Thanks for the information Dr. Wes. I thought at least the subcontractor should go instead of me but if neither can go, will it hurt our proposal or looked at differently from the CO or POC?

The solicitation clearly specifies the factors that will weigh most heavily in the decision-making process. These could include price, technical capability, or contractor responsiveness. Attending a site visit does not compensate for being overpriced or technically inept.

on the other hand, i have seen solicitations that require a site visit or highly recommends one (sparingly)
