Hey Peter, great job fixing the zero turn but I was listening to your video the electric PTO is making a noise on that I could hear it and I’ve turned wrenches, all my life. Yes it’s a good machine but I don’t think it’s going to last long haul that’s for sure. I’m glad I have my John Deere love it runs great to 5 acres, once a week I cut it. Awesome machine I think you’re better off looking for a Kabota great video as usual.👍
Dean nice to hear from you, I hope you are well. I'm on a new medicine and my energy levels are backup. I'm still fighting the knee. I thought your zt was a toro...i thought i saw in the garage. Be safe.
@@maraudermitchelli Hi Peter, no I don’t on a zero turn I was repairing it for a friend of mine but I’m sorry to hear you’re on medication for your knee. I hope you get better nice hearing from you as well.
You are supposed to remove the silver screw on the side of the front wheel spindle housing and install a grease zerk to grease the front wheel spindle bearings. Read about it in the owners manual.
Remove the black cap on top of the front wheel bearing spindles to keep from pushing the lower seal out of the housing due to the pressure of the grease while pumping the grease.
Chris my brother told me that after I posted my video. Thank I will read the manual I greatly appreciate your help. Grease fittings all o er this machine not sure why none on spindle. Thank you
@maraudermitchelli
Don't forget to pop that top black cap off before you start pumping grease so you don't push the lower seal out. There's no grease in there, so it will take a lot before it shows up in that top bearing. When it shows up, take your finger and wipe a little grease on the area under the black cap to avoid rust there.
A fellow ISX3300 owner.
:)
Nice looking property. Lot to mow for sure.
Thank you I'm behind schedule...thank you for commenting.
I think the front casters have a plug/bolt that you are to remove and add a grease fitting, then grease and replace the bolt.
I know exacting the bolt you're mentioning...but when I took it apart I don't think that's what it was for....but I can't remember I'm sorry. Now it's bugging me I have to look into that further. Mow safely and thank you for helping
I took out that same bolt and put a grease zerk in each side of mine
Thank you sir! You saved me too. I got mine covered under warranty too thanks to your tip. I also was at around 150hrs. Same pulley as you.
I love these Versa Turf tires!
Which dealer did you buy your mower from and were the versa turfs already installed?
I called Alexander and talked to Ken, great guy! I too would shop there, but I live in KY. lol
Alexander equipment and Ken is a great guy. This mower is awesome...I may buy another we'll see. Mow safe and in peace.
Catfish or carp? Too bad it wasn't a muskie! Great video, Pete. Any updates on the plans for a new garage/workshop?
Years ago we had a large carp...16" it hug out under a neighbors bridge. He watched a Harron kill it and carry it away. That was fat fish probably about 30". The garage is on hold for the next six months. We are still debating.
Not sure you balanced the blades prior to reinstalling them. Another great informative video.
I did not balance the blade...I know. I try to keep the sandy swipes the same on each side of the blade...I hope that's ok I should've mentioned that.
Great fix Pete!! Give yourself some more credit man, you’re a really handy guy and you have excellent taste!! U also do have your manic mow sessions when you try to qualify for the Daytona 500 LOL 😂 prob not the easiest on your mower haha! You shud do a collab video with Dirt Monkey!! Go Marauders!! 😎💪🏽🤙🏽
James you know me well, this machine takes a beating and keeps working hard. Thank you I'm always open to collaborations.
as always awesome stuff huggggeee fan
Thank you John for joining me on this fix...be safe.
Have you leveled the deck? In order to get it 4 inches in the front the right front turnbuckle has almost 1/2 inch more thread than the left front.
Yes I purchased a tool from the dealer to level the deck...it had to be done. Mow safe.
Time to trade it on a Scag. I have a Turf Tiger 2 for 10 years. Not one issue. Bullet proof.
I discuss that at the end of the video…can’t match the Ferris ride…but the scab is a legendary mower and quality
@@maraudermitchelli I do love my Scag, but you are right about the ride. It rides like a hardtail Harley Davidson.
Thanks for posting. The same pulley went bad on my Ferris deck yesterday. I sure hope it's as easy as you make it look! Great video!
What size blades does it take? Wanting to get some XHT blades
I do not know what size blades this mower takes. I ordered 1 set from the dealer and searched Amazon the model and order more sets. All of them worked well. Search the model make and year. Mow safe 🙂
How many hours on your machine?
Over a hundred now maybe 140 be safe
