    Hi Liz! Watching from Perth ☺️ You have such an amazing wealth of knowledge about succulents 🤯 I currently have a small succulent collection but I’m struggling to identify them all and have no idea how you know all of them by heart! I hope to one day have a beautiful succulent collection like yours. Your new fan, Jess ☀️🪴

      Thanks for watching and subscribing, Jess. I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. When I started growing succulents, I use a few online sites for identification. World of Succulents, Echeveria in Oz and the online stores, were my go to for succulent ID. Comparing online images also helped. Just a matter of waiting for the succulents to grow a bit bigger to confirm ID. Hope this helps. Have a great day!🥰

    I use Bayer rose and flower spray for aphids. Darn bugs... ruining the seed harvest.
    Another great video 🤗💙🌺

    In my growth zone it is almost impossible to grow succulents from seeds. Would love for you to experiment and cross-polinate and get exotic seed babies. I live vicariously through your videos. Binge them like a comfort Netflix series.

      Succulent seeds just like summer growing vegetables, is best sown when temperature is warm for best germination. Growing indoors with a constant warm temperature will help a lot.

      @@GrowingSucculentswithLizK my summers are 45+deg Celcius and the winters are like 20 or so... So my winter is the time when succulents thrive n look happy. Summer has already begun in February here ... Temperatures are going up to 35 :(. I have tried to grow seeds indoor but fungus is a major issue ... But will give it another shot.

    꽃에 벌들이 날아들고 예쁜모습을 알아보나봅니다.😅저는 꽃대를 잘라주었는데 잎을 정리해주고 꽃을 볼수있게 관리해주시는군요. 잘 배워갑니다.❤❤❤

    I love to watch and listen to you. I bought some cuttings (no roots), and two have flower stalks. Should I just cut them off since I don’t want the seeds…I want them to root? Thank you

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I would cut them off for the plant to concentrate on growing roots. Best of luck!

    Hello Liz! What a nice video! I wonder how you can remove the flower stem completely (and in a right way)? I've never done that 😂 Scared to leave some parts and they will rot

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  11 месяцев назад +1

      It all depends on the plant. Some have long stem that you can cut off 3/4 of the way(best way for tight leaves). Let dry. In a couple of weeks. Pull out when dry. Others, you can wriggle from side to side and then pull. Some of them can be pulled out to the edge using a tweezer or long nose pliers. Best done when no rain for a couple of hours to give time to dry and callous. Good luck and have fun.

      Thank you! Some plants are naturally red. Others become red with the cold temperature, some become red with warm temperature. Others become red because of the soil mix and also the liquid seaweed. Some become red because they are stressed from not being watered for a long time. Every plant is different and have specific needs and condition to look its best.
