Welcome back ladies. Love, love, love your reactions. This concert was 2 parts. 19 songs each with a a break in the middle. The dark gown was the first show, and the white one was the second. Hard to believe 38 songs in one night. Her Mom and Grama produced a 15 minute documentary covering her past 10 years. Truly remarkable.

She wore both gowns in each show. The first half in the black dress, the second half in the white one. She did the costume change for both shows.

Actually it was two separate concerts with 19 songs per concert. One show at 7:00 and another at 9:30. 18 of the songs were the same for each show.
There was a break in each concert during which the band had a jam session and introduced the band members while Angelina did a wardrobe change.
This song fits Angelina beautifully. Every time she sings it, a new classic is born. Thanks ladies, for another entertaining reaction to Angelina.

Her family and supporters have done an incredible job of letting her make decisions and choices without catering to the desires of the commercial music industry.
She’s been on stage and in the studio for 10 years, and her family has protected her from all of the “noise” of quick fame so well.
She is doing all the things that she wants to do, and I am grateful for her art.

She had 2 concerts on the same day. Sang about 40 songs in total. To see more of these concerts watch the short documentary ANGELINA JORDAN 10 YEARS IN THE MAKING. She sang many different genre during the concert so do check the documentary out. It will reassure you.
FYI - you should know that they always do a full rehearsal in the afternoon on the same day of the show to set sound and lighting levels, working out issues they might have making it at total of 57 songs sung that day.

She's being singing in front of audiences since she was a toddler, was never pushed to look like anything other than a happy kid doing what she wanted to do. She turns 18 and finally releases an EP called "Old Enough" which doesn't really need much explanation as to why that name was chosen (by her I'm sure) and you guys still believe she was pushed too soon? come on...

I think that for people who haven’t followed Angelina for a long time, *particularly* those who aren’t familiar with her very early social media posts, they don’t understand that Angelina has always been “experimental” with her looks. From an early age she has always been interested fashion. So her “Elvis” look was just that… dressing up in yet another look. She doesn’t embrace a particular style, yet her looks always contain a retro thread, and *every* look she pulls off with an over abundance of *class and good taste.* 🎶💙👣

I believe what we know at this point is, it is not a full concert but she was invited to the Palladium to sing one song, other performers will be there as well. However that does not leave out the possibility that she might do a full concert somewhere there.

Mother had something to say! I agree with most all of it. Angelina can sing anything and the way she reinvents old classics is wonderful. I enjoyed all of the original songs on her EP. The message each one gave was very thoughtful. The trouble with new songs is getting used to them. It takes me sometimes years to fully appreciate the intention and history of what was performed.
I agree that an album of covers mixed with original material would be outstanding.

I appreciate your concern (Mother) about Angelina's recent change of professional persona/image maybe not being entirely her choice. But I would say that if you were to see all the videos and images of her that are out there - including a ton of raw cell-phone footage posted by herself and her family - you would surely have to come to the conclusion that the changes to her "look" over the last 3½ years or so have most likely been driven by her own personal tastes more than by "pressure" from, say, her record label (or "management" - which, at least up until she turned 18, was her family - not sure if anything's changed about that).
In a Patreon post from November 2020, a few months after her signing with Republic Records was announced, and roughly two weeks after the audio release of her song "Million Miles" (but before any music videos had been posted), Angelina said that she was "making more music now", adding: "I am free to create and express my feelings, dress how I want, and just be me, myself". At the time, it wasn't entirely clear what kind of potential or actual constraints she was talking about being "free" from. Was she alluding to clauses in her contract with Republic that allowed her a level of control over her public image, or to a more personal arrangement with her family? Or both?
It wasn't long afterwards (around the time she turned 15 in January 2021) that she started to show up in social media posts with light-colored eyes and more noticeable makeup. At first, it wasn't obvious whether her eye color was "real" - due to colored contacts - or just an image filter. As more posts showed her with light eyes in more kinds of situations, it became clear that they were, indeed, colored contacts. Still, this major change to her appearance wasn't reflected in her professional image until about 18 months later, after several music videos had been posted - both under her own copyright and that of Republic/UMG - with her natural eye color. The first official release in which she wore contacts was her "Suspicious Minds" music video in June 2022 (which bears her own copyright). The following month she appeared on TV and in live concerts wearing them. From that point onwards, the contacts were a permanent feature of her look, both professionally and personally (i.e., as seen in social media posts by herself and her family, including "random" posts by her sister, all of which have made it pretty obvious that this is something she does on a regular basis "in real lfe", and not just as part of a carefully curated "public image").
In terms of the overall "style" of her professional image - including hair, makeup, and clothing - that has been so "all over the map" in the last few years that it surely is not the result of pressure from the label (apart from them needing her to have some specific style for the "cover image" of each release). If it was up to them, they probably would have picked a style for her right at the beginning, before any official releases happened, and made her stick to it forever afterwards (or at least for a long time). But that's not what we have seen. In both cover images and personal appearances (on TV, in live concerts, on red carpets, etc.), her look has been quite variable. And to the extent that the overall trend has been towards a more "made-up" appearance, I'd say that mirrors a similar trend we have seen in her appearance in "everyday life" (again, based on all that cell phone footage we have of her).
One final note about her concerts: Interestingly, these appear to be arranged and executed solely by her family, independently of the label. In her Portsmouth concert last year, there was only one brief mention of her being on Republic Records in the introductory remarks given for the benefit of many local subscribers/supporters of the venue in the audience who didn't really know who she was. There was no other visible "presence" of Republic Records that I noticed anywhere inside or outside the venue (e.g., on signs, in the venue's promotional catalog, etc.). Same in Vegas, although in that case I don't think there was even any verbal mention of Republic Records at all during either concert - this despite the fact that RR studio director Rob Christie, who has worked with Angelina since she signed with the label, was actually there playing guitar and announcing her return to the stage after her mid-concert break / costume change.

I politely disagree that AJ has changed. She’s still the same young lady she has always been. You must remember she arranges everything including instruments, her attire etc. no one tells her what she should do. That’s why the family went with Republic Records. After watching You two ladies for quite a few years now, I hate to say that I disagree with your assessment. I understand that some of us older fans of Angelina have a tendency to forget that first of all she is still, at 18 years old, a teenager, and that is going to call for strong expressions of her identity as she grows. The big hair was never Amy Winehouse, it was Priscilla Presley's fashion expression back in the '60s that Angelina because she went through a stage where she felt she wanted to pay homage to Elvis. At the time she was doing the leather outfits it was purely her own expression at the age of 16. Secondly, no one presses her to do anything at any time when it comes to her career, and what she is doing with her music. What you have to understand about Angelina is that since she was a young child she was the one who picked the music, she was the one who picked the direction, and never would be pressured into anything because first of all her family would not let that happen. Ultimately you have to let kids grow up, and they are going to go through different aspects of their identity, and how they express that. Yes I know that we have all adopted her in our own ways, and have our own aspirations on how we would love to see her develop. But just like with our own children there has to come a time when we have to sit back and watch them develop in their own ways. So believe me there's going to be videos, and events when she will not be wearing gowns she will be wearing things at 18, and 19-year-old young people will wear, and we just have to sit back and watch her developed naturally into what she will ultimately be, but she follows her own guiding star, and her contract with the record company insist on them letting her do that.
