I so agree with you on this! Moon is quite possibly my favorite Jin song, it's thanks to this song that I realized: 1) Jin has an incredible voice, and 2) Jin is my bias. I really hope he'll perform it live again one day.
The problem with the Map of the Soul ON:E concert is that it was the first online concert during Covid that BTS had, so it was basically an experiment and test run for the company. While we got to see all our favorite performances that we would’ve seen if they went on tour, there were technical issues. Such as the backing track was too loud, some of the mics were soft and some were loud, etc. However, it paid off because all their future online concerts had very little to no problems (sowoozoo and ptd online concerts) Also Moon is just such a fun song with a lot of energy! Jin did so well with this song, and it always brings my mood up when I’m down.
I could have sworn the problems only happened on D-1. Fairly certain I heard him clearly D-2. Though...admittedly...that might have been just my crappy memory and knowing what he sounds like on the actual track...🤷♀

This concert was the first one I got up at like, 4 a.m. to watch and it was so amazing. Others have mentioned that the staging for this was based on The Little Prince, which is why the backup dancers are wearing fox masks. But this was also right in the thick of COVID and I remember being really impressed with how they incorporated masks on the backup dancers for every single song and performance. They all look awesome and unique and not out of place at all. And props to the dancers for the level of performing while masked! (I didn't want to hear anyone complaining about how they couldn't breathe during a 15 minute grocery run in a mask, esp watching behind the scenes of the rehearsals where everyone, including Bangtan, was always masked and going super hard). This is still my favorite Jin solo song because it always puts me in a fantastic mood.

Every time I watch a performance from the Map of the Soul ONE concert, I think about how such a shame it is that we don’t have more live performances of these. I found BTS after 2020 so I am only just realizing how devastating the cancelation of their world tour was. It would have been incredible.

Have you known that Jin actually can play guitar better than piano? He even performed a song with guitar in concert 2015 (or 2014?) and he was so good! Jin doesn’t play much in last few years so new Armies might not know.

The chemistry that BTS have with their fans is so heart-warming to see. And thank you for the video clip of Jin and RM talking about the making of the song. RM is a great lyricist and he is the go-to guy for the other members when they need help with their lyrics. It's also touching to see Jin almost self-deprecating in talking about the song. So good to see the space theme started in Moon, then by happy coincidence continued in their Coldplay collaboration "My Universe", then on to "The Astronaut". Every time I watch a performance from the Map of the Soul ONE concert, I think about how such a shame it is that we don’t have more live performances of these. I found BTS after 2020 so I am only just realizing how devastating the cancelation of their world tour was. It would have been incredible.

Have you known that Jin actually can play guitar better than piano? He even performed a song with guitar in concert 2015 (or 2014?) and he was so good! Jin doesn’t play much in last few years so new Armies might not know.

Thank you so much for this reaction. I love this song and the way the pop beat did not diminish the tender intensity of the sentiments Jin expressed. The chemistry that BTS have with their fans is so heart-warming to see. And thank you for the video clip of Jin and RM talking about the making of the song. RM is a great lyricist and he is the go-to guy for the other members when they need help with their lyrics. It's also touching to see Jin almost self-deprecating in talking about the song. So good to see the space theme started in Moon, then by happy coincidence continued in their Coldplay collaboration "My Universe", then on to "The Astronaut". And just when you'll be wrapping up the Jin-related reactions it will soon be time to start the reactions for V's birthday!
Dude dude dude! Play this song at .75 speed! It's amazing. It's already a great song, but at that speed, it's perfect. Super atmospheric and haunting.
Jin's parts in BTS songs are easy for me to sing cuz his pronunciation is top notch. It's like his parts are some of the first I get.

The stage, his clothes, the masks are inspired by the book "The Little Prince". I think he actually readed the book some years ago, but I don't remember the live or behind the scene. Probably that one when he tells about Namjoon opening an art book after observing him reading
