30 years gone by when he left us but RD Burman still rules. He lives in our heart. He is liked by even today’s generation who are born after 2000. That’s the magic of Pancham da. Hardly any day in my life without listening his song.

Fantastic! My heart is broken again to watch this . Most talented and brilliant MD of the music industry. None will be like him ever. It is strange, when you find that there are so many songs for which the lyricist the singer received the National Award except the MD the great RDB. It is like that the heart and the brain of a song had received their dues but the soul was ignored. The reason not known to us. I think all his songs are still eligible to get national and international awards... I pay my respect to the great human being. I got a chance to visit his residence, MARILAND in North Avenue Santacruz Mumbai.

Pancham da did copy from other songs/rhytms, improvised but punched his extra innovative intelligence, with care, that each melody differ from the other song for which he excelled over & above other composers❤Original Venture Drums & bass chords in combination with shrill sound of the Triple-Congo beat, was heavenly mesmerizing❤whatever we praise, doesn't complete HIS (the LEGENDS) ATTRIBUTES💯🙏❤🙏

Some of R.D.Burman's did flop but they were good films mostly. But if the Films had Flopped, His Music and Songs were excellent and successful. Films like Zameen Aasman, Savere Wali Ghadi, Sunny etc his work were excellent and unforgettable. So if his work is good and successful, the Films were successful or not it doesn't concern him. One of his successful Film in 1990s was Gardish. But it didn't Benifit him.

RAFI GOT HIS ONLY NATIONAL AWARD FOR RD BURMAN'S BRILLIANT COMPOSITION 🎼"KYA HUA TERA VAADA...." IN 🎞HUM KISISE SE KUM NAHEEN(1977)!!! IN FACT PANCHAMDA HAD GIVEN SOME SUPERB NUMBERS FOR RAFI SAAB IN THAT PERIOD WHICH SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED....YES 🎤KISH💎RE KUMAR WAS INDUSTRY'S NO. 1 CHOICE AS SINGER FOR MUSIC DIRECTORS DURING THE ENTIRE SEVENTIES DECADE AND EVEN EIGHTIES DECADE TILL HIS DEATH ON 13TH OCTOBER 1987....BUT THAT CAN NEVER TAKE WAY THE GREATNESS OF ICONIC RAFI SAAB AND HIS IMMENSE CONTRIBUTION TO HINDI FILM MUSIC INDUSTRY .... BY PERIODICALLY DENIGRATING RD BURMAN-KISHORE KUMAR DUO, DIEHARD RAFI FANS HAVE ACTUALLY DEMEANED THEIR OWN IDOL'S GREATNESS BY THEIR MEAN MINDED MENTALITY...THEY SHOULD ALSO REMEMBER THAT RAFISAAB HIMSELF HAD ADMITTED IN SOME QUARTERS WITH ALL HUMILITY IN LATE SEVENTIES THAT " I COULD NOT ADJUST TO THE CHANGING TREND OF MUSIC AT THE ONSET OF SEVENTIES AND THE NEW CROP OF EMERGING HEROES IN THAT PERIOD"....

It is difficult to reason out why RDB did not score with one of the greatest voices of India Yesu Das even after the death of Kishore Da !! He got carried away with his emotional attachment with Kishore Da and continued his patronage towards Amit Kumar who frankly speaking was a much inferior singer in all respect to Yesu Das who RDB should have focussed more to compose high quality songs to be in command in Bollywood.
Also he risked his dissociation with one of the top notch musician, music director, lyricist Swapan Chakraborty whose presence in RDB's musical success was stupendous.
''Vinash kaal mein biprit buddhi'', this was what hit Pancham Da like an eternal truth for many greats.
It is difficult to understand how and why Pancham Da himself did not understand that it was time for him to accept that most of his deliveries were very ordinary since 1985 by his own extraordinary level of quality standards !!
I would rather appreciate the love of Bollywood towards Pancham Da that it accommodated 27 flops from him since 1985 !! I don't think it has shown that kind of love, faith on any other music director !!
