- We were utterly shocked and saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of André Matos. André’s work with Angra and beyond was a huge musical influence on us in the early days, and Matt Smith has this to say: “Holy Land was actually the first power metal album I ever bought, and André was among the absolute best songwriters in the genre by any calculation. His influence on me was massive in those formative years, and he will be sorely missed.” We decided to record a cover of one of our favorite Angra tracks as a humble tribute to the man and the music he left behind, and we hope you enjoy it. Our prayers are with his family, friends and fans during this difficult time.

We brazilian people feel honored for such amazing tribute.
There's been a lot of Angra covers lately, but this one is the best. Andre's music has always mad my bad moments feel better, and the good times even better. RIP, maestro mio.

@@Jesusbride515 it is not so easy. They all have jobs and lives cause having a Christian metal band does not pay the bills. And Matt (mostly) needs to write material. And I think he is bit of a perfectionist which can be a double edged sword. On one hand we get to enjoy great material with great clear punchy audio...on the other hand it obviously takes time. We all wait eagerly for more :)
