You should visit Hong Kong. Po Lin Monastery Restaurant has great vegan dishes. Plus you see a breath taking Buddha statue. P.S. have as many people as you can to a table as you get more dishes to try because it is calculated per person for menus.

Love those EXPO videos. Hope they will branch out globaly. I found some great vegan products at my Lidl store but for some reason they are only limited, which I find strange.

Yeah definitely way more chicken than anything else. And I'm just now finishing up the other Expo West video, so I haven't done anything with the tofutti yet, but stay tuned!

How come we, as vegans, always look for the next best thing that imitates animal food? We should just embrace green stuff, like herbivores in nature do, shouldn't we? Still, it's always about meat, cheese, eggs, even after a decade of veganism 🤔🌹
It helps to get more people to go vegan. It can get them initially interested or help with cravings. It can also help people eat the nostalgic foods they grew up with. I think there's a lot of good reasons, but I also agree that in order to be a healthy vegan, it's best to eat as you said, green stuff.
@@NoEggCraig 😊 What I've learnt after many malnourished years (of being vegan) is that our cravings are the very intelligent way our body communicates its needs. What I've also learnt is that the vegan diet is just carbs, oils and sugar, never really assimilated protein (to rebuild our cells or give us essential nutrients, as we don't have a double stomach to break the fiber down, like herbivores in nature do). Whenever you feel your health is going down and you cannot find any answers to that, just listen to some ex-vegan stories, you'll find incredible similarities to yours, and build-up the courage to grab a real piece of meat, some real cheese or eggs, to give your body real nutrition. I think you and your family are amazing and you deserve to be well fed, happy and healthy 🤗❤❤❤

Too many dang brands, the prices of most of these products are spendy. Need a few brands to go bigger so economy of scale brings some prices down.
Tofutti, Daiya and some Aldi vegan meat or dairy products are probably the cheapest. But yes, unfortunately, like you said, they are all small companies and can not afford to be cheaper yet
