I've always liked Adam. He was young and new to the supernatural when he said yes to Michael. He didn't know what he was getting into. And I think he deserved the apology because the Winchesters have done more for people they knew less or those who were once villains, and he was still their half brother. It wasn't very Winchester-like to me for them, especially Sam to drop trying to get him out of the cage so easily after Death said "pick one" (I absolutely do not blame Dean for choosing Sam - he knew Sam more and practically raised him). Michael wise, I've always seen a potential in him to be different from Raphael and Lucifer. That he could learn to like humans. Adam's a start. So was him not smiting the diner people when they saw what he did to Lilith. Before Adam he definitely would've just killed them. (See when he talked to Zachariah in the bar).

Michael and Adam both know what it's like to be alone for a very long time, so they could relate to Jack on that level.
I'm sure he will have mixed feelings since he is Lucifer's son. And maybe Michael will feel like he can be a father figure to him like Lucifer wasn't. I'm still holding on thinking that Michael will actually be a good guy and take charge over heaven at the end of the series.

I really thought Adam would have been driven insane in the cage and all he would want was revenge when he got out. I thought he would be a villain in the last season. It was a pleasant surprise that that wasn't the case, that he had Michael, and they helped each other get through. Dean's apology was welcome, and it was a great scene and acting. Great job on this video. Very moving tribute.
This is so beautiful, I can never understand how the Winchesters will go through extraordinary ordeals for complete strangers but didn’t think twice about Adam. Not just because he was family (I know they were practically strangers) but because he was an innocent soul trapped in Hell.

This video really showed Adam and Michael's story well, and from a different perspective. It shows how even though Michael was a big archangel, end of the day, his family mattered to him, and then that family broke and let him rot in hell, and that does things to a being. And with Adam, he was barely a man when he said yes to Michael. Now, he comes out of hell, he's got no family except for the Winchesters who left him there. I don't know how either of them is supposed to deal with that much disappointment with grace, but they did help out because they knew the problem was above them. Thank you so much for this heartfelt edit!!

The Winchesters did him so dirty abandoning him like that but at least he got closure and now the healing can begin for both Adam and Michael. I gotta be honest, it's all this stuff with Adam that really made me dislike the Winchester brothers a lot. They left him down there and didn't even try. If it had been Sam or Dean, neither would have given up, hell, the boys have done more for Bobby and Cas than they did for Adam, and I can't imagine the kind of horror that poor Adam went through emotionally knowing that nobody was gonna fight for him, certainly not his own brothers. The fact that Sam and Dean practically just forgot Adam really is the reason that I knew all this "family" stuff with them is really just kinda BS cover for a really unhealthy co-dependent relationship that I didn't found interesting anymore. Adam really deserved better and he deserved better than Sam and Dean. I'm glad that Adam at least had Michael on his side.

Even if crowley agreed to help, which he wouldn’t, he couldnt get him out without leaving his soul behind. There were no beings powerful enough. Yes, I agree they could have dwelled on him more, but I take that as bad writing, not really the brothers fault.

I agreed they should have tried more, although Death told Dean he could only have one of them and to be fair they never really tried to get anyone out of Hell, except Bobby. John went and they didn't try because they thought there was nothing you could do. Dean went and Bobby said there was nothing they could do, Sam tried but there seemed to be nothing he could do, than with Sam they new you could come back because Dean did, but the cage is very different. I think they tried a bit but truly believed there was nothing they could do but and they tried to tell Adam not to say yes to Michael but still they should have kept trying.
Agree their brotherly love is the whole reason I watched the show-it became such bullshit after S7 their brotherly love didn’t even feel real anymore. And in the later seasons they kept contradicting a lot of shit that they learned in the early seasons and that got on my nerves as well like they completely forgot about it. Sam and Dean’s brotherly relationship barely felt real after all the stuff with Beany (idk what his name was- it was that vampire from purgatory), I also hated how Dean kept ragging on Sam about Sam wanting to leave hunting-or when Heaven revealed that Sam’s happiest moment was the night he left hunting…like let Sam live his life. I also hate how Sam’s become a shell of his old character-I liked when he was rebellious towards hunting and actually had morals, before he would’ve been hesitant towards decapitating a monster because it’s far too grueling and brutal even for their tastes and in the later seasons he does it without even thinking, or how he just mindlessly follows whatever Dean says, Lucifer was right about how Sam changed for the better

This had the potential for a good spin-off about Adam trying to return to normality and Michael finding his true purpose be wandering earth or returning to Heaven, but the writers ruined all that.
It seems the writers made it their personal mission to ruin any solid reason for a spinoff that would include any of their main and/or unexplored characters

Now I want Gabriel and Crowley back in the show. My theory says Dean, Sam, Cass, Jack, Micheal, Gabriel and Crowley will team up and beat chuck. Chuck dies, and after that Amara and Jack becomes new God... Crowley rules hell once again.. Michael Gabriel returns back to heaven and Sam Dean and Cass dies and is sent to the empty. Or amara changes the time and reality as if nothing ever happened. Creating an alternate reality for sam and dean where they are normal people where no supernatural exists and they don't even remember anything.
Is Michael real vessel sad they didn't tell his side of the story with john and marry he spent more time with his mom and Dad then both Sam and dean at least with john though well the truth is there all family so we ought not to judge great show though just think if we had few more seasons and we could all get to know them all that be epic feels so real the supernatural is Awesome

I think the only reason Dean picked Sam's soul over Adams only because soul is Sam could not be contained and would cause more harm than good.
Honestly I reckon and hope jack will replace god as god he has the power to but with his soul back jack is the only archangel/human nephilim with the grace of another powerful archangel and his own to create life and other angels and I reckon Micheal should guide him I know Adam and him have a deal but Micheal should help jack when the time comes to go to heaven teach jack but this time create angels who are good and not dicks I reckon Micheal would help out his nephew especially with the power jack has which is almost the power of god itself that would be a perfect ending for jack especially if cas gets taken away by the cosmic being the empty and if dean dies which I reckon he will and Sam should live a happy normal life with Eileen jack and Micheal should go back to heaven in Adams body of course so they can change and fix heaven

Adam will always be the biggest blemish in Sam and deans characters and that includes starting the apocalypse and killing death.
Now I want Gabriel and Crowley back in the show. My theory says Dean, Sam, Cass, Jack, Micheal, Gabriel and Crowley will team up and beat chuck. Chuck dies, and after that Amara and Jack becomes new God... Crowley rules hell once again.. Michael Gabriel returns back to heaven and Sam Dean and Cass dies and is sent to the empty.
Or amara changes the time and reality as if nothing ever happened. Creating an alternate reality for sam and dean where they are normal people where no supernatural exists and they don't even remember anything.

Adam was just normal kid with no idea of what the heck is going on! He was killed by monsters wanting vengeance over his dad, and then was ressucted by angels telling him the fate of the world was over his shoulders.
