RIP Dolores.... One of the most beautiful keeners ever.... I recommend "Zombie", "Ode To My Family", and "Linger" for your future reactions to the Cranberries...
R.I.P. She is no longer with us. After she died the band did put out 1 more album, proceeds went to her family I believe. Irish band... do Zombies. It's a political song about the Irish conflicts, but its gorgeous.
Man - I still can't believe she's gone. I saw the Cranberries for $3 at the door of LaLuna in Portland Oregon in 1992. Counting Crows opened. It was the best 90's concert ever. Tiny venue, maybe 500 people. I was right up front for both bands - 10 feet away from Dolores for the whole show. She stole my heart... just an amazing voice. She's from Ireland, and the lyrics to "Zombie" will make more sense when you know that. He voice is just haunting. Try out some studio tracks - Live is fun too, but her voice work on the studio tracks really shine. MORE CRANBERRIES!!!
I’d recommend giving the studio version a listen, her vocals are haunting. Could do, “Salvation”, “Turn Away” “Zombie” next. Great reaction 🙋🏻♀️🙌🏼👍🏼👏🏼💜🇨🇦
This live version is more energetic and slightly uptempo'd from the album version; it normally starts softer. Beautiful either way. Dolores and the Cranberries were truly one of a kind.
RIP Dolores you were amazing. We in Ireland 🇮🇪 still miss your beautiful voice. You were such a generous talent. Gone way too soon. Your keening is absolutely amazing 🤩
Best band ever. RIP Dolores. Though this was recorded on Dolores' solo tour so wasn't actually The Cranberries as such. Missing the full energy of the track without the rest of the guys. Irish band. Though this backing band were Canadian organised. But, you need to hear the original track to hear the originality of the mix and song structure. Dolores did have a couple of amazing solo albums too though which believe this was the tour for the first of them.
R.I.P. Delores. She had the voice of an angel. Loved her use of Irish keening in her vocals. She was supposed to reprise her vocals for the Bad Wolves cover of Zombie on the day she died. Bad Wolves went on to record and release the cover as a tribute to Delores.
Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was an iconic 90's era singer & talent... Tragic losing her in 2018 (R.I.P. 😪) She was a teen w/ her first young love when she wrote 'Dreams' ... She married someone else, had 3 children, but got divorced ... her personal life was problematic by all accounts before her untimely passing. She was from Ireland. Her voice was very unique in any era, and the Cranberries refused to carry on without her and ended their career. Some iconic singers just cannot be replaced - Jim Morrison (The Doors), John Lennon (The Beatles), Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Michael Hutchence (INXS), Michael Jackson (Jackson 5/The Jacksons), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Ronnie James Dio (Dio), Peter Steele (Type O Negative), Phil Collins (Genesis)...
Wowowowowoowoowo so fucking good, I was hoping for a studio version. I've got tears falling down my face. This chick is wild, something about her had such an impact.
RIP Dolores!! 😭😭 She had such a Hauntingly Unique Voice!! Never had the chance to see them in Concert....but...I feel her through her Music and it's really Breaks My Heart knowing she's gone!! 😭😭❤️💜
Such a heart-breaking loss. I don't normally feel too much, when stars and idols die - I don't know them, not really... but I still well up thinking of Dolores. I hope there's something out there for you in the beyond, you touched so many.
The Cranberries song I remember is Let It Linger, which played on the radio approximately 65535 times per day in the mid nineties. The lead singer's distinctive voice was what made the group famous. It wasn't the accent, I think, so much as the oddball tone.
You reacted to Zombie last year by this band. As many have said, she is a beloved Irish singer who passed the day she was supposed to feature on the Bad Wolves cover. Her songs (I'll admit to not having listened to all her music) generally has strong message behind it if not 2. Her vocal abilities are top class and she makes them seem impossibly easy, The "keening" others have described or the vibrato and how she uses them to convey so much emotion. That's before you get to the unique tone she has... had :( For many she is the sound of Ireland, be it Zombie, Dreams, Linger, Ode to my family, Promises or otherwise. Have to agree with some others sentiment here, This performance wasn't cranberries apart from Delores and really didn't show the intricacies of the arrangement or capture the feeling of the song barely at all. Eg the tempo was far too fast and the noises at the end, I think because this was South American concert If your looking for live performances SPECIFICALLY, check out the Paris 1999 Concert Or the one She did with Sinfonia Varsovia (I'm sure there are many others but this is I feel very representative)
Released in 1993. A big hit for The Cranberries". Who were huge throughout the 90s. Lead singer here, Delores O'riordan, died unexpectedly in Jan 2018. If you listen to the studio version, she sounds a bit more haunting. Give it a go.
Do “Linger” it is by far my favorite Cranberries’ song. It’s bitter and sweet all at once. It’s about infatuation, how a girl’s heart can be touched and broken all at once. How we idolize those who strike those cords within our heart.
You actually reviewed probably their biggest hit, Zombie as one your your earliest videos. I think the note was the goal was like 400 subscribers when you posted.
I love Dolores' voice! Unfortunately she battled depression for years and ended up dying tragically drowning in a hotel bath tub. Alcohol level was high.
As an orange bearded man I would assume that the keening style lends itself to a farewell to the love. But I'm third gen Irish American, so I don't really know
Would be nice for you to react to the live version of zombie. Your reactions have come on a long way since you reacted to the iconic studio version. If you do, ensure you look up the story and the general history behind the track. The song still brings shivers and at times tears to the overwhelming vast majority who live on this cluster of islands (Ireland and GB)
Dolores had one of those voices you could pick out . Unique. Like Stevie Nick's.. to me there bes5s songs were this one you reacted to, when you're gone, linger, just my imagination... lots of great songs. This live version is faster than the album.
I think Zombie should be your next one by The Cranberries. It's about the troubles in Ireland. It's also recently been the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday (aka Bogside Massacre) too, maybe check out the history before you hear the song for context first though.
if you haven't heard zombies yet from them you are missing out and then i'd recommend a cover of it done by bad wolves...but i'd recommend watching the music videos because they are very symbolic
Long time watcher first time commenter u should really listin to zombie by bad Wolf she was suppose to record the song with them but died in a car crash on the way to the shoot
I only wish you had reacted to the audio version, because the atmosphere on live performance was so much less intimate, that it lost much of its heart.
I don't understand why people listen to live versions the first time. The studio version should almost always be first, then try the live versions. This isn't even a good recording.
RIP Dolores.... One of the most beautiful keeners ever.... I recommend "Zombie", "Ode To My Family", and "Linger" for your future reactions to the Cranberries...
Hard agree
@Trish Dowell Have you heard her perform on NPR Tiny Music Desk? That rendition of Ode to my Family will have you bawling.
I played Ode to My Family on repeat when I bought the album... All that rewinding. Lol. Great album.
R.I.P. She is no longer with us. After she died the band did put out 1 more album, proceeds went to her family I believe. Irish band... do Zombies. It's a political song about the Irish conflicts, but its gorgeous.
It was such an unexpected gut punch when I heard it.
Zombie and Linger are must-hears
listen to bad wolves cover of zombie
She's from Limerick in Ireland. You should check out "Linger" and "Zombie" by them as well, such amazing and distinctive vocals.
and Ode to my family
R.I.P. Dolores. The Cranberries are an Irish band and this was one of their biggest hits of the 90s
❤️Dolores❤️

Gotta give the studio version a listen. She harmonizes with herself beautifully.
keening is a traditional type of Irish singing... almost like a unique Irish yodel. RIP Dolores
AMEN!! 😭
RIP Dolores you were amazing. We in Ireland 🇮🇪 still miss your beautiful voice. You were such a generous talent. Gone way too soon. Your keening is absolutely amazing 🤩
"I hear a slight accent."
I've always thought Dolores couldn't have sounded more Irish if she sang in Gaelic.
Dolores O'Riordan was one of the greatest singers of all time, imo. RIP to the legend!
One of those bands that I could listen to all day. Love her voice and the band is so solid.
Quote of the day: "I hear a slight accent" :-)

Check out, When You're Gone, which could almost be a follow on from Dreams. But be prepared to be blown away. Her voice is simply sublime.
I can always count on you for the BEST music. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to do these reactions!
Oh man The Cranberries were like a staple of the 90's. You probably heard them on the radio back then
Great arrangement and amazing voice. It's live so she was definitely ad-libbing the song. R.I.P Dolores.
The entire album "Everyone else is doing it so why can't we" is just great.
Ireland 🇮🇪 and watch Zombie its AMAZING with a sad story behind it. RIP Dolores from your American/Irish sister.
RIP Dolores!! 😭😭 She had such a Hauntingly Unique Voice!! Never had the chance to see them in Concert....but...I feel her through her Music and it's really Breaks My Heart knowing she's gone!! 😭😭❤️💜
You've reacted to them before but she looks different in this one. Less gold paint!
Such a heart-breaking loss. I don't normally feel too much, when stars and idols die - I don't know them, not really... but I still well up thinking of Dolores. I hope there's something out there for you in the beyond, you touched so many.

Do Promises, Live in Paris, next. The antithesis of Dreams.
To understand her and her singing, you need to hear "Zombie" ...
RIP
Delores O’Riordan, limerick, Ireland - RIP - amazing person. Gone too early. Zombies or longer are also stunning.
You reacted to Zombie last year by this band.

Fun Fact. This Song Was In The Movie The Next Karate Kid.

"Zombie" is amazing, you should also listen to "How".
Yes. Zombie and Linger should be next

Eagerly awaiting your reaction to zombies!
You have to listen to Zombies…… it essentially became the driving force that brought the parties together to sign the Good Friday Agreement.
She is from county Limerick on the west coast of Ireland
I adore The Cranberries, Dolores' vocal range is amazing. For more, I would recommend either Linger or Zombie.
The rolling your tongue is a common thing in celtic inspired music. Its just a thing irish folk like to do
The singer Dolores o riordan was an Irish singer R.I.P Dolores she was a wonderful soul and legend
I can not watch this it still makes me sad , i miss Dolores so bad she brought so much joy an hope in my life
Zombie MTV unplugged!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖 its wonderful
She was in love with Life Music her fans and was about her 1st love. RIP Deloris
Zombie is an essential song to react too by cranberries
It's sad because she is no longer with us...her songs were mainly about Irish injustices and the ravages of war.
Love the Cranberries and Dolores! Great choice! You gotta do Zombie, it's foundational Cranberry knowledge, haha.
You actually reviewed probably their biggest hit, Zombie as one your your earliest videos. I think the note was the goal was like 400 subscribers when you posted.
She’s all Limerick, Ireland.
Gotta do Cranberries "Zombies" soon, followed by Bad Wolves "Zombies" remake. Even as a back to back would be awesome.
Zombie is a great song, and she's Ireland
She was Irish. Check out Zombie. Love your reactions.
Zombie. Its a political song about the IRA bombings I believe. What a powerful voice. RIP.
I love Dolores' voice! Unfortunately she battled depression for years and ended up dying tragically drowning in a hotel bath tub. Alcohol level was high.
I like this specific type of content.
Rest in peace my friend Dolores O'Riordan. 😢 I miss you .xoxo. Ireland. Sorry my friend. 🙏✝️🌟💋🎶
RIP queen of Ireland
You should definitely do the official zombie video.it is art.
“ One on a million Irish lass.”
I hope yall told him. I'm sure you have. Being a teenager throughout most of the 90s it was hard not to know who the Cranberries were. RIP Dolores.
As an orange bearded man I would assume that the keening style lends itself to a farewell to the love. But I'm third gen Irish American, so I don't really know
Sadly, yet another we lost WAY TOO SOON
Would be nice for you to react to the live version of zombie. Your reactions have come on a long way since you reacted to the iconic studio version.

Wow dude your voice is really deep and then Dolores sing the contrast
Dolores is dearly missed. The Cranberries were definitely something special. Among my favourite songs of theirs I'll mention 'Wanted' and 'Empty'.
I could have sworn you reacted to the Cranberry's song Zombie.
RIP
I think Zombie should be your next one by The Cranberries. It's about the troubles in Ireland. It's also recently been the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday (aka Bogside Massacre) too, maybe check out the history before you hear the song for context first though.
They're from Ireland
R.I.P

😍😍😍😍😍
Long time watcher first time commenter u should really listin to zombie by bad Wolf she was suppose to record the song with them but died in a car crash on the way to the shoot
Pure Irish
Cranberries fans should check out the "unplugged" performance from NPR: ruclips.net/video/hxsJvKYyVyg/видео.html
If your going to react to the cranberries you gotta do zombie absolutely fantastic song
Not nearly as good as the studio version, it doesn't quite capture just how beautiful her voice is. Great song though!
I only wish you had reacted to the audio version, because the atmosphere on live performance was so much less intimate, that it lost much of its heart.
She's Irish.
Can you please react to Robert palmer song called Know by now
Please
Can u just do the versions that are not live.
I don't understand why people listen to live versions the first time. The studio version should almost always be first, then try the live versions. This isn't even a good recording.
react The Cranberries Hollywood Live - ruclips.net/video/LCenyKFiXTc/видео.html
