Pleasant smooth voice, focus on the essentials, stylish video editing, and a really remarkable audio quality (heard with good headphones). In short: Perfect short review. Thank you!
Very nice review. I have the BT20A Pro model along with the V3 and the TB10D. Sounds like you prefer the sound of the BT20A Pro? I think I want this just for the VU meter. Haha! It's on sale right not for $71 and some change on Amazon. I'm an electronics hoarder so I may pick this up. My wife is going to be soo happy. Haha! Thank you for the great video!!! You earned a sub!
I had one of these but sold it . The VU meter was set so low it doesn’t move at lower volume . I bought a BT20A which is more powerful and sounds better at low volume . I also bought a DOUK VU meter which works well and looks terrific.
@@simoncullen7960 BT20A or the PRO model? If it's the PRO, not surprised that it sounds better with the better amp chip and bigger power supply. I'm thinking of throwing the TB10D on there to compare it to my MC101 (yes I bought one and I love it). So far the MC101 is powering my not so easy to drive Wharfedale D320 bookshelf speakers (dip below 3.8 ohms) with ease and doesn't get hot and produces really nice bass. And it looks amazing. It really has exceeded expectations.
I have two old amps, one an Old Onkyo 600e which is MASSIVE and a NAD 304 which is playing up, was thinking of ditching both and buying one of these! Your review is good and i wont need massive volume levels been in the UK, so i think the price and size and features is spot on for what i'm looking for! Thanks for an honest review!
The TPA3116 based amps are really only best paired with high efficiency/sensitivity speakers. Anyone have feedback how it sounds with speakers in the 93db and above sensitivity?
Not really... I've almost always used vintage loudspeakers. I have no idea what the current market is like and have hardly tried auditioning any modern sets.
So do i hold the button for 5 sec on rca mode or bt mode, bc the book say the light will turn red. It never did. And now the amp can't connect back to my record player 😒
I think you are asking a question for the wrong product. This amp has a mechanical switch on the front for switching between Bluetooth and RCA mode. You don't need to hold down any buttons.
If you have a rare speaker system with 2 drivers (tweeter/woofer) that has separate inputs for each driver, then you could theoretically give your speakers more power with 2 amps. In such a case, you could use 1 amp per speaker (by feeding both L and R speaker channels the same L or R aux/RCA signal), or use both amps for both speakers, depending on how you prefer to wire the RCA cables. I don't think it is possible to feed two conventional speakers (single input) with 2 amps without sacrificing half the power by not utilising a whole redundant channel - in that case there is no benefit.
Forgot to add: Informed, honest advice for someone trying to figure out everything from which products are good to what will work with my setup, is too hard to find. Hint hint...
Great. Please keep making videos. Anyone with a brain who watches will subscribe. That doesn't mean all the dumbasses out there won't subscribe. This is the best d-class amp review I have seen. Period. Honest opinion.

Yeah, the BT20A Pro edges out in the lead with a bit more power and authority.
MC101 is no slouch though, and easily wins the beauty contest ;)

you are the best!
Thank you sooo much for this, I was wondering why my needle was stuck besides abnormal volumes. I just need more INEFFICIENT speakers! 😮
IKR, it's such a weird 'problem' to have

I was just gifted one of these. Any recommendations for small speakers to have on desktop?

Could the sensitivity be adjusted for the VU by the little screw at the bottom of the needle?
Good idea, but sadly that screw only callibrates the 'zero' resting point of the needle when there is no output.
Thanks for the reply. Looking at the Za3 now..just wished it had a adjustable sensitivity vu meter. Maybe coming? Regards.
@@karlos543 I would also like this feature.
Great review, could 2 of these be used 1 for each speaker only using 1 channel on each ? Would this be any advantage? 😀

Thanks for the reply. After playing around today I’ve plugged my Rotel back in and getting rid of the Fosi. Thanks again appreciated.

@@Javi-e3h thanks! 🫶
Cool unit-but no headphone jack !
That would have increased the price by at least 50 EUR :P
