Hey Isaac! Why did you swap the buffer tube for the commando pro barrel on your AMR9? The buffer tube gives better ads and spring to fire, it's the build you used to run.
5:50 I think that the optic chosen on a gun has an influence over its performance, beyond enemy visibility, ads time etc. Some zoom optics on ARs result in more headshots at range (eagle eye on mcw). Having the lowest zoom optic on a smg (iron sight), may reduce headshot probability at long range and increase rotational aim assist at close range. I always use the monocle ct90 because its green outer reticle is visible during muzzle flash and chaotic quick cqb fights. The monocle ct90 never reduced reticle sway, but it felt like it did. 7:15 I use the wsp9 because its reload speed is 25% shorter than the amr9 (3 vs 4 seconds), its velocity is about 100ms faster (700ish vs 600ish), but range is 4m shorter (22 vs 18m). The server tick rate and wsp9 fire rate can mean that you will die in what appears to be 2 or 3 bullets at times. Can be a very fast time-to-death weapon. 12:45 the ram 9 has the fastest smg close range ttk potential in mw3 mp (196ms with headshots).

Just for when comparing weapons in future, if you go onto the weapon you have equipped in your load out and highlight onto another weapon, press LT to get the detailed stat screen up and it'll show you the +/- difference between both weapons
Can you do something like "gunfighting basics" or "how to win more 1v1's / gulag? I loved your coaching series and continue to watch those. I feel like strategy / positioning has always been decent for me and with your videos got better. My K/D has risen from a 0.81 to 0.97 and I'm getting better. I play trios and quads with players that are 1.9 - 2.4 KD and higher (cause these are my buddies) and I get RINSED in the gulag and in most 1v1's.
This is the best Warzone has been since the end of Warzone 1 meta. End of Warzone 1 you could basically use anything. xm4, grau, M4, Cooper, anything. Right now, COD is fire because gun balance is mint. Its all preference. AMR9, MTZ762, BasB, Ram7, BP50, Ram9, HRM, Sva545, Polymot, KVD enforcer ive had success with on ranked. Currently almost Platinum and im only rank 10. I personally dont like MTZ762 and im FRYING with BasB, but thats just me personally. Great time to play because you can use things that work for YOU
Curious why you worry about the sprint to fire and focus on bringing it down with the amr9 but with the ram9 you don’t worry about it as much even though it’s sprint to fire is worse?
@@ApocalypticFart there’s no reason to see what the guns do without attachments when your gonna put 5 on each gun. It completely changes the stats when you do so. Which makes the first 3 minutes of the video you’re creaming over pointless
Strafe speed on that bp50 is wild for an ar. Most I've seen is 3.8 for a viable smg build but this bp50 build goes up to 4.2 and still retains accuracy. Might have to try that.
one thing to keep in mind when choosing between xrk4 and dr6 handstop is the aim walking steadiness. for the dr6 its in 2nd place and relatively weak. for the xrk4 its in first place over hipfire/tacstance spread so should logically have a bigger impact which we probably don't want when we building it for strafe. imo you can even kinda feel it. theres also the chewk angled grip which gives a lotte movement and reduces recoil at the same time. potentially for a little less recoil build will almost the same movement speed and benefits
Solid builds. AMR is still my go to, but the wsp9 and the regular striker built for range are my other sniper supports. I prioritize firing aim stability and range usually, makes the irons easy because there's not much to obscure the view while firing. That said i do tend to get rocked in the high-movement close range fights. Meh, i use the mcpr explosive usually and it's a one hit to the chest out to like 50m, one hit head anywhere past that. Slow velocity but totally doable in the quieter environments. The katt is the other I use, does the job. I did notice something interesting, if you build a shotgun for velocity, then add explosives, and put on the daunt scope, it loses the shotgun bloom effect. It actually becomes accurate. Low velocity and tons of drop but it does actually hit past 50m without random bullet spread. Been having fun, it's like playing the hardest sniper in the game haha, and at big distances, 75m or whatever, it does take several shots, but inside fifty it's a 2 hitter. Even the riveter with slugs is a 3 hit torso out to 50, and the daunt scope means it hits where it's aimed.

I feel you on the iron sight thing with controller. It’s particularly bad in the gulag now where they are all iron sight and a laser that giver away your positions and I find that laser blinding…
For sniper support, try this throwback…. M13B with Casus Break, DR-6 handstop, 45 or 60 rd mag, MK3 reflector, M13C Factory Stock. Laser beam with fire rate almost identical to the AMR9
If you didn't get the camo he's using on iron sight guns, there is a camo you can get with the BP 50. Just get 50 kills with it and it will be in the retro category. It's a solid bright blue camo. The name is Ice Cave.
Man, that BP50 tac stance strafe/ADS speed saved me in several fights last night... hard to beat. Slightly more limited in Quads with the 45 round mag, but nasty none the less.
I need help with movement. No matter how much I practice I always get dead slides and it never looks cool like the pros. I did all the practice drills and still I’m a bot 😂
try music or something in the background dude - i have mad add/adhd and when my racing mind is distracted so i can easily just be fluid in game idk how to describe it maybe it’ll help you out a bit worth a try
I don’t think a slide cancel negates sprint to fire. Especially since most people have auto tac on. Exception to this would be if you ads while the slide is happening
Striker9 gang!! The TGD one w/ high grain rds is crazy.. not sure where it measures up ttk wise, doubt it’s quicker than hrm9 or amr9 but the ads x steady recoil I hardly miss shots which ends up balancing it w/ the guns mentioned above. Like you said it’s just one of those guns that feel good in your hands and I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt the same way about the AA.. on the stricker9 in particular it’s feels like it’s just tracking people

This is a really good video, full of information that I needed. I gotta say though.. Still a bit annoyed they shut down Warzone 1. It would be a nice option to occasionally pop in and have a quick game, then go back to this Warzone whenever you felt like it.
As far as warzone meta goes I feel like we're in an okay state, sure 'meta' kinda kills the fun and I would LOVE a no loadout BR mode, at least we're not in a DMR MAC-10 like meta, theres at least 3-4 smgs that are top level instead of just 1.

@IndelibleHD long range meta is so boring right now IMO. I think every AR could use a buff other than the Ram7. Maybe not the burst rifles, but holger, mcw, bp50 and mtz all should get a chance to shine before everyone quits the game which is already happening.

A little too much vertical recoil for me on that first amr9 build. I swapped in the bruen pivot vertical grip and it seemed to help a good amount. Great content man

Our strafe build is ALMOST the same. I use the CON30 Padded Stock right now just so it moves faster, but I bet the MOAT would make the recoil way easier to use.

I like your stuff man, but I gotta be honest. Months ago you gave a tip for semi auto guns to turn on "hold to fire" or something like that. I had that on for so long, not realizing that it makes your ability to tap fire WAY slower than with it disabled. So for 3/4's of the MTZ Interceptor meta, I was handicapping myself.
You never once looked at how slow it was firing and thought hey I can tap faster than this, let me turn this setting off and try it out? These videos are great but you really shouldn't stop thinking on your own.
@AdrianDWolfe maybe you should have thought on your own before posting your comment. I can outclick every single semi auto rifle in the game. The mtz is often noted for its slower fire rate than other semi auto gun. And a top 250 player is recommending to turn the setting on.... I wasn't just holding the trigger, I was still tapping. I had set that setting long before because iceman recommended it for burst guns. How TF am I supposed to know it slows your tapping fire rate.

Stick and move , don’t plate sometimes only put in one or two and turn back and shoot don’t let them plate and move
if they're really holding hands/stacking you dont take the fight, make them chase you and wait until they get cocky and split up looking for you.

The iron sights on the wsp9 are sticky also, but as soon as someone lays down, you can't see them even when hittiing them

It's the Ether Wave camo you get for completing MWII's Raid Episode 4 on veteran difficulty.

Hey Isaac, if you put all meta attachments on the guns. Ram 9 kills the fastest no sprint to fire. Hrm9 kills the fastest with sprint to fire.

Yep BO1 was best. 1 attachment or 2 if you ran warlord. Galil with suppressor and extended mag, chopper gunners all day.

The Uzi is criminally slept on for sniper support but that’s good for me that it won’t get nerfed anytime soon.

the AMR9 feels sluggish for me in most of the situations ...dunno why :D prefer ram9 or HRM.
Our strafe build is ALMOST the same. I use the CON30 Padded Stock right now just so it moves faster, but I bet the MOAT would make the recoil way easier to use.
update, half of my builds in my discord are within one attachment of yours. Love that I've watched these videos so long that I build guns similarly. LOL

Did they take Commando Pro Barrel off of the AMR9 as an option? It is not available as a choice and I have it fully unlocked.
The striker doesn't have a factory stock as an option ... Hmmm or a 50 round drum .it's a 60 round drum. Look at your screen shot of the striker 9 final

IceManIsaac, PLEASE make a tutorial video about how to change imputs from M&K to controller. Even pros are doing it (like you did). Please each us how to do it, so it won't take too long. I never played with contoller my whole life, but looks like I don't have a choice anymore. Please help us!

I ran bp50 with ram 9 and stalker... My movement was wild but I wasn't shooting anything pasted 30 meters.

I like your stuff man, but I gotta be honest. Months ago you gave a tip for semi auto guns to turn on "hold to fire" or something like that. I had that on for so long, not realizing that it makes your ability to tap fire WAY slower than with it disabled. So for 3/4's of the MTZ Interceptor meta, I was handicapping myself.
You never once looked at how slow it was firing and thought hey I can tap faster than this, let me turn this setting off and try it out? These videos are great but you really shouldn't stop thinking on your own.
@AdrianDWolfe maybe you should have thought on your own before posting your comment. I can outclick every single semi auto rifle in the game. The mtz is often noted for its slower fire rate than other semi auto gun. And a top 250 player is recommending to turn the setting on.... I wasn't just holding the trigger, I was still tapping. I had set that setting long before because iceman recommended it for burst guns. How TF am I supposed to know it slows your tapping fire rate.
What about TAC stance? Because that "ADS" is sooo fast
