I was in London today. I regularly visit as I live so close. I hope you had an amazing day and enjoyed the city as much as I do. The wedding present you did was so inspirational and an amazing gift. Well done on Claire cutting her hair. Your such a kind family. Never stop and keep up the good work. Also When Clair asked the question about the Buckingham palace gold I was so surprised as I asked the exact same question earlier today. I worked out It was painted bronze as the queen prefers spending money on well being of others over elegance and wealth.
8:36 the grenadier guard in red that's not "tough" is a trained front line soldier. The policeman, although he looks tough and is highly trained, is still only a policeman. Great video though 👍
When we were in London in late July, it was VERY hot! They were experiencing record heat, and many many buildings don't have A/C, which is something we take for granted here in the desert Southwest. A subway is not the transportation system (that's the Underground), but a pedestrian underpass. Did you know that the Winston Churchill statue is electrified to keep the pigeons off of it.

@Dan- Big Ben is not visible to anyone because it’s the name of the BELL inside the clock tower. Also, if you noticed the sign of the bridge you were on days “West Minster Bridge” it’s really pronounced that way not “Minister”
That balcony that you pointed to on buckingham palace, that's where the royals would stand for public functions like the flyover, and where the kiss would happen when Princess Diana and Prince Charles, Prince William and Catherine did after they were married.
Dan, the Big Ben is actually the big bell that plays the hour, the name of the tower is Elizabeth tower named after the queen. The tower is closed and under construction for 4 years starting in 2017, not sure if you had heard this.
My best friend just moved to London. They went and visited big bend and the London eye and stuff just like ya'll! They were there on the 27th and 28th. Did you guys edit and post this the day you were there? Or did you actually go there a day or two before you edited and posted the vid. So they might've been there when you two were, that's awesome!
Dan! You can have a tour inside the Palace for like 40 Pounds I think. Just search it on Google. You can have a tour to some rooms (not all 775 rooms that would be taken a weeks). You can also read the rules in there page about recording a video.
Hey I sent you mail and I just got your letter!!! I’m on vacation and I won’t have internet so I won’t get the notification if it comes out when I’m gone, but when I come home I will watch it!!!! Love your videos!!!
by the way, big Ben is the bell that is inside the clock tower that is called Elizabeth tower just thought you should know. as so many people get that wrong. also, they dont show a new royal baby on the balcony, but they do go on it when royals get married
Fun fact: Big Ben is the name of the bell inside the clock tower and not the actual clock tower itself. According to Wikipedia, "The official name of the tower in which Big Ben is located was originally the Clock Tower, but it was renamed Elizabeth Tower in 2012 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II". The building where Big Ben and Elizabeth Tower are located is called the Palace of Westminster and, according to Wikipedia, it "serves as the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom". You can, during certain days and times, go inside Palace of Westminster and watch a meeting of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
Slight correction: you said the building with Big Ben is called Westminster abbey when in actual fact it is called the Houses of Parliament and Westminster abbey is a street behind the Houses of Parliament.
