I am very grateful to God for a teacher like Andy Woods. I have learned so much more through his clear and Biblical teaching. Just letting you know, but I think there was a little problem with the sound.
I can't believe that Andy Woods would create a theology of evangelism out of hastening and looking for the coming day of the Lord. To teach that we can make it come sooner or later by a lack of witnessing or witnessing more is bizarre. There is no such Doctrine in the Bible. God is Sovereign. God knows when He is returning. We can't affect that one way or another. Our looking for and hastening the day of the Lord return is simply what Peter says it is. Rather than fearing the coming of the Lord and his judgment we look forward to it because we know that our home is heaven and Christians are not to fear this terrible time of God's return and it has nothing to do with our evangelism at all. It seems like Andy Woods just makes things up off the top of his head which is not a good way of teaching the Bible.
@@veekoo8381 I heard him say it on Brannonn howses program radio program vcy America from 1:00 to 2:00 Monday through Friday in response to a caller who called in. I'm positive he said it besides that I watched a half hour video of him sitting in his study at his church with one of his elders attacking John MacArthur the entire time and as far as I'm concerned he and Brandon house are nothing but losers and false Christians and haters
@@jeffhughes6054 Thank you for taking the time. I appreciate it. What year was this? We all can and should learn as we go - pastors and non-pastors alike. From my own walk and the people around me (not about Andy) I see clearly that we all have error, we all make mistakes, every single one of us. When I made stark mistakes, I was still not a hater and a loser, nor a false Christian. Every single one of us - esp if we stay humble and moldable - have God's mercy. I surely wouldn't want to view people next to me as false (though I've been there too) just because they make mistakes. They definitely do. And so do I. We are ALL but dust, but regardless, God has mercy. There are teachers I don't choose to listen to, and there are teachers I do - but not one single one of them will have all of their points correct. That's why we all need God's mercy, and I'm grateful that He does indeed patiently give it to us. Let us continue to seek His guidance for Him to continue molding us. As humbly and broken as possible at any given moment. Love, Veera

Andy woods your audio sounds like your in a tunnel needs correction, may the Lord bless you and your family.
To believe in all who Christ is. Paul had been preaching and teaching about who the Lord
was before he told him to believe.
Great answer. Context is v.i.p.
Is there one with better audio? Thanks.
Sound is messed up and echoes.

Jeff, I'm just starting this clip - if you see this note - whereabouts does he state that? Perhaps you might have misunderstood?

Andy is just explaining to us what Peter actually wrote!
