they did not need to go that hard for the sinnoh games, and yet they added a whole new section to the day's theme and made an entirely new theme for the night
Man. When I hear that Ruby/Sapphire music I’m immediately a kid again, sitting on my back porch on a nice summer day without a care in the world, never being able to actually beat the game but still loving every second of it
Uniqueness for each version imo: RBY -> The background melody throughout the entire music GSC -> Those unique "bass" notes on your left ear RSE -> This music has an intro, also The unique melody on the chorus FRLG -> The softness of the main instrument DPPt -> Different tempo in certain parts of the verse, plus that unique bridge at the end of the loop, also night version OMG HGSS -> Different tempo in certain parts of the chorus BW/BW2 -> Unique notes to fill in the silences within the verse XY -> the background guitar rhythm ORAS -> Same as RSE but better overall SM/USUM -> The unique hawaiian guitar vibe on the intro. Also the fact that there's an intro Lets Go -> the entire music feels more rushed. SwSH -> the entire song feels monotone and flat, especially on the chorus BDSP -> Same as DPPt but better SV -> The fact that they looped the verse before going to the chorus right away, plus unique bridge (I still think DPPt does it better tho)
I've heard the original Gen 1 theme so many times that I started gaining the ability to differentiate between the different voice layers. Admittedly, it's easier when using stereo headphones.
Anyone else notice that for a non profit organization, the Pokémon Centers really grew on size and amenities, even buying out the PokeMart and moving them into the centers?
No Pokemon game was poured more love and sweating than Diamond pearl and platinum. The game got so many features it even has different osts from day and night
My first one was blue version, then yellow, gold, crystal, ruby, firered, diamond and then a break until sword. I gotta say, when I see the graphics of those games I missed, I feel like some aged much better than others.
whenever I turned 10 my parents gave me their gameboy advance and I had pokemon emerald for it tbh since it broke because of my sisters I miss the game and the console entirely
@@DCONightingale the main melody remained the same. It's just the musical style that's made it different. Gen iv did the same thing and you can also hear the main melody
@@DCONightingalegen 3's melody was slow but it's still actually the same. Try listening to it in 1.25 or 1.5x and you'll hear the melody much more clearly :)
I just started playing the older games, starting with RBY+G and ive also played SM and XY. SM is my personal favourite just for the hawaiian guitar intro. Lol
Am I the only one weirded out by the globe that just shows the normal world in the B&W Pokémon centers? That implies that these games take place in the real world. So like, are the regions just separate countries that just exist alongside the real countries that they’re based off of? The regions aren’t exactly a 1:1 with their real life counterparts, but the globe looks 1:1 with our world. Does America just exist, but with Pokemon? Do the regions interact with the real world countries? Did England Invade Kalos and colonize Unova? Did the US drop a nuke on Jhoto after fighting them during Pokémon WW2? I’m so confused.
Colosseum/XD gale of darkness is certainly one of them, even though they have the same music as RSE pokemon center it’s still a remastered take on their music so they definitely deserve a spot here too I would say
"Hope to see you again!"
Things you don't want to hear from hospital staff
Haha even as a kid I felt that way
Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald bring me so much nostalgia!
Facts. The pitch of the music in RSE always makes me mellow and happy.
Also, am I the only one who cares about which Generation Pokémon Center’s door sound effect is the best? 😂
X/Y for sure
Meanwhile Scarlet and violet: 🗿
I like the black/white version the most. It makes me feel like on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.
they did not need to go that hard for the sinnoh games, and yet they added a whole new section to the day's theme and made an entirely new theme for the night
I’m proud to say that I was able to grow up and play every single one of these games as they came out!
Me too 😃
JEALOUSY+1_49>×
Old 🫵 (I’ve played every game since release starting with Platinum when I was a kid, so I guess I’m old now too lmao)
Wish I never skipped after Gen 2. 😢
Have lots of catching up to do 😵

the tempos for dppt and hgss are actually consistent throughout each tune! its the rhythm thats different in the verse and chorus respectively
Forever in love with fire red and leaf green ❤

it's three layers, not four
@@lmaolol7702 3 layers, i can just about do it with gold silver as theres a low bass track but gen 1 is too closely mixed for me to split them all
Scarlet and Violet's pokemon center looks like an open McDonalds
Such a terrible idea an outdoors Pokémon Center.
@@YourFateG I think it's kinda cool; as long as it's just this generation. A Pokémon waystop; kinda like a gas station.
Well there's Pokemon Centers littered around the region compared to others in the past.
Love Pokemon XY ver~ It bring me tears when the music changes when I play that game during my birthday
I remember first playing it when it came out in 2013 at Christmas time :)
I always likes how the song changed at night in d/p
I love Kalos Pokemon Center for both the theme and the interior structure
Where’d the time go man. I remember being a kid playing blue on my gameboy color endlessly 😂 and the gameboy was considered older at the time to
Unova and Paldea may have my favorite themes, but FireRed and LeafGreen's theme will always hold a place in my heart
Thank you for this great collection !!
You know Scarlet/Violet are good games when even the beauty shots have 5fps animations.
Omg. So many wonderful memoeries and themes!!!!❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤

The DPPt night theme is amazing!
true, it sure feels save and warm there
Of course X/Y comes out on top with the best variant of the theme

Black/White is my peak.
Same
I like the fast paced version of the og red and blues games
RSE/ORAS version will allways be my favorite.
8:35 this is so much nostalgia
Gen 3 being like fuck you we’re gonna do our own thing
Why u say that though? What dofferentiate them from the rest?
@@Luluskuy the fact that the Gen 3 Pokémon Center theme is literally entirely different from the melody of every other Pokémon game.

I'm playing this while waiting for the doctor.
HD Pokemon Y is creepy af
Hoenn is, as always, the best
I forgot how different Emeralds theme is
I just started playing the older games, starting with RBY+G and ive also played SM and XY. SM is my personal favourite just for the hawaiian guitar intro. Lol
Sappire and colloseum ❤
My favorite has to be black and white or oras
GBの8bit音源からSwitch今風になるの好き
hoenn is very unique
But for me, the best one still is the theme from PokéMon Collosseum.
XY is so cooool, saphir alpha is amazing variant version and Heart gold is my nostalgia fav music 🥰
RSE (Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald) version’s PkMn Center theme is always too good to have the same song style as the others. ❤❤❤
What about Colosseum/XD Gale of Darkness?
sorry, I only included mainline games
I plan to update this vid for the next release, maybe I’ll add your suggestions then too!
Fascinating
Was hoping Colosseum would be included... 🙁😞

HgSs sounds like it belongs in a Mario and Luigi game lmao
Pokémon Colosseum??
Man I miss the birds eye view camera with the unique Poke art style :(. Now we get the generic 3d anime Pokemon games

Something about the tempo of gold and silver rubs me completely the wrong way
My top 5:
1. RSE
2. HGSS
3. XY
4. DPP
5. BW
the best one has to be SV for me
Pokémon net center? 😢
Sick call da faq
Goddamn, the XY center is the messiest looking Pokemon center I’ve ever seen
i loved the games ruby and sapphire but they kinda ruined the pokecenter theme
😇😎👋🎆🎊🎈🎉🎁
Scarlet is so bad, seems like a mcdonalds.
it's the same song for all of them lmao
