Big stacks dawgy. You can catch me at Claremont Vol 1 moving forward but to be honest Vol 1 kinda hard to get through lol 91 relaunch is where it’s at.
The big story arcs are great from the early stuff. But yeah I agree that 90s stuff is top notch.
Great video. I had to pause a third in because I am just reading issue 153 from an Epic Collection... is there an Omni that delves into the stories in between 66 and GSX1? The Epic line has a book that does this so well, covering the Beast turning blue, Wolverine's first appearance in Hulk, etc. Not required reading, but it really bridges the book from cancelation to rebirth and would be awesome if an Omni collected it.
Nah unfortunately not. That would be a cool Omni tho! Not just for X-Men but other characters like Spider-Man etc 👍🏻

Where were some of the other like Fatal Attractions, Phalanx Covenant, wedding of Cyclops and Phoenix, Shattershot, Eve of Destruction, etc? Are those all considered OHC as opposed to Omnibus?
Yeah they are all OHC’s

Are the x force, x factor, and new mutants stories included in these, or they separate omnibuses.
Several of these Omnis contain issues from those titles. If you want to dive deeper into those titles they also have Omnibus.
Does it make sense to read Age of Apocalypse omni before Uncanny X-men omnis?
If you have basic knowledge of the X-Men it shouldn’t really matter tbh but ideally yeah you should start from Uncanny.
MAn, I want to read the whole saga but don't hae the space for them all. Even just the claremont era is like 13 omni's. Never had heard of the Grand Design Omni. Thinking about starting there and then getting the omnis between there and AoA. Think that'd be a solid read and collection?
Yeah Grand Design is a solid read! The thing with X-Men is if ya have the basic knowledge even from the animated series you can kinda pick it up at any point and be good.
What's up with The New Mutants Omnis? X-Factor by Peter David? Weapon X The Return Omni? Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender?

Nah I’m sure youtube has an algorithm for adds tho. I’ll start having election bs soon I’m sure. That’s cool they ran X-Men 97’ tho. That shows been really good so far.
where do the spin offs fit in?
I don’t particularly like the lion gn dialogue from the early Omnis so would it be wise to just jump on from X-Men The Animated Series of Age Of Apocalypse

@@MentalMa3ter Ohh gotcha! To be completely honest if you have basic knowledge of X-Men it doesn’t matter if you jump around. That’s with anything for the most part when it comes to Marvel or DC superhero titles. I wouldn’t with an indie title. Like picking up SIKTC now wouldn’t be ideal.

Quite a bit tbh. All the major stuff is collected in Omnibus format tho.

@@xUSAFWolfman yeah the 2 Phoenix Omnis are the same. Sometimes u can find a good deal on multiple books in Facebook groups.

Uncanny x-men picks up after volume 4… Vol 5 ends with #209 and then picks up with #210 in Mutant Massacre. New Mutants i honestly forget I think it’s before UXM vol4

While I appreciate the effort, if you're talking "chronologically" in terms of continuity, the X-Men: The Hidden years Omnibus should have been placed between X-Men Vol.2 and Uncanny X-Men Vol.1
