Fun fact: Aeronautica Map is roughly 20 times bigger than all those combined (except legal Roblox building arena) and it takes 12 hours to walk from the east to the west of the map.

The Spacesailors main map is HUGE. If we were to include the entire earth, the land area of the earth is 510 million km2. That converted into inches is around 7.90501581 x 10^17. Convert that into studs2 by multiplying it by 1.088 and we get 8.6006572E17 studs2.
Probably even larger with the distance to the moon because you can experience the entire trip to the moon if you wanted (which would take about 3 days)

Really good video, though some maps are kind of inaccurate as the actual playable map is way smaller then the decorations out of the playable zone (i mean map behind borders). Still love the idea ❤

Honestly the CC2 map is tiny in comparison to oter games, take for example aeronautica and neo warfare, i can run the entire CC2 runway in little over 10 seconds

I love the animations in this video
If you end up doing a sequel, some maps you should include are:
Apocolypse rising (1 and 2)
Phantom forces maps (some are kinda damn big, especially highest way or something i forgot the name)
The Jailbreak map is kinda big
Arcane Odyssey's map is massive not even considering its incomplete
The wild west's map is massive
The steep steps map is kinda freken tall
And lf course cant forget "Walk 100000 studs for literally no reason"
also areunatica or ptfs
and also slap battle’s other maps since they did mm2’s many maps too (like the limbo, pim’s maze, kraken’s ship, eternal bob’s boss fight map, etc)
Highway lot actually used to go for over 3 million studs I believe, people would go as far out as possible.

They aren't on free model, if you want your game to be on remastered video in the future then instead of complaining why is your game isn't there, try to find an archived link for the map then comment to me. A2: The map filled with things is feel bigger than map fill with nothing. Or the map i took from free model is different scaled from original

Brookhaven has a good and big map and the thing is most of it is filled with content and it has multiple secrets so its really good for hide n seek

@@mistercreeper3029 There's a limit to how far you can scale parts, the ocean in NDS uses a mesh to make it way larger than what would be possible with a normal part
There is a map for Bee Swarm Simulator on free models, however i am pretty sure it's outdated so it makes sense why you didn't use it.

There are tons of open world game maps on roblox that you could choose, maybe pick the games that are literally made to be open world (like the Wild West, Pacifico 2, Zaibatsu, Emergency Response Liberty County, Empire Clash, Generic Roleplay Game, and more.)
Technically speaking, you could make a map that is the build limit and make areas at the borders that teleport you to the other parts of the map in a different game to hold it. So technically with this you could build earth..
I was thinking the same thing - could this be the successor to Build The Earth? (Minecraft project to build the entire planet which started in March 2020)

Great video, I've always wanted someone to make this. One complaint: There was not nearly enough maps. I was waiting the entire time for Jailbreak to show up, but it didnt.

I recommend looking at the waterloo map from napoleonic wars. It's made to scale I think.

Fun fact: the bee swarm simulator map size is unknow, it could be infinite, outside the mountain, a huge green platform is there, is funny because the normal zone with stuff is kinda small

So, if one stud is 0.28 meters long, and a square stud is 0.078,4 square meters...
That means that your map is 20,078,972 M²! I.e 20 km²!
That is 6 times the area of Central Park New York City!
Almost 100 times the area of the largest sports stadium in the world: Rungrado 1st of May Stadium!
Over 3,750 football fields!
And 33% of the Virgin Island National Park!

I actually created some maps back in 2020 that had about 82944 (2048x2048)
baseplates, I created them mostly for driving tests.
I use them to this day sometimes but It gets glitchy upon reaching the edges
since its very far from the center of the map.
(likely outside the legal build area) which is why I can't make
maps too big, or the game becomes unplayable. I even at one point tried
making a map larger than that, but many issues followed. (loads indefinely or a
long time, crashes, or times out connection)
I also used maps with 81 baseplates around early 2018, and 729 baseplate
maps around mid 2019. They were stable enough to use, and mostly within the
legal build area. (I still make maps about these sizes to this day.)
I guess building a 1:1 scale
map of the earth on Roblox wouldn't be possible myself, even if I could the game
wouldn't load or crash, even if I had a PC with the highest specs
possible. there would be no way a single computer would handle such a
behemoth of a map that big without scaling it down to a stable size.
(tldr; It would take years to build and it wouldn't load. All that hard work for nothing.)
That being said I'm probably going to stop using/creating games that exceed
the legal build area except for expiremental purposes.

Fun fact: If you move a part beyond 1 million studs The part will be teleported to z -1,000,000 studs

Could have added other maps like the 'Colour or die' chapter 1 maze or the Bloxburg map but still really good
Try making a PT 2 where you can show different maps from flight sims on Roblox
Well you can resize the baseplate which makes it more bigger than it's original size
The basic template are the ones shown in the video. And if i'm not mistaken you can only get twice as big sides of the new baseplate as it's the maximum part size.
And how about Stepford County Railways? I think this experience map is really huge btw

just a guess from what I know
there is a game that i was playing one day, a simple tycoon map. but i got the best vehicle and began to explore the surrounding area. i then continued travelling one direction for about 10 min straight, and it kept going. it really seemed procedurally generated, even though that inst possible with roblox. if i can find what the name of this game is, ill update this comment, but it was a while and its erased itself from my continue playing list.
