this song is from the book soundtrack and live version of toms book The Christmasaurus.. when tom wrote the book he also wrote songs to go along with it, that add to the story. when he took it on stage, he cast some of his family and friends in it with him... his wife, his sister carrie, harry , and matt from busted .. tom and Gi met at theatre school when they were 13, and she has been in many shows, 2:22 a ghost story, and everybody's talking about jamie to name a few.. and she's currently in rehearsals for the girl on the train next year.. the song is tom and Gis characters in the christmasaurus realising they have feelings for each other but they aren't quite sure how or why as on paper they shouldn't "work" - toms character loves christmas and has passed that on to his son, while Gi's hates christmas and is the mum of the school bully (played by toms sister)
