I'm speechless, I don't know Japanese , yet you can still feel the nuance and the melancholy of the music and voice as it exudes the emotion within the song. Unbelievable talent.

I know this is two years ago; but, Japanese, Swedish, German, Norwegian, Farsi, English, a little French and Spanish. she had enough credits at the end of 2021 to graduate high school. I believe in high school you also have to take a language? If that is still true then she’s probably speaks Outer Mongolian! 🌺

I watched an audition a few years ago for a talent show by a seven year old girl named Amira Wilighagen who had taught herself how to sing opera by listening to songs on RUclips (she was, and is, as amazing as Angelina in her own way) and one of the judges said at the time "I want a daughter just like you".
That's just how I feel about Angelina. I'm a bit older than that judge, so I guess I'd have to go for great-granddaughter, but the feeling is the same. She makes me proud to be a human, and humbled by her talent and the goodness of her heart. It's nice to be reminded every time I watch one of her videos that this is what we are capable of. We may not all be born with her gifts of talent, but we are all born with the same heart, and we can all aspire to be as pure in heart as she is. Thank you for posting all of these clips - they are priceless.
Edit: It was Holland's Got Talent that Amira auditioned for. Had to go look it up, it was so long ago I'd forgotten.

When you got to "She makes me proud to be a human" I began to tear up. Yes! She brings us all together. What a contrast from those who believe they can advance their narrow interests by trying to create more and more division between us. She shows us how magnificent we could be if we just stopped listening to them and took her example to heart.
I might catch some grief for the rest of this even though it is 100% pro humanity. If I get a "thank you" or two I'll be happy.

@@louisegogel7973 - Yes , I had heard Alma Deutscher a couple of years ? ago & was impressed . She is extremely talented . . . . but Opera oriented is not my normal ' go-to ' . Angelina's voice reaches inside & twists. She relieves stress & tension almost immediately for me where Opera is relaxing but not as quick or thorough ! ! ! Thanks, RH
@@richardhobbs9038 Have you listened to Alma’s piano or violin sonatas? They are purely instrumental and very healing and soothing, as are so many more of her pieces, even the one that makes an amusing and sweet waltz out of Vienna’s cacophonous traffic noises. I also am not much of an opera fan, though I am of Gilbert and Sullivan’s operas which are wonderfully delightful parodies.
However, I did enjoy hers, and I find Alma’s two operas very wonderful stories. She transformed Cinderella into a composer and the prince into a poet, so they had to find each other by a poem he wrote that she had found and composed music to. So instead of sweetness and looks and a shoe being the key elements, sweetness and talent were the solid foundations of their relationship. And the other opera is nicely in support of women having talent as well!

Very beautiful song sung by Kyu Sakamoto and topped the charts in Japan in 1961 and the UK and US charts in 1963,.i remember it well and play it often, Sadly Kyu died in a plane crash in 1985 aged just 43, what a loss. When Angelina sang a Japanese song my Japanese wife couldn't hear that she isn't a native speaker of Japanese! What a perfect performance!
You know I could be wrong but I believe that Angelina is a quarter Japanese! On her mother's side. That could account for the perfect Japanese accent!🤔

@@van03de she does however understand the flow or rhythm of the language. Her musical ear probably works for accents too. If you sound right that could cover for lack of knowledge of the language. 🤷♂️

Hi, that has been one of Angelina's gifts since she started singing. Her ability to connect to the heart and soul of a song, then sing it so that it enters the core of our heart so that no matter what language she sings it in we 'get it'. Plus her heart is to sing for us all and share her apprehension of the song she is singing.
Hi the first song is Feeling Good, the second is a Japanese song and I do not know the language, but Angelina handles it well, as she does with virtually everything she sings. I should have warned you I seem to write long sentences. I try to add comas so you can breathe. Anyway I hope that helped. Maybe someone who knows Japanese can tell us what the title of the other song is. How about it guys? A little help?

@@103mrg I think she was reading the words off the stand. You know, they probably didn’t speak English at home with grandpa being Japanese, Granma being Iranian, mama being Norwegian and dad being Swedish. Or maybe English was the only common language.What a great way to grow up!

I have seen a lot of Angelina videos, but this is the first from Japan. I guess it had to come since she is 1/4 Japanese genetically from one of her grandfathers, but I doubt she understands much Japanese, since they translated for her and English is already her third languague and Japanese is a tricky languague to learn, especially for non-asians. I bet her exceptionally musical ears helped her pick up the pronunciation, though.
I read that her Mother and Uncle were raised in Japan and speak the language fluently. Her
grandmother is a Persian Artist and was instrumental in bringing jazz to her at an early age.
She mentioned on The View that she began singing jazz at 1 1/2.
I’m speechless! She is so stunning even singing a classic Japanese song! I’m Japanese and following her ever since she was in the Norway’s got talent.
She sings perfectly in Japanese and sounds so much more emotional than the original.
