Overview of the international arrivals process at Cairo International Airport (CAI). Terminal 3 at Cairo Airport is home to Egypt's flag carrier - Egypt Air - and also all Star Alliance member airlines serving Cairo. Almost all nationalities require an visa to enter Egypt and a visa can be obtained on arrival, electronically, or through embassies abroad, depending on your nationality.

You would purchase the visa sticker from several banks inside cairo Airport, and they are located just before passport control then you give it to the Egyptian officer

No, you can you buy 30 day single entry visas at the kiosk.
