Incredible. Loved the second patch. Have been fascinated by this module since it came out, wondering how I might replicate. Four sine waves, modulating freq, amount, phase...? Into VCV we go!
Thanks Rick, that's great to hear. And I love the idea of trying to replicate SP in VCV rack. I'd start with a full-wave rectification of a sine wave, then invert it, for a sharp peak and gentle trough. But as you reduce the gain, it should revert to a simple sine wave. Good luck!
at first sight it looks kinda a hyped hippie thing, but when you listen to the results it´s a great module very "interstellar" music, with obvious memories of the water planet
@@____.__._.._ I know, but I really dig the kind of movement it gives to those modulated parameters... it´s different than a regular LFO or even those with drift capabilites
Thanks for the comments. Yes, it's definitely not your standard LFO module. I tried initially to control it, but quickly released you have to let it just do its thing!
Thanks! Yet, just modulation of the filter cutoffs (one output to each filter's frequency input). I hadn't thought to send them also to oscillator shape - that would have been good!
Best modular channel on RUclips. Keep it up. ❤
Wow, that's very kind indeed!
Man, I also love Become Ocean, a groundbreaking piece for sure.
Yes, I'd love to see a live performance some day!
Very good, please do more 😊
Thanks, will do! 👍
Thank you for this video. I love SP and there isn’t enough about it online. You’ve inspired me to go use mine tonight :)
That’s great to hear! What kinds of things do you use yours for?
@ I’m using it with the 4ms swn right now and that’s all so far but I’m very excited to try it elsewhere :)
This was incredible!
Cheers, Mike!
Another masterpiece, bravo 👏 incredible work
Thanks, ondraJams - very kind!!

@ thank you, will try!
Fascinating 😊
Thanks Probbie!

those are not direct results, as this is a modulation source only

Really incredible stuff! What alls happening when you're "churning up" the brass in the second half - filter cutoffs? Oscillator shape change?

cool module, but 320Euro... seriously?
I think there's a lot going on under the hood!
