We have to understand that Pakistan played it smart .
If only HAL could produce Tejas. Goes to show that money is not the issue becouse pakistan is poor but still is able to produce fighters not just to fill the requirement of PAF but also for export. Whereas India having more money and resources is still not able to make fighters for their own air force let alone export.
Because of engine supply issue. In 2021, India had signed a contract for 99 engines for 83 Tejas mk1a, but not a single engine had got delivered yet. No engine means no fighter, it's a simple logic you need to understand. But yes, you can say that a nation like India must have it's own jet engine.
Broo pakistan is not even in the list of supply chain of JF17 (maybe few irrelevant components) JF17 was project of china and it still is it is flourishing because of chinese manufacturing capabilities. Chinese are even producing J20s like making hot cakes so no matter what we say but chinese industries are developed and mature enough to handle massive production. Pakistan has little control and say in anything related to JF17. Chinese can sustain and fight more long wars than russia because of their domestic industry. India also needs a industrial revolution to boost its manufacturing sector then we can also make and supply fighter jets like hot cakes.36 or more than in a year.

I am not saying whether Jf-17 is a good fighter or a bad fighter plane because I am not qualified to comment on its ability. But my heart dips down realising the fact that despite being a top notch fighter aircraft our Tejas have failed to generate the kind of demand that was expected of it.
That is because it's top notch on paper. IAF was forced to buy for obvious reasons

Yeah Beacuse you donot funded its developmemt meanwhile pac and cac both equally funded jf17 development and hence both owns its selling rights. With 42 manufacturing rights owned by cac which includes manufacturing rights of rear and middle fuseluge on the other hand 58 percent manufacturing rights are owned by pac which including manufacturing rights of front fuseluge, wings, stabalizers and all control surfaces.

When you Indian defense buffs will stop crying like 4-year-olds. If you are failing over and over to induct Tejas, that is not our fault. JF-17 is a Pakistani Chinese jet, and now Pakistan produces 60 % of its components. Also yes, we are in talks with many countries for its export like Iraq and others. But I doubt Iran will buy them. Although, Iran has asked us to help train their pilots. According to recent PAF press release and video on RUclips.

Pakistan will be in a big trouble from US if it supplies JF17 to Iran. So Iran will depend on Russia and China for any direct deal. Mostly, if Iran already has MiG 29, then it would prefer going with MiG 35 or Su 35s, if it otherwise serves the purpose.

There is lot difference between manufacturing and Asssambling they even don't have their own car manufacturing plants they only assaemble the car and sell them on high price even they dont have technology to manufacture a 70 cc engine they also get thses engines from china and japan we are building fighter jet uss hisaab se we are building su 30 mki and also the AL-31 FP engine by ourselves and india and Russia both party invested 50-50 😂😂😂😂😂
