Mark (called John Mark in the book of Acts) is known for being a sort of helper to Simon Peter. It's actually Thomas (The Twin). He was the first to acknowledge that Jesus was indeed the Lord and also offered to die for him. Kind of sad we call him doubting as he didn't believe the disciples, yet he knew Jesus and was blown away when he seen him. I find Thomas to be so much more important than what he gets credit. He knew Jesus was the Lord.

Leviticus mentions all the things God considers an abomination and Deuteronomy goes into laws as well, but if you want to learn what Jesus told us to do and not do, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the first 4 books of the New Testament, are what contain the teachings of Jesus. Those are most important. Revelation is all about end times prophecy and Jesus mentions somewhere that if you read that while under the Holy Spirit, and understand what the meanings of those prophecies are, the hidden stuff in the rest of thee bible becomes revealed to you. It was reading Revelation that set me on my journey with God's Word. You might need help with some background info on the allegorical references in Revelation. Daniel gives similar prophecy.

Back when I was Catholic a priest once told me that if I wanted to read the entire Bible to start with the New Testament first and then the Old one second as it could make it more understandable. There is Judas Cave here in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia known as Alqarah Mountain for locals. I dunno if it's true but a lot of Christians visiting there because they believed Judas hid and hung himself and suicide .Its a beautiful cave big rocks formation

Such lies it's just sad. There was no "early church" they didn't rely on a building like the Jews did the synagogues and they just called themselves the way. We the people who believe in Christ are the church the church has existed since 2000 years ago because in order for the church to be no more We, Christians, must be no more. I don't think there is really any debate as to whether or not the Apostle wrote the gospel. From what I'm aware basically all scholars agree that the gospels were not written by the historical Matthew, Mark, Luke and John rather they were written by anonymously different times by various Christians scribes whose names we will never know, and the names were attached to them later.

You can get understanding from the book of Daniel at the last chapter. In the book of Mathew Jesus quotes Daniel about the abomination of desolation and the end of days. please read Daniel chapters 7 till the end. Jesus told us you keep our eyes on Jerusalem. It's all about the Temple. When the daily sacrifices starts. You will be in the Tribulation period this is also the time of the two witnesses. We will be Resurrected to Christ when he COMES down to this earth. Then the sheep and the goats are separated. When we die Christ said we go to the grave or dust and we sleep and we are quite. No one has gone to Heaven but the first fruits and Jesus. No one else. Sorry but the Bible doesn't say anything different. It's a nice story that we go to Heaven but that's it. It's just a Catholic story. We were formed from the dust and we go back to the dust. Why do people want to go to Heaven if its going to be destroyed? Christ preached The Kingdom the New Jerusalem not Heaven. Jesus will lead us 8nto the New Jerusalem after Judgement so we will be with him and the father and the Holy Spirit. There is no Temple there. But we will be safe when God makes the new earth and the new Heaven or the COSMOS or Universe. I believe there was more to Gods plan then we know of when it comes to the COSMOS. Maybe we have other homes there as well according to Isiah. But to me Paul is not an Apostle

You can get understanding from the book of Daniel at the last chapter. It's all about the Temple. When the daily sacrifices starts. You will be in the Tribulation period this is also the time of the two witnesses. When the daily sacrifices stops is when the Antichrist stops it. It will be 3 1/2 years from this point when Christ will return. Those that make it threw the tribulation period are called blessed.
