  • YES, AS STEVE IRWIN FOUND OUT, LIKE THE ODDS IN VEGAS, IF YOU KEEP PLAYING WITH DEATH, EVENTUALLY, SOONER OR LATER, YOUR NUMBER WILL COME UP !!!
    I FEEL IT IS ADMIRABLE THAT SHE CARES SO MUCH ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND HER, BUT SHE IS TOO YOUNG TO SEE THE REALLY BIG PICTURE, UNFORTUNATELY MANKIND IS FAR TOO GREEDY, AND BEYOND HOPE FOR TURNING THIS GREED AROUND, THE BIG PREDATORS HAVE STARTED TO DIE ON LAND AND SEA, AND GREAT PEOPLE LIKE HERSELF CAN ONLY DELAY THE INEVITABLE, BUT WE, AS MAN, HAVE POLLUTED AND TAKEN OVER TOO MUCH OF THE WORLD TO SPARE THEIR DEMISE.........HER TIME WOULD PROBABLY BE BETTER SPENT ACCUMULATING SOULS FOR THE NEXT LIFE IN HEAVEN, AND AROUND THE UNIVERSE, WHERE GOD WILL ONCE AGAIN BE IN CHARGE, (AS IT WAS BEFORE HE HANDED THINGS OVER TO evil), AND SUCH GREED WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST, AND NOT TOLERATED ANY LONGER........
    IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO GET WITH HIS PROGRAM AND VISION, THESE BIG AND SMALL CREATIONS ARE GONERS.........GATHERING HUMANS THAT CAN SEE AND WANT GOD'S VISION IS ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS IN THIS LIFE !!! (THE MEANING OF LIFE, REALLY).....
    HOPEFULLY GOD WILL GRANT HER THIS BIGGER VISION OF HIS PLANS, BEFORE A SHARK HAS AN "ITCH OR A TINGLE" INSPIRING HIM TO TURN AROUND, AT LIGHTNING SPEED, AND BITE HER IN HALF, COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF WHAT HE HAS DONE, (EVEN A DOG WOULD FEEL SOME GUILT FOR BITING A HUMAN, BUT NOT A SHARK, THEY HAVEN'T THE CAPACITY), ANYWAY I PRAY SHE CAN SEE A BIGGER PICTURE OF IT ALL, IN JESUS' NAME !!!

    One, she's seen diving with a female GWS. They are much less aggressive than males, which are the ones in most cases attacking and biting the cages.Two, it's good to be wary and think that 10' shark swimming in is going to bite you. It's called natural intuition, and a self-preservation program. Lose it and maybe die.

    After reading many negative comments I decided to give my opinion. keep in mind I have met Ocean in person, I have been in the water with Her and experienced swimming with sharks in the open water in Hawaii (which was a remarkable experience).
    Ocean is the type of person like myself that looks at life with a mindset of YOUR LIFE is not worth living unless you find something that you believe in that you're willing to die for, because the belief is so strong. Its what keeps you focused, its what drives you to do better, it becomes the eternal flame of your very existence. These type of people are above average with determination of facing the Naysayers to give life to their cause. People who have already done so are Galileo Galilei, Albert Einstein, Aristotle, and Martin Luther King to name a fraction of many. I've always been the type of person to be sure I have all my facts before I give any type of criticism towards someones belief system. Naysayers have been wrong many times throughout history and if we were paying attention it would behoove us to learn from the ignorance that has already been put forth before us. Ocean is a very humble woman with a cause that is bigger then herself which i cannot say for most people. She's doing what she believes in and making a change to the world while doing it. She just wishes to share her life experiences. She's willing to die for it. The question is when you die what legacy will you leave behind, what will people remember you for? Are you willing to die for the things you believe? If not why do you believe in them?

      YOU WROTE ADMIRABLY ABOUT WHAT SEEMS TO BE A HERO AT FIRST GLANCE, BUT DIG A LIITLE DEEPER, THE EXCEPTION IS THAT WE ARE HUMAN SO GOD DEMANDS A BIT MORE, WE HAVE NO EXCUSE TO MISS THE BIG PICTURE BECAUSE HE KNOWS HOW SMART WE ARE, CAUSE HE WIRED US THAT WAY, SHE IS MISDIRECTING ENERGY AND THINKING PRETTY TINY AND ACTUALLY PRETTY SEL"FISH"LY IF YOU SEE IT FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE, WHICH HE DEMANDS CAUSE WE ARE HUMAN, WE ARE NOT MADE FOR THIS WORLD IN THE LONG RUN, WE ARE ETERNAL BEINGS !!! YOU WRITE AS THOUGH YOU DIDN'T READ THE TRUTH I WROTE IN THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION, OR AT LEAST DIDN'T COMPREHEND IT, OR FLAT OUT REJECTED IT...YOU WROTE WELL BUT GOD DEMANDS MORE FROM US, AND THAT CAN'T HAPPEN IF WE GET OURSELVES KILLED SEL"FISH"LY....... GOD WANTS AND DEMANDS MORE FROM US IF WE ARE TO COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH HIS VISION OF THE BIG PICTURE, SHE NEEDS TO LET THE FISH GO AND FIND A NEW WAY TO BECOME A HERO, BEFORE THEY EAT HER AND POOP HER OUT LIKE ALL THE OTHERS OVER THE CENTURIES WHO WOULDN'T SEE OR AGREE WITH GOD AND HIS BIG PICTURE !!!
      P.S. SHE CAN STILL CHAMPION THIS CAUSE WITHOUT RIDICULOUSLY RISKING HER LIFE, NOWHERE IN THE FISH SAVING HANDBOOK DOES IT REQUIRE SWIMMING WITH MAN EATING SHARKS, OR IN THIS CASE WOMAN EATING SHARKS, SHE CAN STILL TEACH HER MESSAGE FROM SHORE, OR BOATS, AND EVEN SUBS ETC. AND OTHER SUBMERGED VESSELS, BUT SHE WON'T QUIT BECAUSE IT IS TOO EXCITING FOR HER, AND THEREFORE SEL"FISH" AGAINST THOSE THAT LOVE HER, AND THE GOD THAT MADE HER......

      @@GENETICLOTTERYWINNER- If you want to get all Jesusy on things...
      Ocean is doing exactly what God called her to do for basically the reason stated in the comment you replied to.
      Humans were put here to care for the Garden. That's what Ocean is doing.
      Oh, but it's needlessly risking her life. Now, YOU are questioning God, you blasphemous sinner. How fortunate that God forgives you.
      How many times in Bible were people called to dangerous tasks that risked their life?
      That's right, zero times. God was calling people to do His will and through their faith, he was watching over them. God will not ask more of you than you are capable.
      Ocean has been called to help protect God's creatures. And, yet YOU, blasphemer and sinner that you are QUESTION the work God has called her to do.
      Worse, you suggest that if she dies doing His work, she's needlessly throwing away her life.
      You must have forgotten that THIS life isn't the ETERNAL life that God has promised to His faithful.
      If you believe in God and His word in the Bible, you realize that when we leave THIS TEMPORARY LIFE, we enter God's kingdom and begin our eternal life, free from the worldly pains and temptations we face.
      If you're going to get all Jesusy, go all the way with it. Don't be a desert Christian, picking and choosing the bits that work for you or your argument.
      I hope that if God called you to a dangerous task that you didn't shy away or refuse simply because you didn't have FAITH that you would be following His plan, even if that did result in your earthly death and entrance into the kingdom of heaven.
      Shame on you.

In my dream I got the message that they were afraid of becoming extinct, and hoped to live in peace with humans. Too much stupidity keeps popping up in these comments. To the idiots who bash her for swimming with the sharks, she said it herself that no one should just jump in and go for a swim with them. To the others who complain she is focusing on animals and not people, DO THE MATH. There are 6 billion people on the planet. How many focus on sharks compared to the people who focus on humans. Having a few people focus on animals compared to the others that focus on people isn't a bad thing. I'm pretty sure God isn't smashing his fists saying, I can't believe this girl is focusing on sharks and not enough on Me.
    And finally to everyone else who is whining, this woman is right. I've spent hours reading and researching sharks and they DO NOT LIKE HUMANS as food. Do any basic research and you'll see that sharks require a tremendous amount of fat in order to survive. Compared to seals, whales and other marine life that sharks feed on, we are very small in that respect.
    I'm sure many people have seen survivors of shark attacks that were missing a leg, arm, or piece of their body. If a shark, like a white, was in full-blown attack mode like striking a seal from underneath that person would not be around to tell the story. It's either the mistaken identity cause or the shark so hungry and desperate because there isn't much food for it compared to years ago. So do everyone else on here a favor and stop complaining because this one woman has her beliefs about sharks that you don't share.

      +SoulOStealer +SoulOStealer sharks rely on INSTINCTS. They are NOT intelligent creatures. They are HUNTING MACHINES with one track minds. Go ahead and jump out in the ocean with any shark, great white, tiger, bull, etc and see what happens. They are not cetaceans such as orcas, and dolphins, the most intelligent creatures in the animal kingdom. Cetaceans know what is and is not on their diet. They can swim around us, check us out out of curiosity and swim away because we are not what they're interested in. Sharks on the other hand with their pea brains, HAVE to test bite. That's why EVERY SINGLE VIDEO you watch of sharks when there's a random object floating in the water, they swim around it for a few minutes, and eventually take a tiny bite out of it. Why? To see if it's eatable! Period! Same as the giant crocs out in the Nile river in Africa. I DARE YOU, or anybody else to go and try your logic in that river and see what happens. You'll be ripped limb by limb, torn to pieces by death rolls. Humans may not actually be on their menu as food, but sharks MUST test bite everything, and they will eat everything! I understand and am knowledgeable of the fact that yes they need high contents of fat therefore after biting a human they will most likely go release. But after a bite from any shark, even a test bite can be fatal, rupturing an organ, or severing an artery, in which you're absolutely fucked in that case! As I said, humans may not be on their menu, but sharks are one track mind, killin machines, they will eat anything and everything, and must test bite every object to determine if it's eatable!

    • @Cathee.M.
      @Cathee.M. 7 лет назад +1

      +duchanea But they don't bite everything they come across. They very often swim around fish and other marine wildlife without ever touching them, because they're not interested in them as food. They coexist peacefully with cleaner fish that attach themselves to them and eat the dead skin/parasites off their backs, and sometimes deliberately seek out those fish when they need to be pecked clean. They may operate mostly on instinct, but that instinct is well-designed and doesn't automatically turn them into killing machines. Sharks do a whole lot more than just hunt and eat. And they are intelligent, perhaps not to the same extent as mammals or birds, but there is a grain of intelligence there.
      Also, cetaceans aren't nearly as peaceful as you might think. Their high intelligence also means that they can be very dangerous if they decide to. Dolphins, for instance, can gang up on others of their kind (and divers, too). They have actually been known to bully and pester other animals and members of their own kind into sexual activities.

    • @Jess-sv6iz
      @Jess-sv6iz 7 лет назад +2

      You're correct but they also help balance the ocean with out them oceans would be polluted as-well they help keep dead creature from spreading disease by eating it such as whales and any dead animals that just float around. Another thing they do is prey on seals which is a good thing because if there is nothing eating the seals they would become overpopulated and what do seals prey on? fish less fish more seals its a food pyramid with shark apex predator on top take out shark everything gets fucked up. Less fish = no fish for humans at least ocean based fish. Last but not least most important thing they provide is ''fear'' the fear of entering the oceans this will deter people not all but a lot this is good in a sense. If you think about it a world with no sharks would green light humans to just jump into oceans pollute oceans party's,drinking,littering lets face it they are the guardians of the ocean.

      You're right! But when they ARE interested in something, they will bite it. That's why sharks are found with aluminum cans, tires, rope, and everything else in their stomachs. They're eating machines haha. Different subspecies of Cetaceans follow strict diets. Cetaceans are the most intelligent creatures on the planet and they know what is on their menu. orcas, the most largest, powerful, intelligent predator on earth, has never attacked a human in the wild. Only in captivity. People jump in the water with large pods of orcas all the time in Switzerland, Norway, sea of Cortez, and a few other locations and they swim close to check the divers out and continue on. I dare any human being to go jump in the water with a great white and see what happens. She engaged contact and swam after the shark. If she were to stay in one spot, the shark wouldve circled her, closed in and taken a test bite out of her. That's just how they work. The intelligence of a shark compared to a cetacean is like the intelligence of a rattlesnake compared to a German shepherd haha!

    i was swimming outside the bay of rosas [a few 100 meters off the coast line but still in shallow water] in spain
    and kicked something with my left foot witch was so big it [the kick] moved me to the right
    and it felt somewhat like a cross between sandpaper and those potato sacks [the brown ones used by farmers]
    wondering what it was i turned to look under water ans saw something big several meters away from me in only a fraction of a second , so it was fast and not someting drifting in the midi sea

      @KB-tg7pf 6 лет назад +1

      Both are good points, but there are thousands of people in the ocean on any given day. It's not just luck that most of those people never even see a shark. Sharks can see and feel a lot farther than humans can, and they keep their distance on purpose.

    • @nickm8874
      @nickm8874 6 лет назад +2

    • @EXPEDITIOIN
      @EXPEDITIOIN 6 лет назад +1

      Tim Senna you are so right. Millions of people go swimming. The odds of even getting bit by a shark is probably less than 1 percent. Sharks need our protection. Not the other way around. Totally agree with you

    • @EXPEDITIOIN
      @EXPEDITIOIN 6 лет назад +1

      You have a better chance of getting strict by lightning than even getting bit by a shark much less killed by one. That's a fact, not a myth. Across the US alone, how many ppl go swimming? Millions! How many shark attacks? 4 to 8 every year. How many did? 1 maybe 2. Goes to show the odds of being attacked. You even have a better chance of winning the lottery. I'm an islander off Georgia coast. I've swam these Waters for 44 years. Even seen sharks up close and personal. Not I've been bit. They are not man killers like ppl think. Tell you what, ppl that do get but it's mistaken identity. That's a fact as well. Sharks are our clean up crew. Without them, think how much trash would be in our ocean. We need them as much as they need us.

    • @HondoTrailside
      @HondoTrailside Год назад

      This is a lot of math stupid, of course more people die driving, far more people drive for a lot longer, every hour in the US than swim in areas with sharks in a year. It is totally easy to avoid being eaten by sharks. There are few human/shark intersections. Guy was just eaten alive in front of a beach full of people, in Egypt. I think the sharks are willing, they aren't difficult to catch on a rod.
      It is a long time since Jaws, which was based on a truly horrendous incident, up a river. I don't think most people are going out of their way to exterminate sharks. Contact the soup manufacturers if you want to help the population.

      +tomtalker2000 sharks rely on INSTINCTS.
