Yeah, especially since she found out at the restaurant. She had the rest of the meal, the car ride and the elevator ride to compose herself. Reacting like that in the moment would still be bad, but it would explain the outburst. The fact that she had probably at least a half hour to compose herself makes it so much worse
@@elizafischer7229 she has mental issues. Seeing what she said about her time in foster care. Also needs a lot of work on social skills. In a way, poor Andy probably deserves someone with issues as needy as he is.

I don't think Andy was obligated to tell Erin about Angela that quickly, but it's something he should have told her eventually. If they were together for months or years, I would hope he would tell her. I would be upset if I were in her position, but I would try to act normal in front of our coworkers and then bring it up calmly somewhere private.
It's one of the issues with dating from outside of the friendzone. I think at this point they had known each other long enough and played enough tit for tat that they were already pretty serious. I think the actual problem was that Erin was just immature and if Gabe had never come along, they would have gotten back together much sooner.
@@henrypeters5291 That's a good point, when you make the decision to date a friend it starts off more serious than it would with someone new. So it is a little weird that he didn't mention it. I like Ellie Kemper, I think she's hilarious in The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. But I despise Erin and this episode shows why. She's so dumb and so immature and her relationship with Andy is such a waste of time in the series especially with what happens in Season 9. Erin really comes off more childish than usual making her whole relationship with Andy look creepier. I like the small moments she's able to have with Michael as a Father-Figure especially as she's an orphan and Michael has always treated his Co-Workers like a family. Even if you don't think that should be the direction the character goes in they could have definitely done more with her character.

The character growth for Andy and Erin could have been great, and prompted a number of future character interactions.
