Dutch was a dad of a dying family. He couldn’t stop progression in a world that didn’t want him anymore, no matter how much he did, no matter who he stepped on, he just wanted to keep the spark going Arthur was just a guy trying to help his family as much as he could but unlike Dutch, he came to terms that the world he once knew was dying and it was time to accept his fate With the ones he saw as family leave him to die, he stares at the rising sun slowly perishing to the disease inflicted on him due to what his old ways put him through. In that moment Arthur felt true change, change in himself
Throughout the entire fight against Micah, I had tears in my eyes and just kept thinking “C’mon Arthur, please” even though I knew I couldn’t win. Rdr2 is the only game to make me genuinely cry. Rockstar does such a good job at building this incredible character and then they cruelly rip him away, its really heartbreaking when Arthur dies, especially to such a rat like Micah.
Rdr2 and the game before your eyes are the only 2 games to ever make me cry, it’s a very close call to which one is more emotional while rdr2 is a much better game before your eyes is a very very very emotional game that tugs at your heart strings in a way no other game has

RDR2 ain't no normal game. It's a piece art that will never be painted again. It's buried in the history of gaming and it had a legend that stole our hearts. RIP Arthur Morgan, you and the others will be missed.
I never have shed a tear over a video game. This game was the first to make me do so. He did whatever he could to redeem himself with what time he had left. He ended up saving John, Charles, Uncle and Sadie in the end.
When I finished Rockstar's masterpiece of this game, I was trying to find this song and now that I have found it, I honestly don't know which death is more tear-jerking, Marston's or Arthur's, but I just know that these Outlaws are legends of the West and Outlaws For Life.
Moses Trevino I don’t know. Both games ended with me walking outside of my room sobbing, and my parents cooking dinner. Difference is, when I walked out the first time they asked what was wrong. The second time they asked if I’d completed Red Dead Redemption ll.
My dad made me play red dead redemption 2. and since me and my dad are very sadistic when it comes to these types of games, I of course went with a low honor playthrough, but I still got really attached to Arthur. so when I chose the ending where you go back for the money, I never thought that I could get more pissed off at s videogame character (Micah)

The thing that’s pretty cool though is you can hear Hosea’s voice in the song
Hosea is welcoming his dear son to heaven with open arms.
@@trevorphilips9065 Sorry brah, Artuhr did redeem himsefl but Hosea did not. I now that he was a better person than Dutch and didn't approve the killing and shit, but still he was an outlaw and went to hell for his... transgressions.
@@fonfa234 Actually if you notice Hosea never once does any killings throughout the whole game he was even the first one to tell John to leave the gang in some ways Hosea did find redemption in the afterlife and Arthur was the one who did it and hell is only for those who don't feel regret for what they've done and there's plenty of dialogue that suggest he regrets everything.

Noot Noot
This is true, as a girl, I cried when Arthur died,
I finished this game yesterday. I knew arthur was gonna die but I didnt know how. I shed a tear at the cutscene. I kept my arthur clean, had the max honor and tried to do everything to help others. I felt so sorry for my horse, Emma, I wish she made it out. I have to finish the epilogue but this game has really got me thinking over these past few days
Edit: Finished the game. Felt so powerful at the end going and finally ending that rat Micah

Dutch was a dad of a dying family. He couldn’t stop progression in a world that didn’t want him anymore, no matter how much he did, no matter who he stepped on, he just wanted to keep the spark going
Arthur was just a guy trying to help his family as much as he could but unlike Dutch, he came to terms that the world he once knew was dying and it was time to accept his fate
With the ones he saw as family leave him to die, he stares at the rising sun slowly perishing to the disease inflicted on him due to what his old ways put him through.

You must have gotten the low honour ending. Which is the least canon one.
Even the actor of Dutch cried a couple of times while that scene
