    How about when you turn and hit a bump let alone off road? I have 285 75 16 K2O's w 2.5 bp51 suspension lift w total chaos upper arms. It rubs in the wheel well especially where the fender and fire wall meet. I just recently put on the spider trax spacers and it is so much worse. Any advice would be appreciated

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  5 лет назад

      My tires are 285/70/R17 and yours are a bit bigger than mine. Since you have the caster adjustable upper control arms, see if you can increase the caster. It should move your wheel forward away from the frame

    • @KFloTacoma

      That's just settling of the spring. It still takes about half a day before the spring completely settles.

    Then why does my tacoma lean towards the rear passenger side? Am I in for new leaf springs?

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  4 года назад

      I would say inspect your truck in the following order:
      1) check the weight distribution on your truck. Is the gas tank full? do you have stuf stowed on the passenger side? Did you relocate the battery?
      2) Check if you have any bends or damage on the passenger side spindle.
      3) check your struts for any bends and/or damage

    • @KFloTacoma

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  6 лет назад +1

      It's really dependent on you. What I would recommend is check the difference between the left and right side. My truck had a almost a 1" difference and the 1/2" spacer was able to level it out. If your difference is only a 1/2" then you can probably get away with a 1/4" spacer.

    I have the Tacoma lean on the driver-s side rear. How would that be fixed?

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  4 года назад

      Your rear leaf springs may be sagging. First, check your truck for a recall because my rear leaf springs ended up being replaced completely due one. Go to www.toyota.com/recall and put in your VIN number. If that's not the case, I would recommend adding a leaf / replacing with higher quality leaf packs. Increasing spring stiffness for both sides should level it out. Watch that video in my channel.

    Have any ride problems or anything stacking a spacer on another spacer? I want to put a 2 inch spacer on top on my 3 inch spacer, what’s your thoughts?

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  4 года назад

      This is the maximum that you can stack for the regular spacer lift. A 2 inch spacer over a 3 inch spacer will require a lower control arm drop. Check out the 6" lifts that companies make. They have a 5" spacer but ALSO has a LCA drop.

  • @radsdaman
    @radsdaman 5 лет назад

    They both rub , no spacers , I watched a video on custom offsets don’t know if spacers will help , i like the 3” lift , damn I’m confused on what to do

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  5 лет назад

      Ok. I see. Spacers wouldve caused it to rub a little bit more since it pushes the tire outwards - I wouldve suggested removing them first if you did have them.. Which lift kit did you get? If it's in your budget, the 6 inch lift should lift your truck high enough to clear the body mounts. If you do plan on rock crawling on the future, you would still need to do the body mount chop anyways. Another option may be the (which would be pretty expensive roughly $3k to $5k of work but would look awesome) long travel suspension. Look it up, it's pretty sweet! It will clear the body mounts and make the truck more aggressive looking - it would be one of the more expensive option and still have a lifted look. If you want a really cheap option, wait till the tires wear down and change to smaller tires. It's really all up to your budget though.

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  5 лет назад

      Actually disregard the long travel, I read more into it and you wpuld actually need to do other mods to make it work well.

    • @Jordan-nz5cq
      @Jordan-nz5cq 5 лет назад

      @@KFloTacoma what would you do if you did have a lean in the back? My 2013 Taco has about a 3/4" lean in the front and back

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  5 лет назад

      Take care of the front first and then remeasure. If there's still a gap You can then add a shim in the leaf pack. Wheelersoffroad.com look for SKU# TT TTFS. Install it like how you would install an add a leaf kit. Watch that vid in this channel. Good luck bro

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  4 года назад +1

      Short answer is no. Long answer is: toe and camber will be easily adjustable to keep into spec. Caster is fixed and is not completely adjustable. If your concern is tire wear then your ok as is. If your concern is how the wheel returns to center after turning and high speed handling, then you'd probably want to buy an adjustable UCA
