Thank you so much for sharing!! This was super informative ❤ A couple of questions, if I may: 1. How thick are your jazz III picks, and is this a standard size? 2. How important is the thickness of the pick for acoustic vs electric guitars?
Glad you liked it man. My picks are normally between 1.5 to 2 mm thick. Thickness is pretty important, but so is stiffness. You want to find a balance that works for you. A pick that is too thin and flimsy isn’t going to bring out all the frequencies your instrument is made to produce, regardless of it being electric or acoustic. I tend to use picks of varying thickness while double tracking, just to bring out that much more variation.
