The reporter only talks to cyclists about the “improvements”? What about the drivers point of view?Doesn’t question the exorbitant costs in a city close to bankruptcy or the traffic delays and lack of parking that will just cause more chaos. Downtown will end up being just for the very rich and the very poor.

Make no mistake, this is primarily about the war on the car. The idea is simply to frustrate drivers by wasting their time. (By the way, I'm a hardcore daily cyclist!)
And just look at the sign that shows the proliferation of confusing road markings on the way. No one will know w. t. h. to do or where to go.
Get your facts straight. If you want your groceries, Amazon delivery, home repairs, and so on, HOW DO you expect it to be carried out without vehicles. Please think before you talk in front of a camera reporter.
What about pedestrian safety? Cyclists don’t obey rules.
Correct. 98% of them don't.
I'm one of the 2% who do. The 98% irritate and worry me as much as they do you.
When I am at Queens Quay & Bay Street intersection and am crossing the street the bicycles & scooters do not obey the stop sign & always narrowly miss hitting me & other pedestrians. This looks like it will be another dangerous intersection for pedestrians getting narrowly hit by bicycles & scooters not obeying the stop signs!!!
All bike owners should play for insurance as they are sharing the road with vehicles. It's only fair as they want a bike lane.
We should increase car insurance to pay for the bike lanes the cars are bigger and they also pollute

CN + CP Rail both had 10% increases in net income last year. Both companies increased all top executives base pay (C - suite employees) by between 9-16% and increased their stock compensation.
Did the people actually driving the trains and making sure they get where they are supposed to go see any of that 10% increase? No they didn't.
I really really hate how media everywhere portrays the owners of capital as the victims during any labour dispute. This whole economic system is based on not paying workers the actual value of their input and calling the difference "profit".
You want the shelves to not be empty? You want your goods delivered and your customers happy?
Tell CN + CP to shut up and give the workers a fair deal.
That looks more like a circus floor than an intersection. Exempt large congestion fees onto large vehicles except at night. Ban daytime truck deliveries. Roads used to share every lane with everyone. Trying to keep pedestrians, cars, bikes, trucks, buses, and people all from colliding while constantly intersecting each other requires higher driving license standards. Half the people on the road should have their licenses restricted to small towns and rural areas at best. 16 year olds, 90 year olds, blind people, and the biggest jerks all drive downtown T.O. when they shouldn't.
