I’m confused, it seems like everyone on the panel expects the man to pay for the wedding but traditionally the parents of the woman pay for the wedding. This is what REALLY shows that the female and her family want for this marriage to happen and also helps the female understand that she is now going to be covered by her new husband instead of her dad.

As a result the booking of the venue can take years and people save a small house deposit to spunk on the wedding day. I have seen people engaged for 8 years because they ‘can’t afford to get married yet’
