I miss this era of the band.
I think this one is my favorite.
Sonic Youthing the shit out of that guitar. The strings are on fire.
I read in an interview that they actually didn't get along at all. saide said matt could be very mean and rude to her and he later accused her of trying to sideline the other band members and make herself the sole focus of the band. so it sounds like it was ultimately not a good working relationship for either of them. still dude is an awesome guitarist and they definitely are lacking something without him.
totally agree man, The combination of sadie's great song writing and quite intricate guitar lines and vocal melodies, mixed with matt's unhinged noise rock sound was a great combo.
I met Matt once and he was cool, he was on another level, the band were great, but he was fucking possessed.
And now with the new line up is just like another watered down version of Sadie with some hipsters. I used to be obsessed with this band back in 2014, but when they kicked Matt out it all started to go downhill pretty quick. Good thing you can always go back and listen to this.

They gotta bring back that Guitarist, Matt. You can tell by watching this he was the life and energy of this band. It doesn't feel right watching them live without him and honestly in some live performances they look just downright miserable. Bring Matt back

Oh. Never really thought about it. On the surface, it seems like you could easily plug someone in. It's not very technical, just a lot of distortion and fast playing. Did not notice a huge difference with the new guy. But, since I do not even know the names, I will take your word for it. So far, the singer is the only remarkable one that I looked up.
