player, no doubt about that, he proved himself many times before x2 time worldcup winner, but with Willie on the brink of retirement in the next couple of years, I don't see another fullback currently gelling with his type of skills except for Willie they compliment each other in play. The Stormers trio will bring something else, together with exiting backs like Eaton Hooker/ Henco Van Wyk and Moody, who can also cover wing and fullback with the eye on 2027. Let's not forget that if Nohamba gets his chance, he will also bring a kicking boot from nine. So options are a lot, the season is long, and i have a feeling all these gentlemen are going to play this year. We are still at the incoming tour, then championship followed by the end of the year tour. Back in the day, Larkham and Spencer weren't great kicking to polls, but Aus and Nzl were relying on other players in the team. Both Rassie and Tony come from that era. Those flyhalves were the best at attacking rugby, although the same flaw in their armory. When you get Tony Brown in your corner to bring attack within your team, you can be sure he will back players like Libbok, so do I. Rassie will again have a squad for Argentina/home and Aus/Nzl. There's enough players in the squad like your Joe Rolf and Aaron Mauger who can take over kicking duties at this point in time. The future looks bright.
With respect, Rassie could never read backline players, therefor the poor backline play, even during the World Cup. Looking at Jaden Hendricks, completely failed on him debut, not even the Lions pick him as their first choice. Manie is not up to standard, during the URC, therefor it's good to look for other Flyhalfs.
Nobody is destroying Manie , listen to the entire video...., this is a honest account of the current situation, well-done brother your content is excellent 👌.... I hate it wen ppl jump to conclusions, your content is excellent, ignore the haters ....
Bro whats your issue with mannie, the last time we saw most of the boks play was in the rugy world cup.😢😢😢relax i like your chanel but clearly you have an issue
Libbok is currently no.2 fly half, if Pollard gets injured he should be replaced by Libbok. It's a mistake not to have Libbok on the bench. Sacha needs more game time.!!!
Why Manie has to kick at goal. He should just do what he does best and let any other players kick ie the fullback, wings, centres or scrumhalf should do the kicking. It would be sad if his career ends like this, but his competition for the no10 jersey is tough.
Everyone keeps on saying Handre is only better at goal kicking and Manie is so much better on attack, without any clear reasons why. This is fugazi, Handre is levels above Manie as a flyhalf.
If Manie can kick like Hendre he will be the best no 10 in the world. As far as the team is involved, how on earth could Rassie leave out Evan Roos? Kwagga is a no 6 and a very special impact player.
He left out Evan because he tries to do to much on his own .I promise you Cameron Hanekom will be the number 8 at the 2027 world cup .Roos also has discipline issues and you cannot play against the top teams with a guy that gives away penalties on a regular basis.
He is not suggesting it. He is just addressing a question that people are actually asking, because Mannie didn't get a start in the Boks' last two games and new players are being tried in his position. If you had actually watched the video instead of just reacting to the headline, you would know that Jordan actually believes that Mannie still very much has a place in the Bok side.
Excellent account of the current status quo . Fact is Manie must sort out his kicking, great player but kicking is extremely important , reality is he has to improve his kicking.....
lol facts his overrated but people worship him no hate just his not as good as some people make you believe his only reason to be in the team is kicking nothing else
You guys are such fools he was the main guy that won us the last 2 world cups .He does have better defense than Manie , plus better tactical kicks and he can play when the pack is going backwards or not dominating .Can't believe you guy can say that he is only there for his kicking .And by the way he hadn't played rugby for a long time when he played against France so that's a unfair comment .And lastly you two clever guys if Pollard had missed his kicks against Wales in 2019 we would not have won that world cup , plus if he missed one kick in the quarter, semi or final of 2023 world cup we would also have been out of the world cup .He was the top point scorer in the 2019 world cup .I love Manie but he has got a long way to go before you can even compare him to Pollard
What do you mean by saying mentality his mentality is right l think the run out of mentality Pollard defense very weak, attacking skills weak, kick and charge he was not good in club home base players seems to be 2nd stringers
Slim shady you should rather keep your taughts with soccer i mean on what planet do you see the end of manie libbok go back at pollard start of hes carreer he also had kicking to poles on a low give the guy a break and let them play for the posistion Handre had his chance next thing you bring morne steyn back let focus on our fullback i mean willie should just step aside an fassi should play enough games but ja Oom Rassie must be carefull Last check Gayton Mckensie is 100% real an Bizza nie
I think rugby should x the springboks with the way the play in the world cup manie no1 is only good for line kick and corner kick thats all his good for .The thing for me as a south african is that the springboks can only play a line kick conner kick game they cant tackle and play like rugby players .its like they go to line kick and Conner cick boot camp for the hole of the world cup that was all they did the entirety of the games played by them "sies " and then theres the red amber and green robots what the hell is going on in SArugby .Tothink they took that to the world cup sies guys i am disappointed robots in the game rugby guys no man .go back and study the game of rugby befor the next world cup please.
He screwed up for the stormers 2 times in last year's urc final and this year's quarter finals where he couldn't convert kicks into points and as well in the world cup we would've beaten orland had he not missed his kicking so he is history unreliable goal kicker
Couldnt believe he missed that kick against Rochele. Libbok is a good player, but cannot kick. Really, really simple, have someone else kick. There are no rules, no regulations that say Libbok has to kick. It goes against Bok tradition to have his number as the prime kicker.
I don't agree with you on Manie having a higher ceiling. Pollard had a very good attacking game as a young flyhalf. Tony Brown wants to bring that out of him again. Also, Pollard has excellent defence. I'm not sure how you can say Jordan Hendrikse has better defence. BMT is also something players seem to have (or not have) and Pollard has it in great amounts making him the best knockout rugby flyhalf we have ever had (in my opinion). Manie has very good attack and he is exciting to watch but I just think there are too many holes in other aspects of his game. He is a good backup though.
He is unlucky. Pollard is favoured. His kicking has also let us down. Only his best games are counted. His age also lets him down. Pollards weaknesses are rationalized away. Is this raceizim?

SFM is the man. All else is just commentary
you will be disappointed
Manie Libbok must play the for WP send him back to Western Province
With respect, Rassie could never read backline players, therefor the poor backline play, even during the World Cup. Looking at Jaden Hendricks, completely failed on him debut, not even the Lions pick him as their first choice. Manie is not up to standard, during the URC, therefor it's good to look for other Flyhalfs.
Nobody is destroying Manie , listen to the entire video...., this is a honest account of the current situation, well-done brother your content is excellent 👌....
I hate it wen ppl jump to conclusions, your content is excellent, ignore the haters ....
dont see either making it at 38
Bro whats your issue with mannie, the last time we saw most of the boks play was in the rugy world cup.😢😢😢relax i like your chanel but clearly you have an issue
Libbok is currently no.2 fly half, if Pollard gets injured he should be replaced by Libbok.
It's a mistake not to have Libbok on the bench. Sacha needs more game time.!!!
Libbok wasn't on the bench because of the 6-2 split. If you go that way, your 2 backs need to be extra versatile.
@@jkmb5758 I've seen the Province fly-half play outside centre & fullback.
Why Manie has to kick at goal. He should just do what he does best and let any other players kick ie the fullback, wings, centres or scrumhalf should do the kicking. It would be sad if his career ends like this, but his competition for the no10 jersey is tough.
If Manie played yesterday.....se maar net
Everyone keeps on saying Handre is only better at goal kicking and Manie is so much better on attack, without any clear reasons why. This is fugazi, Handre is levels above Manie as a flyhalf.
Manie is very good ,but hes very inexperienced!👀🤔😬😬🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
his defence is not anywhere near pollard
Our boys, Savea & Frizzell bounces Handré off like it's nothing...Lowe barely touched him.
Mannie my favorite bokke ❤❤ he will bounce
Great content 👌 keep it up
If Manie can kick like Hendre he will be the best no 10 in the world.
Manie fan Not manie fan
👇.
mannie would be my first choice
Dude just stop, 🛑 no one believes this is the end of Libbok, for you to even suggest that is crappy.
Fact is Manie must sort out his kicking, great player but kicking is extremely important , reality is he has to improve his kicking.....
de Klerk and Pollard are old-school and getting on. Reinach/Williams and Libbok are far superior here.
i dont understand the enourmous hype SFM is getting even people who have never watched rugby are hyping him
Get down to the Point, Libbok is good , but be reasonable, he will never be a replacement for Polard !!!!
Someone here says Pollard has good defence. He only missed 9 tackles in the worldcup game against France
lol facts his overrated but people worship him no hate just his not as good as some people make you believe his only reason to be in the team is kicking nothing else
The rise, yeah, the fall of Manie is too far . Please rephrase . His career is too young. We have more to see of him.
What do you mean by saying mentality his mentality is right l think the run out of mentality Pollard defense very weak, attacking skills weak, kick and charge he was not good in club home base players seems to be 2nd stringers
No never he will come back to moer whoever else comes upagainst SA
Why is Manie's ceiling so much higher than Handre's?
Everyone keeps saying that Handre is only better at goal kicking. Completely not true, Handre is levels above Manie as a flyhalf
why use such a title for your vídeo then your comments are not assiciated title itself?????
Agree... Manie Lib will never improve as a kicker...
U are killing that guy how why there are also guys that miss even pollard don't dump him he will come back........
I think rugby should x the springboks with the way the play in the world cup manie no1 is only good for line kick and corner kick thats all his good for .The thing for me as a south african is that the springboks can only play a line kick conner kick game they cant tackle and play like rugby players .its like they go to line kick and Conner cick boot camp for the hole of the world cup that was all they did the entirety of the games played by them "sies " and then theres the red amber and green robots what the hell is going on in SArugby .Tothink they took that to the world cup sies guys i am disappointed robots in the game rugby guys no man .go back and study the game of rugby befor the next world cup please.
harsh considering he just won a world cup.
Yeah but his kicking isn't the best and is bad under pressure even in the world cup
@@Donnie-y6kwhat pressure he lost one game pollard lost one game in the 2019 rwc
He screwed up for the stormers 2 times in last year's urc final and this year's quarter finals where he couldn't convert kicks into points and as well in the world cup we would've beaten orland had he not missed his kicking so he is history unreliable goal kicker
Can we talk about how underestimated Elton Jantjies was?
What you smoking dude Elton was a good player not a great player. Can't even compare Manie and Elton
Couldnt believe he missed that kick against Rochele. Libbok is a good player, but cannot kick. Really, really simple, have someone else kick. There are no rules, no regulations that say Libbok has to kick. It goes against Bok tradition to have his number as the prime kicker.
I'm not a big fan of Libbok but for the life of Christ, can we please leave it alone!!!! 🙏
There is 13-14 Tests this year, he has loads of games he will be considered for??
I don't agree with you on Manie having a higher ceiling. Pollard had a very good attacking game as a young flyhalf. Tony Brown wants to bring that out of him again.
Also, Pollard has excellent defence. I'm not sure how you can say Jordan Hendrikse has better defence.
BMT is also something players seem to have (or not have) and Pollard has it in great amounts making him the best knockout rugby flyhalf we have ever had (in my opinion).
Manie has very good attack and he is exciting to watch but I just think there are too many holes in other aspects of his game. He is a good backup though.
Pollard doesn't make a no look pass
@@zwet4269 No look passes, or kicks, don’t win tight games.
Only problem with manieis, that his approach to the ball must be more straight behind ball. How is it possible that nobody can see it.
I like your content but I do not like your captions of the series of videos youve made on the players that have not been selected
He is unlucky. Pollard is favoured. His kicking has also let us down. Only his best games are counted. His age also lets him down. Pollards weaknesses are rationalized away. Is this raceizim?
