i’ve found that throwing knives are insanely good for dealing with zombies in zone 3. i’ve grinded out entire games without a gun in zone 3 using just throwing knives and juggernauts
I just love having a gun in tier 3. So much more satisfying. But I can see the appeal of just going in ASAP!

Respectfully I don’t mind using throwing knives tho I feel more satisfied using a breacher drone or Semtex to absolutely turn every zombie around me to red mist
Decoys and wsp run as fast as fist 200 mag
They nerfed throwing knives with the update they had earlier or what ever, its now 3 shots for 1 t3 hound
I find that it's more beneficial to go straight to the yellow zone and start doing deliver cargo contracts as soon as you spawn in as you don't need to fight anything, and you often get both a large bag, and a 3 plate in addition to getting perks, kill streaks, and upgrade crystals as rewards. In the event that you still need a large bag or vest, as long as you got some decoy grenades, that's an easy trip to the buy station.
I’m actually surprised that you can just buy the durable mask for 10k. Might have to do that next time.
@@adjcsee4476 honestly, there is no reason to use one. PHD flopper is 2k, makes you immune to all explosive damage, kill streaks, gas from the spores, and the ather storm. Sure you use up plates while you are in gas/storm, but you also don't have to worry about that damn gas mask animation.
If you begin the game with a juggernaut score streak then there honestly no reason to waste time in tier 2, but if you don’t then I agree that you should do cargo contracts in tier 2 until you can afford a jug in tier 3
I envy you. No matter how many deliver cargo contracts I do, I always get BS like a perk, an ammo mod, or turret circuit board.
@@gmart3290 yeah but if you are starting with that, you unlikely lost everything and are starting from nil. If I have a 3 plate and decoys, I'm going straight to red. If I don't have anything, I'm gonna farm some yellow delivery contracts.
Good tip for recharging field upgrades. You can shoot 2-3 cysts and it activates a wave. Then you can run over to camps and merc strongholds use your field upgrade run back to a nest or infested stronghold recharge the field upgrade and rinse and repeat and you’ll get your 10-20 merc kills for those field upgrade missions in 1 game.
its more efficient to just do a zombie based contract. you can't waste time doing shit that dosen't score more loot and cash. you need to be time efficient every match to spawn in powerful every match.
I legit did this yesterday. I found a merc camp that was pretty close to a zombie stronghold and said “wait this is perfect”.

Tip: between zone 2 and zone 3 in the river, there's an underwater loot cache right by the dock. It spawns in juggernaut killstreak often and other items.😊

Tip: If you have 2 guns and don't wanna drop either for tier 3 but you have something like a juggernaut or precision airstrike score streak, hold it out and run instead
It actually gives you infinite tactical sprint so its better than running with knives/fists which increase your speed

@@redduckto he meant that you should take the killstreak into your hand but not use it, just use it to run faster (if you‘re holding a for example a smoke grenade to call in a streak you run quicker than with your guns out)
MWZ is a lot better than I expected, I thought it was gonna suck because its not round based but Ive been having a lot of fun grinding the act challenges and going for schematics

AAA title and you get disconnected constantly, rubberbanding, package loss, latency problems, utter trash, Activation is awful.

@@TheVagabond2828 I wanna say I dont have these issues but I do, and my internet is usually perfect. Rubberbanding is the most frequent problem I get.
If you're a decent enough player, you can just go to the red zone immediately. Throwing knives and decoys are pretty much all you need to survive there. Stick to rooftops to avoid zombies and hounds. You can outrun zombies with your fists out, no need for perks like stamin-up, but if you have one, it surely does help. Use throwing knives to keep hounds off your back and always restock. You can also find a lot of loot caches on the rooftops with lots of goodies, but you'd ideally want to find turret circuits. Do the cargo contracts, bounties, and spore contracts. You can take out the spores with just the throwing knives, use turret circuits or buy juggernauts for bounties. In the end, you can just throw all the money you accumulated from these contracts on the buy station in the red zone. 3 plates, self revives, large backpack, more juggernauts, etc. You can typically get in and out fully kitted in 10-20 minutes, but I like to stay longer to find legendary drops.

I would argue quick revive is essential in tier 3. It gives you a 50% increase in health regen speed

What I've discovered, but still need to test more, is with Depth Perception using Armor Piercing Rounds, you can shoot the Cyst through walls from outside the buidling. Granted, they have to be on the wall closes to you from outside. It doesn't seem to penetrate further into the building despite being able to see them.

i did that to kill zombies and mercenary but i couldnt hit the cysts
@ussf-unitedstatesspaceforc7541 Same. I always kill the mercs before opening the door for an ltv and I'll also use it to damage a bounty before it can retaliate. Not once has it ever worked on cysts despite trying it every time hoping it does.
Most likely it's a balance thing. What would the point be if you could just stay outside and clear the building? It's the same reason mercenary strongholds don't actually have any mercs inside them until you unlock them. You could clear them from outside when you do unlock it, but you have the reinforcements to deal with while you do

I learned this the hard way. Grinding. That said, there are a whole bunch of great small tips in here I had no idea about. Like ammo cache renew your gas mask. Man, I gave up a couple purple one's not knowing that.

btw, an easier way to get a durable gas mask is fighting the mercs in that one contract that has a skull face with a hat i’m not sure what it’s called. but during the timer countdown those marks have an extremely high chance of dropping a dura, there will be plenty on the ground and ofc u can just cancel it and run afterwards
Fastest route into zone 3 and land pretty much anywhere in there for simplicity, are the 2 cranes at the nakatomi/highrise tower. always use them and pretty much pinpoint land on anything you need in tier 3

Looting is underrated in this game. I've found everything from a green aether tool to a purple one inside toolboxes, green weps to legendary ones from lockers and caches, to 3 plate vests from random boxes
I knew the tips already, but subbed because of that calm and soothing voice of yours XD
I went to the red zone solo shortly after release of MWZ, with my fresh rookie operator. It didn't go perfectly to say the least, so after a spent self revive and a panic dive into the water I've mostly been staying away from there. I definitely need some encouraging videos like this to show me it's not that bad :)
Pack-A-Punch Crossbow with thermal tips . No secondary so you can run fast. I was the same way till I tried this strategy and it works everytime. Make sure you get speed cola/ Jug/ stamina up and you can run around in tier 3 the whole game farming contracts. Decoy grenades are a necessity also. The only thing you can't outrun is dogs but you get far enough ahead of the zombies just turn and shoot. It's always good to run ather for field upgrade. And it dont hurt to have a selfi. I hope this helps you.

For those who don’t know, if you exfil with the juggernaut equip (not using) you will take it into you’re next game where if you exfil with it in you’re inventory you will lose it
How do you do "juggernot equip" without equipping it and using it?
@willmahan4161 He's trying to say that never exfil with any killstreaks in your inventory, the only way you'll have them the next game is equipping the killstreak, and equipping is just putting it into the slot where they're ready to use
If u don’t know after playing 1 game of zombies u need help 😂 the exfil screen literally shows u that u lose everything that’s not equipped. LITERALLY ONE GAME WOULD TELL U THIS
Tbf there is a logo on the item name if the item is exfillable (dunno if it's a word but it just means items that can be exfilled for next game). To be exact there should be a double arrow up on the item name so that you won't need to know if that said item can be exfilled or not.
Great vid. I personally feel death perception needs a lil buff. Or only shows containers and not loot too. It makes strongholds REALLY a lot.
Id also like to point out if you are struggling to get a ray gun schematic you can just do the cargo delivery mission over and over till it shows up

Honestly they need to make gas masks last longer in mwz, it feels like you take on 1 infested stronghold and you need to get a new gas mask. Also whenever i run in with phd and a grenade launcher I always take 10 tick damage randomly because of the nest crawler things, really annoying all around especially as it avoids armor and there is no visual object to tell you that there is an AoE there either.
Its a Playstation exclusive glitch lol just like the garage doors not showing up in the gas stations

Solid tips! I didn't know about going through the rings for depth perception.
Most can work but I would recommend 2 tier 1 contracts and a tier 3 more specifically the cargo and if it not there go to the escort contract then cancel it after the cargo contract mostly spawns and just buy a large backpack, juggernaut, whatever streak you feel like is the best for you as well as durable if you have extra points it’s even easier when there’s another team there killing mega abominations or do it yourself with the turret it mostly guarantees a large backpack

I haven't checked to see if anyone said this yet, but the RGL is amazing for those spore buildings. Takes out multiple spores and zombies with a single blast. You can usually finish them off completely without ever stepping inside
RGL combined with PHD flopper is an OP strat. Also great for soloing strongholds etc. easily :)
How much angst I've felt trying to find another gas mask when you can just refill from an ammo cache, great tip and great video very efficient!

MW3 Zombies is aight.. just wish they didn't have that damn 45min time limit and I hate that the zombies don't show up on the HUD map.. there are multiple times where you're shooting up Zs in front of you and all of sudden Z's spawn right behind you smackin you around sometimes almost trapping you.. anywho.. love the good ol' days of taking your time lootin and gettin supplies for crafting.. round base was cool but got more challenging in higher rounds.. I have to say I did enjoy Zombies in cold war and Vanguard due to the take your time pace and also with each new round or each new map you get to keep your pack-a-punch modded weapons but with this new zombies once you exfil that's it I think, no keeping a pack-a-punch modded weapons at least from what I've experienced 🤷🏻♂️

Doing this now, I got a little daring and brave because the lockwood 680 gives you a bravery boost somehow, and I managed to run my little legs outta there with a ray gun schematic along with a flawless aether crystal, yep doing that again but with a brain rot shotty because I can farm the stormkeeper and aboms now

I’ve beat this entire zombies game, every schematic, borealis camo, almost all calling cards. Easter eggs,worms, story… and I’ve never knew or even heard about that depth perception through the rings trick, or that loose change in the perc machines.. Wonder how many more tricks like that there are in the map. That no one’s found yet. I bet you can get every perc in the game by doing little tricks through things like this throughout the map.
About the loose change it's a veterean tip since the first zombies with perk colas in black ops, about the perks colas you can get it all for free doing things.
How did I not know the ammo caches give back gas mask charges.. game changer for me.
Basically all you need to do is take out merc camps and go to the strongholds with the keywords, they give you a guaranteed 3 plate vest. Also check all of the lockers you come across, these have a high chance to give you a higher rarity rucksack.
Bomb drones always work wonders the best against shield boys and do moderate damage to tier 2&3 zombies…I’ve always had great luck in finding large packs and 3 plate vests in lockers so I always check those when necessary.
bomb drones do not exist in MWZ they are exclusive to Multiplayer and Warzone

Weirdly I like disconnecting in the moment it sucks but I always have fun resetting and getting everything back again and I basically never die to zombies

I did this earlier after a disconnect, and guess what happened. Another disconnect. Had to just stop playing after that, F this game lol.
They really need to add some loot protection or something for the disconnects... There is no way they can't see when almost the whole lobby times out with high packet loss etc.
@@MellowVibesRadio yeah. Even worse when it happens before you've even loaded into a game, or within 30 seconds of a game. They should be able to recognize the difference between dying, leaving manually and disconnecting by now. It's 2023 ffs not 2005. So frustrating. I just got all my stuff back then I wanted to play again but thought maybe I'll just do something else and not risk it happening again lol. It's actually at the point where it's making me not want to play more.

Sometimes when I infil with a full backpack of tools, crystals and cans to get a good start... super frustrating :/ I'm trying to keep a level head since I love the game mode, but I might reach a point where I just give up if this keeps happening.
@@MellowVibesRadio yesterday I started with legendary tool, pap 2 crystal, 6 perks, 3 plate vest, large bag, jugg suit, self revive, durable gas mask. All gone without even loading into a game. This shit is unacceptable and more people need to talk about this so it gets fixed. You can't implement a loot system like this and have zero protection in place. It's incredibly infuriating.

Just use PhD Flopper for aether nest .. spores counts as explosive "splash" damage so PhD Flopper will protect your life and you can save your Gas Mask. It just takes shield away when you don't have the mask equipped

Mainly for me, I'd go for the 3 plate vest, large rucksack, self revive and optionally a kill streak.
The way i lost my gear was stupid was fighting an hvt with my teammate and i just fell through the floor and got trapped

Week 1 was the best experience. After the updates it was obvious they nerfed the red zone, and reduced spawns around the map, and even dumbed down the zombies. Red zone is now like tier 2 during week 1.
@@Zii73 nah, it was very noticeable after the update. Now you can walk around the red zone without being notice or zombies spawning around you constantly.
@@tosh2613 no you can't. I get into the red zone and it's suddenly a running and freerun simulator lmao. No way is it "easy" to just walk around in red zone unnoticed. Maybe on the very edge where there's nobody but in the middle it's pretty lively.
@@Behold__Optic_Blast walking through triggers spawing, if you parachute into the red zone you'll be unnoticed, be able to loot buildings and such, was never like before the update.

When you raided the stronghold there was a durable gas mask right next to the safe and you ran past it. I was just internally screaming at you to pick it up lol

Mostly any weapon can shoot through a wall or door. If you have death perception you can shoot eliminate targets through walls.

I absolutely love the zombie, I just hate how some games are laggy and even get kicked from the server and lose all your loot, so annoying
I came across a 3 plate vest recent on that same merc camp where you spawned, the spawn rate may be small but its possible for it to spawn as it did for me
I wish they would add some kind of in depth tac map filtering. As a new player finding different things like pack machines or anything like else can be a hassle because of all the clutter

Great video! I personally just do tier 2 cargo runs, I got a 3 plate vest on my first run and second a large rucksack. No killing required besides smashing in zombies in the LVT

Kind of a Newbie Question, but is there a Graphics Setting i can use to see Cysts more easily in Aether Nests/Strongholds? I can see everything just fine when i'm sitting just outside of the Nests but the Moment that Gas Mask comes on, i can barely see anything lol.
It's particularly hard to see in some of the Bigger Buildings.

Hi doughnuts what are the odds i watched this and then my very next game 15secs in the whole lobby gets booted out lol from hero to zero.
A good tip Ive seen is to do about 2 contracts in Tier 1 until you get 5k essence. Then look at you map at tier 3 for a wall weapon and make your way there. If its a legendary buy it. Itll be stronger than a PAP weapon and your good to go right at the start.
I never considered that 🤔 I keep a lot of aether tools in my stash but doing like you said would make it better to keep crystals stocked instead
Except itll be an objectively bad weapon because wall buys have always sucked
@Zaneviscor I tried this yesterday and wall buys are definitely still pretty shitty. The Holger 26 I got off the wall was seriously garbage. Every legendary I've ever got out of the box put it to shame.
@@ObnoxiousCamoToe yes bro the box is 1000x better no guarantee for legendary but youll only get epic and higher (legendary and ultra) from the mystery box and it only costs 950 and it can spawn wonder weapons too (which are bad ngl scorcher does no damage to specials/elites and the WünderWaffe is also pretty mid but it does actually destroy disciples so theres that
@Zaneviscor I remember back in the World At War days almost never buying a gun off the wall. Most of us would only buy a wall gun to farm some points. Now that damaging zombies doesn't give you points they're basically useless.
Also worth noting that late match every weapon in the box will be a legendary. Which really doesn't help much, although I did use that as a way to get guns to level up, screw using a gun without any attachments if possible.
