    I was wrong. I'm keeping it and at the end of the video I'll tell you why!
    ==========================
    Here's my previous assessment ..... I watched tons of reviews about this microphone and THEY ALL recommended buying it. You sure about that? Why would I buy it? They all pointed out all the pretty buttons and noise cancellation and how small the mic is and how good it sounds, etc.... The proof is really in the pudding.

    Nice work admitting you were wrong, only a humble/real man can do that. I think your point is still valid in the case of using the USB C connector or lightning, you cannot separate the left right tracks is what I have understood, which is the only thing stopping me from buying it.

    I am considering the purchase of a Hollyland Lark M2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone for iPhone/Android/Camera/PC/Laptop with Lightning/USB-C/Plug.
    My question is this: would it be possible to use one of the Transmitters paired with the USB C Receiver connected to an iPhone 15 and the other Transmitter paired with the Lightning Receiver connected to an iPhone 12 at the same time, or would they interfere with one another?

    • @SirDodge
      @SirDodge  14 дней назад

      Hi Randy, sorry for the delay I was away in montreal but that's a great question. It might be possible because the manual says that they use adaptive frequency hopping. I could try later tonight and let you know ASAP. To test I will plug up the lightning adapter to my iphone with one mic pod. Plug the USB C adapter into my android (but go into another room to do it) and then remove the other mic pod from the case and see if it connects to the other adapter. GREAT QUESTION!

      @@SirDodge i just found a solution on youtube. They said i need a lightning/usb-c to 3.5 jack adapter and a TRS to TRRS cable (the original is TRS to TRS). Then you plug TRS to the camera receiver and TRRS to lightning/usb-c adapter.
      Even easier if you could find a lightning/usb-c to 3.5 mm jack male. Someone said on Amazon review

      @@SirDodge hey, i tried the same and no luck for me. But i found the solution. I bought the Boya BY-K2 cable and it works perfectly for my DJI action 2. Stereo, being able to adjust the gain directly. If there is no similar cable in your place, you should go to a audio shop and try. I tried 3-4 cables (all type c to TRS) and only the boya one works. I think its because of the chip inside the cable. And you could find a similar one with TRS to lightning for iphone. Good luck for you.

    You can connect the M2 to your iPhone 15 by using an SC7 (TRS to TRRS0 cable and a 3.5mm USB-C adaptor. Using the camera transmitter. I tried it and it works well and separates the two mics perfectly!

    • @SirDodge

      @@SirDodge I have the iPhone 14 Pro and it works. You'll need a lightning to 3.5mm adapter and SC7 (TRS to TRRS) Cable like you mentioned but using the camera transmitter. I had no issues. I rarely record on the phone as well but I saw this comment and thought of giving it a try. It works fine on mine. But just to note, I didn't use Rode SC7. If I understand everything correctly - there is still no easy way to send the two mics to separate channels for easy editing afterward. Seems like a lot of convoluted methods proposed here that doen't work for everyone. Maybe in the M3??

    • @SirDodge
      @SirDodge  Месяц назад +1

      Hi, if you're using the camera adapter with an external recorder it's easy to separate the channels with a 3.5mm to Dual XLR. I still haven't figured out to accomplish that with either mobile adapter. I know more expensive brands have controls for each mic on the receiver, not that case here. The more I think about it, the more I feel like someone with no experience with audio devices wouldn't know they separate the channels.
