The fact you actually helped the guy instead of leaving him like everyone else did is really really good. You have such a good heart🥀 You deserve so much respect for not leaving him🥀ILY❣🥀
IronSoldier he doesn't need the publicity. At least he acted upon it instead of leaving it. It was a fucking great thing he did, he could have saved that mans life. It just goes to show that the littlest action can be the difference between life and death.
for everyone saying Joe should have gone down... just think for a bit. It was the middle of the night and pitch black , the man could have been like that because of a fight or something, and he could have got hurt, if it were you i don't think you would have gone down either. Also, what could he have done? not much.
If they put the blue lights on after seeing to him, it means it was a genuine emergency that meant he needed to go to hospital ASAP. Well done for calling 999 but in future, you must go assess the person yourself. That poor guy could have gone into cardiac arrest whilst you tucked yourself in bed. A good deed doesn’t end with a phone call x
AmericanPrincess22 unicornprincess22 sorry but that’s a pathetic excuse to use if someone’s life is at stake. I’m a nurse - no personal problem should come in the way of saving a life
I feel like addressing everyone’s comments asking why he didn’t just go out and assist the man. Honestly it depends on the situation and we don’t know everything that happened. But bear in mind that Joe is an adult who knows how to judge a situation. He was the one who saw it and he did what he thought was best. Also, he mentioned it was really late and that he himself wasn’t positive that this person was drunk. Also it’s safer to not approach a stranger if at all possible. Muggings are common in big cities like London and there’s always a chance that the person is faking it. What he did was best in my opinion. He called the police, he kept an eye on the man, and I think he would’ve gone out there if he thought it was necessary.
Joe was a selfish pussy. He has some cheek to criticise the other people who walked past as he essentially did the same thing. How does he know they didn't also call the ambulance when walking past? The guy wasn't faking being unconscious and bleeding for an hour before the ambulance arrived either. I would be ashamed to tell this story. He should have left it out
The thing is, you always have to put your own safety first. That's even what they teach you in first aid courses. I see why going down in the middle of the night where there are numerous pubs and bars around wouldn't necessarily guarantee your safety. Besides, seeing drunk people on the streets at night is quite common. Living in London he will have seen some strange things and a man who's moving independently isn't the most concerning. They say even if you don't feel like you can do anything (for whichever reason), you can call the ambulance. Props to Joe for not being ignorant but acting on the feeling that something was wrong. 👏
I'm glad I'm not the only person in the comments who thought Joe should've gone down to make sure the man was okay. Just human decency if you were as worried about him as you said you were.
Amy Y not hate but as someone who has been in a similar situation. When you don’t know what’s happened and have just woken up, you doubt yourself a lot and on a Friday night in London you see a lot of drunks. Not to mention that with the murders going on, it would be safer to stay inside. Also he was keeping an eye on him meaning that if the man completely fainted I’m pretty sure Joe would check on him. At least he called 999 unlike the others. I see where you are coming from though. (Don’t want fights just my opinion) xx
id check in my hometown, but london? fuck that XD he did the right thing by calling 999 from the safety of his home but idk how he can call out the people passing by below
It's nice that you called, but I'm a little confused why you didn't go down and wait with the man until the ambulance came... just kept watching from your window?
livebreathedance15 Probably because the man could of been scared and could of possibly fainted, or he would've been drunk and could of attacked him maybe.
Aw Joe, if more people were like you on this earth, then the world would be such a lovely place. Your personality is one of which you'd only dream of someone to have. 💖 Your modesty and kindness are just two of the greatest things I love about you. Thank you for the vlog, I really enjoyed it 😊
okay but why didn't joe just go down to check on that guy? that would have been my first reaction. he could have easily put on some clothes and got byron to go with him if he was worried for his own safety
Eva Lind everyone processes things differently. Some people just freeze up in general. At least he called and kept an eye out. Rather then walk away and pretend he saw nothing or completely freeze up in shock and not even be able to call the police
iiWonderwomanii I'm aware, I lived there for several years. But first of all, I doubt that someone like Joe lives in a particularly rough area. Second of all, he could've taken Byron, like I said. I don't think two physically fit guys in their twenties would've been in much danger, especially because they weren't in some shady alley but a well lit street with people walking past .
Eva Lind it depends on how u process something some ppl can handle a situation like that better then others what u might of done isn’t the same as what others have done.
Joe, I'm glad the ambulance showed up. When you were explaining the process of calling emergency services, I was flabbergasted! I live in Vancouver and our 911 emergency phone line is much more efficient, helpful, and to the point than what you described. Thanks for being a morally responsible citizen and keeping your eye on that guy when all the passersby were ignoring him!
Joe, you probably saved that man's life! I can't believe so many people ignored him, what if he was their father? Or husband? Or best friend? People can be so heartless, I am so glad you cared enough to act!!
Why didn’t you just go down and check on him how did you know whether he was having a heart attack then the ambulance comes quicker... and you can apply CPR
Why does everyone suddenly becomes a hero and excelent citizen on social media?!, he helped and watched his own safety and that’s responsible too, at the moment you don’t know if the man was robbed or if someone dangeorus is chasing him, by going down you would be putting yourself at risk too
Ironic when he was complaining about people walking past ignoring the man, but then only watched him from the window himself. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this and there's a few people in the comments saying the same.
Just appreciate what he did do instead of nitpicking everyones brain processes situations differently some people would of literally froze in spot and not even be able to call anyone
Joe your a good guy stop insulting yourself. You saved a man on the street and got Tom from the side of the road. My personality is so much like yours with the overthinking. Please love yourself more you deserve it.
I don't usually comment on videos but I really have to say that I strongly suggest that in future you actually go and be with the casualty. Well done for phoning 999. Exactly! I lost some respect for Joe today. It doesn't take a lot to throw on some clothes, run downstairs, and just stay with the injured guy. A little compassion is all that was needed. I'm sure the man would have appreciated it. I'm glad Joe called 999, but to me that wasn't enough in my book. And if he was scared, he should have just taken Byron along to act as his bodyguard.
I am a nurse. RN. And that is not how you handle someone who could be life threatening injured. When you hope it won’t be you one day. And to all the soon to be nurses you got it right.
I know where ur coming from but joe was probably shocked and in a state of panic and he did a good thing calling the police. For all he knew he could of been targeted for a mugging and was cautious. I lost no respect, i actually gained more respect for him
OK can everybody leave Joe alone for "not going to see that man" like i think he knows by now guys... why can't we focus on the happy things like how hilarious and kind and thoughtful Joe is 😂👍😍
They make milk from nuts by soaking the nuts in water overnight to retain fluid. Then they add the nuts with a few cups of water to a blender and blend until it forms a thick liquid. Maybe it’s just me, or maybe it’s the fact that we have become desensitised to those types of situations, but to leave someone who could of been seriously hurt on the floor and watching them with binoculars is heartbreaking. I know you rang 999 and that’s great, but to leave a fellow human being who was clearly in need on the floor is just so wrong in my opinion.

Hi Joe, I know you will probably not see this but you are genuinely such a caring person. It was an amazing thing for you to do because everybody knows how 'easy' it would be to just let it be. Thanks for always making your videos! They truly make my day 😊
At the beginning when he ran into the lamppost I actually shouted out loud: OMG JOE! And the worst part is I'm on a public tube so everyone is staring at me😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭

Sorry but you should have gone down to him. Staring at him through binoculars isn’t much better than the people walking by him. It’s good you called 911 but you should have gone down... If he was old and unwell I’m sure he would have liked a reassuring person by his side.
i actually enjoy these kind of vlogs where you just tell us stories n stuff, what's going on with your life ☺️ i love listening to what you have to say joe ❤️
The size difference between how and Josh is justtt😂💙killed me when I pretended to walk into the pole and when u said, "the cable just fell out my arse"💙😂😂
I think people should stop pretending they would’ve done any differently in that situation and I’m pretty sure most of us would of stayed in the comfort of our own home and not chosen to go down there in a possibly unsafe situation, stop being so hard on someone that did a good thing. Good on you Joe :)
Ffs can people stop saying that joe should have gone down and helped him. If he was in central London we all know that it might be unsafe he called 999 when others ignored him. I doubt any of these bratty 11 year olds would have been brave enough to do what joe did. Love you joe ♥️
“He seemed like quite an elderly gentleman, like in his 50’s...”
Holy shit! 😂
Don’t let my parents hear that!
Dani Bentley hahaha😂. My mam is 57 she would probably kill me if I called her elderly 😂
The fact you actually helped the guy instead of leaving him like everyone else did is really really good. You have such a good heart🥀 You deserve so much respect for not leaving him🥀ILY❣🥀
Bible Trash same!!
hey maddi 😂
Grace hey Grace😂
Yet he stayed in his flat the whole time and simply watched from his flat. Sure it was good he didn't exactly go all out.

He said he wasn’t sure if he was having a heart attack or whatever...Honestly I understand your perspective but he should’ve went down

So this is when he did the test for strictly!
I couldn't stop replaying the moment when he walked into the lamp post 😂😂
C T OMG same 😂😂😂
C T yeah XD, not going to lie I’ve don’t that about 4 times before....just walking into a lamppost as you do XD I got a huge egg on my head (a bumb)
C T same I replayed it like 5 times. Lol
C T haha yeah Same 😂
He pretended
Joe is like me, we are so hard on ourselves. You don't have to justify yourself to us Joe, and don't be so hard on yourself.
Jessica B amen to that! Haha
Jessica B I
How do you like your eggs in the morning? I like mine with a BYRONNN
Joe when you're going release your song?
The emergency reminded me of the kitty genovese case that happened in new york..no one helped the poor girl being attacked. They just walked on

Joe - have you ever squeezed a cashew?
Byron - no, did milk come out?
Joe- No i just got an oily hand

Your so sweet Joe for helping that guy 💖💖
Legand says, the owner still is running after that dog...

The description 😂, 'THAT'S OUR 911 AMERICA!!!' 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When joe said the butternut squash was chatting to him and Byron opened the fridge, I thought josh would be there
ThatLittleArtist that's too funny
Joe is such a kind hearted human!!! Glad to see the internet fame hasnt brain-washed him!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why didn’t you just go down and check on him how did you know whether he was having a heart attack then the ambulance comes quicker... and you can apply CPR
Project Luca lets just appreciate what he did do instead of nitpicking at what he didn't
Project Luca
Dude, appreciate what he did. This is a hard thing to decide what to do! It’s very stressful and he was in a very stressful situation
Why does everyone suddenly becomes a hero and excelent citizen on social media?!, he helped and watched his own safety and that’s responsible too, at the moment you don’t know if the man was robbed or if someone dangeorus is chasing him, by going down you would be putting yourself at risk too
He didn't know if the guy would flip out at him or run off before the ambulance got there
he wasn't going to though thats the thing he was keeping an on him in case he ended going completely unconscious or tried running away
That was really smart and responsible of you Joe. Being a good Samaritan. 🙏✌🏻
So you did all of that. Spyed on him for a while. But you didnt get dressed and go down and see him?
At least he did something
Ironic when he was complaining about people walking past ignoring the man, but then only watched him from the window himself. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this and there's a few people in the comments saying the same.
Amy Y he couldn't if u was watching properly u wud of known
He said he couldn't go down because he wasn't fully dressed. Last I checked it didn't take much effort to put some clothes on.

It could be dangerous in London at night and he wasn’t properly dressed
I was actually thinking the exact same thing... it really is sad :(
He wasn't properly dressed is not a valid reason. It takes like less than a minute to put a pair of pants and jumper on

who is that?
Megan Reade what is 999 lol
Rebeca Aguilar like 911
Nishat Mim the butternut squash
some people didn't watch the video ):
You are such a good person helping that man joe xxx
Why didn’t you go down and see if the man was okay joe?😂
Amy84 I thought the exact same, I'm glad everything was okay but he really should've gone down.
Leah Furlong same👌
Melissa yeah I get your point, but by him sitting up and down and a bleeding head sounded like someone needed to check on him
He said he didn’t really have any clothes on but I did think the same :)
Melissa I'm sure he did but it sounds like he was going in and out of consciousness, I know it's not a huge emergency but if that was me I would like someone even a stranger with me.
“Go do it yo Byron or Oli” HAHAHAHAHAHA🤣🤣🤣🤣 i want one day to scared me Joe i don’t think I will handle it that well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Another Joe Sugg vlog??? I’m Impressed😀🤗
Love u joe, it’s crazy, I’ve been watching you for like 3 years and you have grown so much

_cameroncarey_ can u not call me that cause people always say that to me... always
Erin Pratt oh k sorry
Bowie in the background at the beginning was EVERYTHING. 🙌🏼
Joe. Good on ya for calling 999, but you really should have gone down there. Imagine if he had gotten much worse. You'd never know
Mathilde but what could he really have done?
What really annoys me is that people are saying to go down there but he didn’t know anything about this man so it could of put himself in danger as well
Sorry but you should have gone down to him. Staring at him through binoculars isn’t much better than the people walking by him. It’s good you called 911 but you should have gone down... If he was old and unwell I’m sure he would have liked a reassuring person by his side.
999* he’s British
i actually enjoy these kind of vlogs where you just tell us stories n stuff, what's going on with your life ☺️ i love listening to what you have to say joe ❤️
joe and Byron are the cutest omg
Joe is really coming outta your shell this year and I’m loving it!!

You're a good person Joe. I'm sure that man is very thankful.
"I've never milked a plant in my life" 😆
I hope the man is alright! JOE, YOU ARE A LIFESAVER! ❤
Watching this back, Joe probably went to a meeting about Strictly Come Dancing 😯
I think people should stop pretending they would’ve done any differently in that situation and I’m pretty sure most of us would of stayed in the comfort of our own home and not chosen to go down there in a possibly unsafe situation, stop being so hard on someone that did a good thing. Good on you Joe :)
Guys its 111 for non emergencies.
Georgie Britain here 111 is the emergency number!
Jo Mc Lol don’t confused people 111 is for unsure and in need of medical advice 999 for emergencies in Britain.
In Scotland it's 101
101 is the police non emergency number, 111 is non emergency nhs medical advice
Georgie Britain your the one confusing us !
“You wouldn’t really think anyone’s watching you..... but we are”
😂🧐😱 The walls are watching😂😂😂😂
Well whatever this vague meeting was about I hope it's all going well lol :)
Joe was the good Samaritan that helped the guy while everybody else ignored him. Good job Joe. Thank you for doing that.
Saving a life is what makes you a successful person !So proud of you ♥
I already fancied Joe, but seeing how compassionate he is! Sigh😘😍
You should have gone outside Joe- ! 😳
Good on you Joe 💗💗 You took the problem into your hands and It payed of 👍🏻👍🏻 Love your vlogs 🤗
In America it's 911, In England it's 999, Here in Australia it's 000
I love your Blink182 vintage tee! They are one of my favorite band! Also, you and Bryon doing the Radio DJ stint during traffic is on point!
Do you think joe has a folder of Oli voices and phrases to put on the videos 😂
Damn, that poor man,.hope he's okay. You deffo did the right thing calling the ambulance
Ffs can people stop saying that joe should have gone down and helped him. If he was in central London we all know that it might be unsafe he called 999 when others ignored him. I doubt any of these bratty 11 year olds would have been brave enough to do what joe did. Love you joe ♥️
Ty
