Just remember, I'm only doing this to help the RUclips algorithm. It's not because I get any sort of sick satisfaction from it. Missed lethal at 31:08. Pump Radha, swing for 22 or 23 if you play the land first.
There will once be time when CGB says "Skadoosh, we got magic the gatheringed, it's too bad, on to the next one" and it will be the biggest crossover event ever
Great job taking the high road there CGB and bring honest with us and yourself about yourself Edit: Thanks for the heart man. I mean it. I find you to be in general a class act and to be more forthcoming than most especially when you have a bad day and want you to know the honesty is appreciated.
I never stopped to see the number of subscribers of the MTG channels I follow. I knew that Tolarian Community College was the largest one (of all internetz), but I always thought you were at least half behind. Go forth CGB, your content and your responsibility are awesome and it's just a question of time for you to get the recognizement you deserve =)
uh, just not true. Temur elementals has always been powerful, it's just 1-2 turns too slow for a very aggro-centric bo1 meta. Which is the exact same issue he had with ramping.
I appreciate your smugness, CGB! I can only speak for myself, but I know that I will never have the smarts, time or energy to get as good as you have gotten and watching you win is kind of like living vicariously! Thanks again for your awesome content and I also want to say that your humility at the end won my subscription!

Hi CGB :) 21.30 don't apologize for taking your time to think to play well. That is what makes you such a good player and one of the reasons why I like to watch your vids !!!
It took me a while to get used to the snark of your personality but as time has passed and I've learned more about magic, I find a lot of your attitude totally justified. A lot of the things you complain about I also find myself getting very upset with. I really enjoy the content, and you've quickly become my favorite magic player.
Congrats on the streak. Saw the BBG parody video last night before this and thought it was hilarious. Looking forward to the upcoming epic CGB and BBG contest videos.
40:04 And YET AGAIN, the card you desperately needed the previous match and didn't show up (Ugin in this particular case) shows up right away in your next starting hand.
Came from hearthstone and have been playing for 4 months now, finding streamers who post regularly and have innovative ideas, whilst explaining enough of what’s happening so I’m not lost is hard. But CGB I watch at least 3 vids a day and you’re the reason I can’t stick to one deck! Hope you’re here for a while mate 👍
hey CGB there's any possibility that you change the facecam window to somewhere that doesn't overlaps the battlefield? This way we could see all of your creatures.
@@covertgoblue thanks, it has been hard work though. People say I should take a break from my viewing schedule. I think they just need to take a break.
As a dimir control player, Garruk's Harbringer gives me scares even worse when they have the Shifty Ceratops too. That's too turns of having two different colors and answers available. Green has gotten so strong in the recent sets, all from ramp, insane spells, effective removal, lifegain, card draw and as always great or even ridiculous creatures.
@3:17 when he said sweepers or creatures I thought of Spaceballs, maybe next rotation we will lose the sweeps, the bleeps and the creeps ruclips.net/video/B9K4N328OI8/видео.html
37:06 how can a high mythic player miss not attacking with Linden??? Would have given 5 more points of damage and two more counters... And then three seconds later pump your just played to be left behind Ajani *slap!*
I’ve been playing this deck all day today, gotta say that it’s nice to see the impact of videos like this at the same time that it is highly annoying that no one in the play queue make their own a decks :D. I enjoy your content though.
44:10 +1 on the Vivien, swing at the Ugin? It seems odd that they chose to kill the Omnath and not the Ugin there. That +2 for an extra turn is more value than the Omnath would've given. Just an odd play to me I guess, especially given they had a chump blocker if they were worried about Omnath counters.
Yo CGBs thought processes make me a better magic gamer. The Mana base, thinking ahead to the next players turn and potential leads to what comes next helps me. I'm sure it doesn't need to be said that CGB should keep being himself and smashing ranked. I watch the vids everyday.
great site! love your channel,it's one of the better ones. just a question about the last two days,i've been constantly getting waiting for server message after a game was played.it takes forever like 30 plus minutes. is something going on with the site? everything else on my computer is fine.
Played the entire current rotation on paper with the elementals deck. Risen Reef and Omnath are so much fun to play, especially together with Nissa. Gonna be real sad when they rotate out since this pandemic stopped all physical events in my LGS and I couldn't really play with them for the last few months
I play a similar deck but load up on terror of peaks and elder garagoths. And lutri for that added bonus of copying genesis which is is rare but def awesome to pull off
44:05 "I don't think they can kill the Ugin with this combination of cards." They could have done 4 damage to it with Vivien, then made an unblockable attack with their Stonecoil Serpent. (Also, even if the attack could have been blocked, there would have been 1 trample damage going through, which would kill it anyway.)
I saw this too. It made me so upset to see a mythic #77 player miss this play. Why do I get stuck in gold rank when someone can get to mythic by missing plays like that. I don't mind that CGB also didn't see the play. CGB is playing his own brew and this mono-green looked cookie cutter. If you're going to play a net deck, at least play well.
when I see the title of the video I always think "this must be the best deck in standard". But then I see the next video's title; "wow that deck must be even better". Keep up the good work and the detailed explanation of your decision making.

Vivien direct the 4 power Stonecoil to Ugin, then attack and trample over the Ugin for the 5th damage... but then again your hand had Nissa and Omnath which was lethal even if they killed Ugin.

I've been playing Temur Elementals for a while as a favorite deck, here's my list: aetherhub.com/Deck/temur-elemental-329666 I built the deck around small Chandra, abusing her summon two elementals that die at the end of turn. If it sticks even one turn, it combos like crazy with Risen Reef and Overgrowth Elemental for ramp, card draw, heal, etc. One Thassa that can blink Omnath or Risen Reef every turn. Overgrowth Elemental honestly might be the anti-aggro pick you're looking for. Giving that +1/+1 to the Leafkin Druid makes it such a good blocker. Getting to ramp to 6-mana Chandra for a one-sided sweep is really powerful, I'm really surprised it didn't make it into your deck.
Just remember, I'm only doing this to help the RUclips algorithm. It's not because I get any sort of sick satisfaction from it.

Correction: Temur elementals is not powerful.
Temur Ramp + Ugin with a side of elementals is powerful.

My favorite type of deck!
I've been playing Temur Elementals for a while as a favorite deck, here's my list: aetherhub.com/Deck/temur-elemental-329666
I built the deck around small Chandra, abusing her summon two elementals that die at the end of turn.
