Two of my strings sounds good. But two strings make this vibrating fart sound its the D and G strings. What have I made wrong? It worked some days ago so it's obviously my fault.

Take a rosin Stone use sandpapper on it and put it properly o nthe bow then try

@@Shadowthevampire I put violin on my bow,I put a bridge on my violin and made sure my strings are tight (not too tight by the way!),for some odd reason now sound comes out.Is there a way to fix it?

Should the strings be tight on on your bow or loose? Thank you.

They should be tight, the gap between the wood and the hairs should be about the width of your little finger

I don't have a violin but I've got a Jordanian fiddle called a rebab. The bow stop making sound with it. Do I need rosin?

Are the strings on correctly? They should sit on top of the wooden bridge near the base of the violin in order to create tension.

My rosin is like a darkish Brown and its not sticky its like a Stones and even when Scratching the surfare its just powdery is it suppose to be like that.

My rosin is dark amber brown and crystallized. I used steel wool to try to get it somewhat scratchy. Another channel recommended a file. I'm still having the issue with it not having enough rosin according to this vid. I'm not sure what texture the rosin should be.

My violin strings on it once and I tried all of those but also by Rosen didn’t work like it’s not even sticky not even a little bit feels like rock yeah

You need to use something to sceatch the surfare like sandpapper and I think maby there's both sticka and non sticka resin mine is like when I sandpapper it it creates this dust.

I am landing in the same trouble of my new violin with no sounding. I think the Seller sent me very bad rosin. I will buy new one to see if the problem is fixed.. 😢
