- What an absolutely fantastic adventure at Kent Falls State Park! Oh the glorious waterfalls upon waterfalls gushing down the side of this hill. Freaking AWESOME!
Make sure you bring you stamina to Kent Falls State Park though because it is quite the workout making your way up along the falls!

Long time ago when my legs were in better shape my friend and I went to Kent Falls. We didn't hike all the way up like you did.
This video brings back memories from when my mom would take me and my brothers here to swim. Oh how the years past......can’t believe it’s been so long.
It was around 1967 (I was maybe13 years old) and my family was spending a Sunday afternoon at the falls which we had done many times before. I haven't been there in so long but from this video it appears that the river/falls is now fenced off .. back then we could walk the river, swim the first pool and fish the uppers. Well, my dad (WWII infantry Battle of the Bulge) an I were just above the last pool. When all of a sudden, without hesitation, my dad started running down the river, jump from rock to rock, full speed.. I ran after him. The next thing is see is the souls of his shoes diving into the deep pool. I finally caught up but he was gone; seamed like he was under water for ever. As he surfaced, so did another man and they both had a small child their hands. They got the boy to shore.. If my memory serves me, his father was standing on the large rock/boulder on the opposite side of the walking path. My dad yelled "why didn't you jump in"!! The man said "I can't swim". My dead yelled back at him in the loudest voice I have ever heard him yell. "YOU JUMP IN ANYWAYS"!!! That was the day my dad saved a young boys life!
I lived in Connecticut and went to Kent falls often. It was always beautiful 😊😍

It is worth making a trip there in the springtime when the water is really running from snowmelt (and before they charge entry fees too!)
