Those Jim Lee omni's and Onslaught omni are at the top of my most wanted list. We need a reprint ASAP
I think the Jim Lee's come out next year. Nothing on Onslaught.

@@thanosdarkseid8695 They have Age of Apocalypse on Amazon new. But it's 175. More expensive than a reprint. But not outrageous like some are.
Wow! I didn't realize how valuable an Omni can become, and hard to get your hands on in some cases. Just the fact that you can tell us about reprints coming for certain Omni's is a big money saver for people who don't know, and might pay a lot for them unnecessarily otherwise. Makes that Gem Mint You Tube membership worth every cent, when you think about the money Gem Mint might save you. Especially if your a newer comic and Omni buyer like me. Great info and nice review of these X Men Omni.
Absolutely love the X-Men! My favorite superhero team. Just wish marvel/disney gave them more love and attention that they deserve!

I don't know why you have a dislike. I love these videos, and I know they take a lot of time to make, between recording and editing it's a whole day's worth of work. I hope pne day you do the Daredevil/Elektra ones, but I know there's a whole load of other ones people would like like Avengers and stuff.

Comic books collecting today is a crazy expensive hobby. When I started collecting , cover price was 20 cents. Spending less $10/ month. Nice collections Gem

I remember when Walt Simonson's Thor omnibus was going for crazy prices--until they reprinted it and all of a sudden the prices came back to earth. Unless you're rolling in cash, never pay those gouged up prices for any collected edition from the big two. They will reprint it.

True... unfortunately they don’t reprint often and you never know what they will or will not reprint
Of course they will, but not everyone is patient enough to wait 4-5-6 years.
My favorite Walt Slmonson was for D.C. The Manhunter. I believe it was his first comic book work.

I finally started my marvel collection. X-men, Deadpool and Spider-Man are my first. So trying to get them all. So love that you have these videos I keep going back and rewatching these.
So glad the Claremont run is getting a reprint. Definitely getting 2 and 3 for Christmas (or earlier!)

This is a great video! When I was a kid - Uncanny X-Men #94 onwards were "the" comics of the day - everyone was "X-crazy". I think that #94-141 are really the heart of X-Men (but, of course, I'm biased because those were the issues of my youth). Thanks for the video!

I'm finally going through this, about damn time.
I feel like the Silvestri Uncanny issues are overlooked due to Jim Lee.
Got to try to get some of them. I got the first X-men omnibus and Astonishing X-men Omnibus a couple of years ago for about only $12-15 each, thanks to a error in the price-algorithm at a webshop. Now that is a good bargain!

Il get that age of apocalypse.. then new xmen..then sit tight til nxt yr for the astonishing xmen
I do love The Age of Apocalypse and desire the central Omnibus with just the right amount of Legion Quest to setup the story and not overly scattered or distracted (like the legion quest omnibus or the smaller age of apocalypse prelude and also because the splash page in Legion Quest - the X-Men Unlimited is just so visually painful and the character looks like they’re in agony from over-pencilling) and this has sealed the deal for me to eventually acquire The Age of Apocalypse Companion for extras, no pressure!

I would absolutely kill for an omnibus with a 30 $ additional price tag that included a digital code as well. I 100% want my physical edition the feel of the book is something you cant replace but the ease of reading my digital books cannot be ignored. I would love to spend a little more to get a digital copy with the book so I can travel with it.

Yeah, I have some of those and they are exactly the same as an omni only labeled differently. Inferno Prologue, Inferno, Fall of the Mutants, Fatal Attractions, Operation Zero Tolerance. There might be more, those are the ones I remember.
Yeah, I have Inferno Prologue, Fatal Attractions, and Wedding of Cyclops and Jean Grey OHC, and they just look like omnibuses to me, like omnibuses in all but name only, and I really don't understand what the difference is or why Omnibus is better than ohc, since it just seems like a label. Maybe it's a prestige thing.
I was against the dark phoenix omnibus but as i get rid of my super hero books & narrow it down to just my faves this omni sounds more & more genius
Do you think they will ever reissue the 1st volume of the original X-Men? They have reissued the first volumes of the FF, Spider-Man, and Cap but not the X-men? It is far too expensive to buy on the aftermarket.

march is vol 4 2021, dec 16th 2020 is vol 3 again i have on pre order dec 30th is infinity crusade omnibus too!! found all 8 old xmen pricey cant sadly find vol 1-2 wish were reprinted deserve to be!!!

Love your video, gave me a chance to check out some Omnis that i was thinking of purchasing. I would like to correct you though, X-Men the Movie came out in 2000, New X-Men which was published in 2001 was a reflection of the movies, it was not the inspiration for the movies. It was Marvel and Fox trying out corporate synergy.

Recently, I got Uncanny X men Omnibus vol.1 and 2, hope to finish before June.
My next will be Age Of Apocalypse omnibus (I like Multiverse).
Do you think I should finish Uncanny X men Omnibus vol.3 and 4, then go back to X-Men by Chris Claremont & Jim Lee Omnibus Vol.1 and 2, or do you have any suggestions?

Yes if you like the old school classics you can begin with the 60's X-Men, but it's outdated.
The X-men that everyone love really begin with UXM omnis 1,2,3, and 4 coming soon. For me it goes all along untill the end of the Chris Claremont era (X-Men by Claremont & Jim Lee Vol.2) I have almost all collected or working on it for that period. (the best X-Men period)

I would like to start reading some X-Men but I’m not a fan of the older style art work, can anyone recommend something that that has more up to date art work but also a good story ?
I think astonishing is a good start...kind of helps to read New X-Men first, but the art isnt great IMO....Maybe even pick up the House of X OHC when it comes out later this year

I'm undecided whether to buy x-men classic or uncanny X-Men, vol 1 omnibus, the stories are more or less similar so which one do you recommend?
I’d go with Uncanny. The classic did have additional pages added to the stories in an attempt to enhance them… I never really got into it.

classic xmen has the same material as uncanny but additional pages and story...kind of a double dip but you do get more content

i think the are very likely...that department of marvel is now watching these types of videos...which is why we're getting some of the reprints that have been announced...mainly Omar from Near Mint condition is whispering in their ear.
