  • attempting to replace inner and out tie-rod ends on my 2012 Ford Mustang V6. Some parts are common wear parts for 2005-2014 S197 Mustangs, others might be less common.
    Model year are 2010-2014 Ford Mustang, might be similar to 2004-2009 Ford Mustang

    Yeah it sounds like that lol, I think I'm going to replace the tie rods

      haha before you replace the tie rods test them~ lift the tie off the ground and try to wiggle the tire by hand. If you have a lot of play / slop left to right than the tie rod ends could be bad if you have pay from top to bottom than lower ball joint is bad.

      @@shsk8880 yes, if you have play in the wheel when rocking it in and out from top and bottom, it is most likely you have a worn out ball join in a lower control arms. If you have plan in all directions (left - right and top - bottom) it also could be the wheel bearing, but i think that is rare.
