Hello Ratchet and Clank fans, I know that a lot of you out there will remember this game as being
one of the best in the series(Or the best). This is where the RAC franchise gets most of its
reoccurring staples regarding combat and how the following games are typically played.
Ratchet receives special commando training in this game, and is assigned a mission by his new boss befitting
of a newly formed commando. As you may see throughout this playthrough, Ratchet's tactics have improved drastically
as well as his weaponry, gadgets, defensive and offensive options alike. This game focuses more on the progress
of Ratchet as a character, since in RAC1 Ratchet's character may have been a bit one dimensional in comparison
to characters like Clank or Qwark. Ratchet now has the ability to maneuver side to side without needing
assistance from Clank's thruster pack (A feature previously seen in RAC1) Fixing this, they gave ratchet a means
to be able to battle multiple enemies at once, sometimes on extremely large scale battles comparable to warzones
or interplanetary combat on extreme ranges.
Ratchet get's special perks like modded weapons, his own customizeable ship.. upgradeable armor, some well deserved
recognition and a chance at another challenge and some free exploration to traverse some new planets, because
lets be honest, Ratchet loves to explore! Clank is merely along for the ride this time, but he returns with even
more humor than last time, and Clank brings some new flavor to this game as well, however he provides more of a calm
in the background addition to this game, as it is more so about ratchet evolving as a character from this commando
experience.
Nevertheless, both Ratchet and Clank both find work at Megacorp, and they are forced into yet another adventure
involving the wellbeing of yet another galaxy. This RAC is historical, since it completely changed the entire
concept of RAC and set it forward in a new direction, a direction we still see today. It has created a legacy of
games involving very similar gameplay, lovers of "A Crack In Time" may not understand the importance of this game,
but this game in particular set new milestones for the developers, and is a great addition to the already radiant
collection of platformers available on the market.
Sorry about not doing the extra stuff, but that would involve a lot of farming, and mostly involves playing the game all over again (Challenge Mode). It's a bit farmy and there's not much to be missed aside from some weapons. -

12:31 I remember very well being fascinated by the "Power failure on decks 4 - 14" message, and then the "Emergency generators online" at 12:36! Those error messages remind me of something out of Star Trek! I loved it! That was my favorite part of the game. Also, when i played this as a kid, i never would buy new armor because the green and black Commando suit he wears at the beginning of the game makes him look like a Power Ranger and i love that. Nostalgic.

I remember hiding behind a building at the edge by the water and used spider bomb turrets to kill this boss. It does little dmg but all of its ammo combine does the trick. It's so stupid xD
