@TRAIL TECH. I have a 2019 KX450 just like the bike in the video. However, the temp probe is way too big to fit in the radiator fins. Is it adviseable to trim the probe so it can fit?
I’m curious if you can wire this kit to a trail tech vapor. The trail tech vapor conputer has a temperature set up on it that tells you temperature and overheat. You think it would be possible?
I have a 90 kdx200 that doesn't have a battery as standard what's the easiest way to power the fan kit??

how the hell did you get the digital gauge into the bar protecter when the length of the wires from either fan or gauge is shorter than 4 inch. I need the overall length to be at least 14inchs.
He lengthened the wire,he said he modified it as it's a universal kit. Add a section of wire. No biggie. Use uninsulated butt connectors and shrink wrap. Cheers
how do you connect this without a batttery? is there a specific feed on the bike i can use? RMZ450 2014?

Can you install two fans on a bike? I would like to instal two on a kx 450 2019.
I know this is old but someone may benefit- As a reference my 2010 kx450 puts out 50 watts. I am looking at adding this fan. I’ve read it is 30 watts so 2 would be under powered. I don’t know if they would physically fit either. You’d have to look a battery set up for 2, I would think.
Anyone know if there is a kit that will fits the kx450x ‘22? I put it in the recommend site but states it doesn’t fit my bike.

COME ONNN why did you have to skip over how this bike doesn't have a battery... how did you do THAT part?
The 2019 KX450 actually comes with a battery so the power connection is just ran to the battery directly with the included power harness.
Not real helpful on setting temp on display
These are great kits, except for one thing. THE WIRING SUCKS. Why on earth could they not make a proper wiring adapter with a DTM or similar multi-pin connector. The THREE separate wiring connections (two junk molex and one proper weather proof fitting) are a ROYAL PAIN to connect and disconnect when you need to remove a side panel if you mount the readout on the side panel. If you are going to provide such a short wiring set up...then at least make it ONE single connector! AARRRGH it sucks as it.
